Summary Cupric chloride-triphenylphosphine complex gives red color witho-phenylenediamine having maximum absorption at 505–520 nm and 0.5g/ml as visual limit of identification. The reaction is specific foro-phenylenediamine and obeys Beer's law (1 to 10g/ml). This reaction provides the basis of a new method for the Spectrophotometric determination ofo-phenylenediamine ing quantities.Ruthenium trichloride-triphenylphosphine complex gives blue color withp-phenylenediamine having maximum absorption at 580 nm and 2g/ml as visual limit of identification. On the basis of this color reaction a Spectrophotometric method for the determination ofp-phenylenediamine in hair dyes is described. The recovery of the dye from commercial preparations is better than 97%. Other organic compounds do not interfere.
Zusammenfassung Kupfer(II)chlorid-triphenylphosphin reagiert mito-Phenylendiamin unter Rotfärbung mit maximaler Absorption bei 505 bis 520 nm und 0,5g/ml als Erfassungsgrenze. Die Reaktion ist für o-Phenylendiamin spezifisch und folgt dem Beerschen Gesetz zwischen 1 und 10g/ml. Sie dient als Grundlage für eine neue Methode der spektrophotometrischen Bestimmung von Mikrogrammengen o-Phenylendiamin.Rutheniumtrichlorid-triphenylphosphin reagiert mit p-Phenylendiamin unter Blaufärbung mit maximaler Absorption bei 580 nm und 2g/ml als Erfassungsgrenze. Auf dieser Grundlage läßt sich p-Phenylendiamin in Haarfärbemitteln bestimmen. In handelsüblichen Präparaten werden mehr als 97% des enthaltenen Farbstoffes gefunden. Andere Verbindungen stören nicht.

The thermal dissociation of the cupferron complexes with Cu(II), Ni, Co(II), Zn, Cd, Mn(II), Hg(II), Mg, Ca, Ba, Sr, Al, Fe(III). Ce(III), La, and Nd was studied by differential thermal analysis (DTA) and by pyrolysis into a mass spectrometer. The DTA curves consisted mainly of endothermic peaks although some contained exothermic peaks as well. The mass spectrometer showed that cupferron decomposes slightly above room temperature, giving off N2, NO, N2O, NH3 and H2O. A mechanism for the thermal dissociation of the coppcr(II) cupferrate is proposed.  相似文献

Summary A method for semiquantitative determination of thiourea, thiocyanate, and sulfide is described. It involves making circular spots or rings on chromatoplates using the circular thin layer Chromatographic apparatus. The method is based on sensitivity and specificity of spot reactions and comparison of the color intensity of a circular spot with that of sensitivity standards. The accuracy of the method is ± 5% and the procedure is rapid, simple and economical.
Zusammenfassung Ein Verfahren zur halbquantitativen Bestimmung von Thioharnstoff, Thiocyanat und Sulfid wurde beschrieben. Es beruht auf der chromatographischen Herstellung kreisförmiger Flecken oder Ringe auf Dünnschichtplatten. Mit empfindlichen und spezifischen Tüpfelreaktionen wurden die Flecken gefärbt und die Farbintensität mit Standardproben verglichen. Die Genauigkeit beträgt ± 5%.

