In this paper, the flow problem of incompressible liquid through an inhomogeneous porous medium (say dam), with permeability allowing parametrization of the free boundary by a graph of continuous unidimensional function, is considered. We propose a new formulation on an optimal shape design problem. We show the existence of a solution of the optimal shape design problem. Essential oils proved their efficiency as natural insecticides to fight many pests of stored products and crops whereas the hydrosols have not been evaluated yet. The objective of this work is to assess the insecticidal effect of hydrosols extracted from Mentha suaveolens Ehrh. and Mentha pulegium L. toward an insect pest of citrus, Toxoptera aurantii (Homoptera, Aphididae). The extraction of hydrosols was carried out by hydro-distillation using Clevenger apparatus and then the chemical composition was identified by gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry. The chemical composition of two hydrosols revealed the abundance of hydrophilic and oxygenated compounds as piperitenone oxide and carvacrol. Different concentrations of each hydrosol were separately diluted in distilled water and applied topically to aphids. The results of this investigation have shown a high insecticidal effect, and the M. suaveolens hydrosol is more effective against citrus pests than that of M. pulegium L. Consequently, these natural compounds can be used in the management of aphids on citrus.  相似文献

We present a sensitive measurement of the dissipation and the effective viscosity of a simple confined liquid (octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane) using an atomic force microscope. The experimental data show that the damping and the effective viscosity increase and present oscillations as the gap between the cantilever tip and the surface is diminished. To our knowledge, the damping and the viscosity modulation are reported here with such good accuracy for the first time. Such an experimental result is different from what has been reported earlier where only a continuous increase of the damping and the viscosity are observed.  相似文献

Diarylnitrilimine and arylnitriloxide dipoles react with two 8‐hydroxyquinoline substrates to give respectively pyrazolinic and isoxazolinic derivatives. The structure of these new heterocycles was established on the basis of their spectroscopic data and by chemical methods. The inhibition activity of one of these heterocycles was evaluated in vitro against 8 pathogenic μ‐organisms.  相似文献

The phase diagrams of the transverse spin-1 Ising model with random interactions are investigated using a new technique in the effective field theory that employs a probability distribution within the framework of the single-site cluster theory based on the use of exact Ising spin identities. A model is adopted in which the nearest-neighbor exchange couplings are independent random variables distributed according to the law P(Jij)=(JijJ)+(1−p)δ(JijαJ). General formulae, applicable to lattices with coordination number N, are given. Numerical results are presented for a simple cubic lattice. The possible reentrant phenomenon displayed by the system due to the competitive effects between exchange interactions occurs for the appropriate range of the parameter α.  相似文献

In this paper, a version of K-median problem, one of the most popular and best studied clustering measures, is discussed. The model using squared Euclidean distances terms to which the K-means algorithm has been successfully applied is considered. A fast and robust algorithm based on DC (Difference of Convex functions) programming and DC Algorithms (DCA) is investigated. Preliminary numerical solutions on real-world databases show the efficiency and the superiority of the appropriate DCA with respect to the standard K-means algorithm.   相似文献

The purpose of this study is to analyse the combined heat and mass transfer of liquid film condensation from a small steam–air mixtures flowing downward along a vertical tube. Both liquid and gas stream are approached by two coupled laminar boundary layer. An implicit finite difference method is employed to solve the coupled governing equations for liquid film and gas flow together with the interfacial matching conditions. The effects of a wide range of changes of three independent variables (inlet pressure, inlet Reynolds number and wall temperature) on the concentration at exit tube, local Nusselt and Sherwood numbers, film thickness, accumulated condensate rate and temperature are carefully examined. The numerical results indicate that in the case of condensing a small concentration of vapours from a mixture, the resistance to heat and mass transfer by non-condensable gas becomes very intense. The comparisons of average Nusselt number and local condensate heat transfer coefficient with the literature results are in good agreement.  相似文献

Cycloaddition of nitrones 1 with methylene-gamma-butyrolactones 2, 3 and 4 afforded spiroadducts 5, 6 and 7 with high selectivity. Mixtures of diastereoisomers were usually obtained, whose structures were established by 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopies or X-ray crystallography. Treatment of spiroadducts in acidic and alkaline media led to different, unexpected and novel rearrangements.  相似文献
