Decisions concerning a project’s expedition, traditionally involved considerations regarding time and cost tradeoff. It was recently suggested that the quality of a project should also be taken into considerations. In this paper, we propose a meta-heuristic solution procedure for the discrete time, cost and quality tradeoff problem. This problem involves the scheduling of project activities in order to minimize the total cost of the project while maximizing the quality of the project and also meeting a given deadline. We apply a so called electromagnetic scatter search to solve this problem. In this process, we initially generate a population of feasible solutions. In so doing, we use frequency memory to well sample the feasible region. A number of these solutions are then selected and improved locally. The improved solutions are then combined to generate new set of solutions. The combination process utilizes attraction–repulsion mechanisms borrowed from the electromagnetism theory. The whole process is stopped when no significant improvement in the set of solutions are observed. The validity of the proposed solution procedure is demonstrated, and its applicability is tested on a randomly generated large and complex problem having 19,900 activities.  相似文献

3,4-Diformyl-2,5-dimethylpyrrole (1) reacts with ,ω-diamino-alkanes, NH2(CH2)nNH2t' to form either the potentially tautomeric 2:2 macrocyclic adduct (7a) (8), when N = 2, or the potentially tautomeric 1:1 bicyclic adduct (18) (19), when N = 4, 5, 6, and 12. 1H and 13C N.m.r. spectral data indicate that the 2-azafulvene structures predominate for both types of cycloadducts. Benzo[b][1,4]oxazines have been synthesized in good to excellent yields in the presence of the ionic liquid 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide [bmim]Br under relatively mild conditions without any added catalyst, The method offers the advantages of good yields and short reaction times, and the ionic liquid can be easily separated from the product and reused.  相似文献

Experimental solubilities of diazepam in binary and ternary solvents of polyethylene glycols 200 and 400 with N-methyl pyrrolidone and water at T = 298.2 K are reported. The Jouyban–Acree model was used to fit solubility data of diazepam in the binary and ternary solvent mixtures (106 data points) in which the overall mean relative deviations (OMRD %) is 13.1 % and the prediction OMRD % is 31.7 %. The combined version of the Jouyban–Acree model with Hansen solubility parameters was used for fitting and predicting the solubility data and the OMRDs % are 10.0 and 20.8 %, respectively. Also, the previously proposed trained versions of the Jouyban–Acree model were used for predicting the reported data in this work and all results are listed in the tables. The density of the solute-free solvent mixtures were measured and employed to calculate the constants of the Jouyban–Acree model and then the densities of the saturated solutions were predicted.  相似文献

Here, we present a method to synthesize expandable spherical polystyrene beads containing well-dispersed water microdroplets. The beads, 2–3 mm in diameter, were prepared through surfactant-free Pickering emulsion polymerization in water-in-oil-in-water (w/o/w) system using cross-linked starch nanoparticles (CSTN) as emulsifier. The CSTNs were in situ surface-modified by styrene maleic anhydride copolymer as confirmed by infrared spectroscopy and contact angle analysis. The entrapped water microdroplets with the average size of 3–4 μm were shown to be surrounded by a dense layer of the CSTN. The number droplet density as well as water encapsulation efficiency in the polystyrene beads increased with the CSTN concentration. Furthermore, regardless of CSTN content, all samples exhibited high encapsulation stability of over 68 % after 3 months. These characteristics along with good expansion behavior suggest the synthesized beads as expandable polystyrene containing water as a green blowing agent.  相似文献

The most pressing challenges for light-driven hydrogel actuators include reliance on UV light, slow response, poor mechanical properties, and limited functionalities. Now, a supramolecular design strategy is used to address these issues. Key is the use of a benzylimine-functionalized anthracene group, which red-shifts the absorption into the visible region and also stabilizes the supramolecular network through π–π interactions. Acid–ether hydrogen bonds are incorporated for energy dissipation under mechanical deformation and maintaining hydrophilicity of the network. This double-crosslinked supramolecular hydrogel developed via a simple synthesis exhibits a unique combination of high strength, rapid self-healing, and fast visible-light-driven shape morphing both in the wet and dry state. As all of the interactions are dynamic, the design enables the structures to be recycled and reprogrammed into different 3D objects.  相似文献