The results of our investigation on the sensitized luminescence properties of three Eu(III) ??-diketonate complexes of the form [Eu2(fod)6(??-bpm)], [Eu(fod)3(phen)] and [Eu(fod)3(bpy)] and 4f?C4f absorption properties of their Er(III) analogues ( fod = anion of 6,6,7,7,8,8,8- heptafluoro-2,2-dimethyl-3,5-octanedione, bpm = 2,2??-bipyrimidine, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline and bpy = 2,2??-bipyridyl) in a series of non-aqueous solvents are presented. The Eu(III) complexes are highly luminescent and their luminescence properties (intensity and band shape) are sensitive to the changes in the inner coordination sphere of the Eu(III) ion. The luminescence intensity of the mononuclear complexes in pyridine is drastically decreased. The coordination structure of the complexes in pyridine is transformed into a more symmetrical one which results into a slow radiative rate of the emission from the complexes. The ancillary ligands, phen and bpy are found better co-sensitizers as compared to the bpm to sensitize Eu(III)-luminescence. The 4f?C4f absorption properties (oscillator strength and band shape) of the Er(III) complexes demonstrate that 4G11/2 ?? 4I11/2 and 2H11/2 ?? 4I15/2 hypersensitive transitions of Er(III) are very sensitive in some coordinating solvents which reflects complex?Csolvent interaction in solution. The hypersensitive transitions of [Er(fod)3(phen)] remain unaffected in any of the solvents and this complex retains its bulk composition in solution. The erbium complexes as well as the Er(fod)3 chelate are invaded by DMSO. This solvent enters the inner coordination sphere by replacing heterocyclic ligand and the complexes acquire similar structure [Er(fod)3(DMSO)2] in this solvent. The results reveal that the luminescence and absorption properties of lanthanide complexes in solution can be controlled by tuning the coordination structure through ancillary ligands and donor solvents. This work shall prove useful in designing new biological applications with such probes.  相似文献

The propensity of the new, phenylphosphonate-stabilized polyoxotungstate [(C6H5PVO)2P4W24O92]16− to act as a precursor for new 3d metal-functionalized polyanions has been investigated. Reactions with MnII and CuII induce the formation of the previously unknown polyoxotungstate archetype {P4W27}, isolated as salts of the polyanions [Na⊂{MnII(H2O)}{WO(H2O)}P4W26O98]13− ( 1 ) and [K⊂{CuII(H2O)}{W(OH)(H2O)}P4W27O99]14− ( 2 ), which were characterized in the solid state (single-crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental and TG analyses, IR spectroscopy, SQUID magnetometry) and in aqueous solution (UV/Vis spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry).  相似文献

The imidazole adducts of tris(heptafluorooctanedionato)lanthanide(III), [Ln(fod)3 · im] have been synthesized and characterized. The electronic spectra in the visible region have been analysed and spectral parameters (β, b1/2, δ and Tλ) and oscillator strengths calculated and discussed. These complexes are more covalent than the analogous [Ln(fod)3 · pz] complexes, pz = pyrazole. The covalency is more in solution than in the solid state. The experimental and the calculated oscillator strengths are in good agreement. The band shape for the hypersensitive transition in the solid and solution spectra is compared with the other known systems and discussed. The difference in the band shape of the hypersensitive transition in the solid and in solution is indicative of solvent molecule coordination. The Mössbauer spectrum of [Eu(fod)3 · im] is reported. The dipolar shift produced in the NMR spectrum of [Eu(fod)3 · im] is upfield in comparison to the signal of the organic moiety itself as well as in its diamagnetic analogues. The coordinated base does not dissociate even in DMSO solution. Due to their poor solubility these compounds are not suitable for use as induced NMR shift reagents.  相似文献

The optical absorption and NMR studies of trivalent lanthanide chloride complexes with 2,2'-bipyridine (bpy) are presented and discussed. The NMR spectra of paramagnetic complexes exhibit lower as well as higher field shifts of bpy resonances that reflect change in geometry and reveals importance of the factor (3 cos2 theta - 1 ) in changing sign of the shift. The paramagnetic shifts recorded have been analyzed and the intramolecular shift ratios suggest that the paramagnetic shift is predominantly dipolar in origin. Electronic spectral studies of the Pr, Nd, Ho, Er and Dy complexes in different solvents (viz. methanol, pyridine, DMSO and DMF), which differ with respect to donor atoms, reveal that the chemical environment around the lanthanide ion has great impact on f-f transitions and any change in the environment results in modifications of the spectra. The oscillator strength for the hypersensitive and non-hypersensitive transitions have been determined and changes in the oscillator strength and band shape with respect to solvent type is rationalized in terms of ligand (solvent) structure and coordination properties.  相似文献
