Pd nanoparticles supported on Bi2WO6 nanoplates used for visible-light-driven photocatalyst were successfully synthesized by photoreduction deposition method under visible-light irradiation. Different analytical techniques including X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy and photoluminescence spectroscopy revealed that face-centered cubic metallic Pd nanoparticles were uniformly loaded on top of orthorhombic Bi2WO6 nanoplates to form heterostructure Pd/Bi2WO6 nanocomposites. Photocatalytic activities of pure Bi2WO6 sample and heterostructure Pd/Bi2WO6 nanocomposites were studied through the photodegradation of rhodamine B (RhB) under visible-light irradiation. The photocatalytic efficiency of Bi2WO6 was increased to the highest by being loaded with 5 wt% Pd and then decreased by being loaded with 10 wt% Pd. The improved photocatalytic efficiency caused by high-efficiency diffusion and separation of photo-generated charge carriers was explained and can lead to superior photodegradation of RhB under visible-light irradiation.

Treatment of poly(chlorotrifluoroethylene) with allyltin reagents results in the clean replacement of chlorine by the allyl group under free-radical–chain conditions (AIBN, allyltributyltin), affording about a 10% degree of functionalization. An improved method using one-electron reduction of the polymer with cobalt(II) (generated by reduction of chloro(pyridine)bis(dimethylglyoximato)cobalt(III) with Mg) and allyltributyltin gives 50% functionalization. Further modification of the allyl group is realized through hydroboration-oxidation to the alcohol and subsequent Cr(VI) oxidation to the acid. Visible-light-driven heterostructure Ag/Bi2WO6 nanocomposites were prepared by transforming Ag+ ions into metallic Ag0 nanoparticles loaded on top of Bi2WO6 nanoplates under visible light irradiation for 1 h. XRD, XPS, SEM and TEM analyses indicated that spherical metallic Ag nanoparticles were uniformly dispersed on top of orthorhombic Bi2WO6 thin nanoplates. Rhodamine B (RhB) was used as a dye model for investigation of photocatalytic performance of Bi2WO6 nanoplates with different weight contents of Ag nanoparticles illuminated by visible radiation. In this research, 10% Ag/Bi2WO6 nanocomposites have the highest photocatalytic activity in the degradation of RhB at 94.21% within 210 min because of the rapid diffusion of electronic charge through the Schottky barrier between metallic Ag nanoparticles and Bi2WO6 thin nanoplates, good electrical conductivity of metallic Ag nanoparticles, inhibited recombination of charge carriers and enhanced photocatalytic activity of Ag/Bi2WO6 nanocomposites. Main active species of the photocatalysis and stability of the photocatalyst were also evaluated.

Amoxicillin was removed from aqueous solutions using hollow fibre supported liquid membrane system (HFSLM). After evaluation of the influencing variables, the highest permeation coefficient of amoxicillin reached 2.778 × 10?4 ms?1 when the length of hollow fibres was 15 cm and the operating time was 60 min. Then, the reaction flux models of extraction and stripping were calculated. Thereafter, the modelling results were compared with the experimental data at standard deviations of 2.07 and 3.19%. In the comparison of carrier and diluent, the best conditions were achieved when Aliquat 336 and 1-Decanol were used. Results showed that amoxicillin extraction and stripping were of first and zero reaction orders; their reaction rate constants were 0.0344 min?1 and 0.0445 mg/L·min, respectively.  相似文献

The mammalian female reproductive tract cells have been wildely used in in vitro fertilization. We studied the secretory proteins of porcine oviductal epithelial cells (POEC), and cumulus cells (CC) co-cultured with granulosa cells (GC) in conditioned media (CM), and their ability in inducing acrosome reaction (AR) on frozen-thawed bovine spermatozoa. POEC and CC+GC were cultured in M 199 medium for 48, 96 and 144h prior to investigation of protein secretion. The results from SDS-PAGE showed secretory proteins sizes of about 17, 22 and >220kDa in both CM from POEC and CC+GC. To test the ability of CM from POEC and CC+GC in inducing AR, the CM was frozen for 1-3 months before incubating with frozen-thawed bovine spermatozoa. Percentages of the spermatozoa with AR were determined under an inverted microscope and it was found that the tested group 1 (incubated with fresh and frozen CM from POEC for 1-3 months) were 78.44+/-7.25, 75.78+/-4.41, 65.22+/-5.59 and 50.56+/-6.25, respectively. The tested group 2 (incubated with fresh and frozen CM from CC+GC for 1-3 months) had the percentages of the spermatozoa with AR at 88.67+/-4.03, 82.22+/-3.46, 71.00+/-3.16, and 58.56+/-4.69, respectively. Statistical analysis of all group percentages indicated that they were significantly different (P<0.05). Transmission electron microscope studies demonstrated that there were morphological changes on the sperm heads which resulted in the leakage of acrosin and subsequent AR. We concluded that the CM from both POEC and CC+GC efficiently increased in vitro AR on frozen-thawed bovine spermatozoa. Identification and functions of these secretory proteins are currently under investigation which may lead us to a better understanding of other beneficial effects in the utilization of both CM conditions.  相似文献

Inhibition of primary oocyte developing to secondary oocyte results from oocyte maturation inhibitor (OMI) which is secreted from oocyte-surrounding cumulus cells (CCs) during forming complexes with an oocyte. Development of primary oocyte occurs when the CCs are dissociated from the oocyte. This research studied the effects of pFSH, LH, and estradiol supplementation in culture medium on ultrastructures of porcine cumulus oocyte complexes (pCOCs) using transmission electron microcopy (TEM) and inverted microscopy. A total of 880 oocytes were isolated from 110 ovaries: an average of 8 oocytes per ovary. The oocytes were round in shape and surrounded by zona pellucida with layers of cumulus cells (CCs), at a diameter ranging between 90 and 150 μm and more than 400 μm. Based on the CCs surrounding an oocyte, pCOCs were classified into 5 types, which were intact-, multi-, partial cumulus cell layers, completely denuded oocyte, and expanded cumulus cell layer, which were found at the percentage of 53.86%, 14.32%, 4.32%, 19.20%, and 8.30%, respectively. The Types I and II pCOCs (intact- and multi-CCs layers) were further cultured at 37°C with 5% CO(2), 95% air atmosphere, and high humidity for 24-48 h to investigate their morphological changes after hormonal induction. For the pCOCs cultured without hormonal induction, the CCs were still round in shape and remained in contact with an oocyte via a process of granular end point sticking into the zona pellucida. In contrast, for the hormone supplemented groups, morphological alteration of pCOCs were seen after culture of 24-48 h. The CCs shape was changed from round into elongated or columnar in an opposite direction from an oocyte as well as no communication between microvilli of CCs observed. This led into ceasing of OMI secretion. Therefore, changes of CCs morphology were a sign of the beginning of oocyte maturation. Further study is to characterize the granular substance at the end point of CCs that stick into the zona pellucida.  相似文献
