The origins of the oxygen atoms in 1,7-dioxaspiro[5.5]undecane (1) and hydroxyspiroacetal (2) from Bactrocera cacuminata, and in 2,8-dimethyl-1,7-dioxaspiro[5.5]undecane (3) and hydroxyspiroacetal (4) from B. cucumis, have been investigated by incorporation studies from both [(18)O(2)]-dioxygen and [(18)O]-water. Combined GC-MS examination and high-field NMR analysis have demonstrated that all oxygen atoms in 1 and 2 from B. cacuminata are dioxygen derived, but in contrast, the spiroacetals 3 and 4 from B. cucumis incorporate one ring oxygen from water and one ring oxygen (and the hydroxyl oxygen in 4) from [(18)O(2)]-dioxygen. These results reveal not only the generality of monoxygenase mediation of spiroacetal formation in Bactrocera sp., but also an unexpected complexity in their biosynthesis. A general paradigm accommodating these and other observations is presented.  相似文献

The cytochromes P450 are hemoproteins that catalyze a range of oxidative C?H functionalization reactions, including aliphatic and aromatic hydroxylation. These transformations are important in a range of biological contexts, including biosynthesis and xenobiotic biodegradation. Much work has been carried out on the mechanism of aliphatic hydroxylation, implicating hydrogen atom abstraction, but aromatic hydroxylation is postulated to proceed differently. One mechanism invokes as the key intermediate an arene oxide (and/or its oxepin tautomer). Conclusive isolation of this intermediate has remained elusive and, currently, direct formation of phenols from a Meisenheimer intermediate is believed to be favored. We report here the identification of a P450 [P450cam (CYP101A1) and P450cin (CYP176A1)]‐generated arene oxide as a product of in vitro oxidation of tert‐butylbenzene. Computations (CBS‐QB3) predict that the arene oxide and oxepin have similar stabilities to other arene oxides/oxepins implicated (but not detected) in P450‐mediated transformations, suggesting that arene oxides can be unstable terminal products of P450‐catalyzed aromatic oxidation that can explain the origin of some observed metabolites.  相似文献

Calorimetry was applied to follow the hydration of special cement mixtures exhibiting expansion or shrinkage compensation. The standard, common cements show generally less or more visible shrinkage on setting and hardening but mixed with and expansive agent, usually of aluminate and sulfate nature, they can exhibit the increase of volume. The calcium aluminate cement CAC 40 was ground together with special sulfate–lime sinter to produce an expansive additive to Portland cement (CEM I 42.5R). The expansive additive in the environment of hydrating cement transforms into ettringite at “right time” to give expansion before the final setting and hardening takes place. In the experiments the proportions of components of expansive mixture and basic cement were variable. The rate of hydration versus time for common cements is commonly known and reflects the moderate setting and early hardening during the first days after mixing with water (two peaks and the induction period between them). The aim of measurements presented in this study was to show the course of heat evolution curve and the heat evolved values, equivalent to the acceleration/retardation of hydration, in case of the paste with the expansive mixture, as well as the pastes produced from Portland cement and the components of expansive additives added in variable proportions. It was possible to see how the calorimetric curve and consequently the hydration process itself declines from the controlled setting/hardening. These measurements were supplied by the examples of phase composition studies by XRD.  相似文献

The point defect diagrams in nickel oxide Ni1 - dO {\hbox{N}}{{\hbox{i}}_{{1} - \delta }}{\hbox{O}} , pure and doped with M3+ and M+ metal ions, taking into consideration all of the types of defects in the cation sublattice, are presented in this work. A new method was used for the calculations of the diagrams. This method is based on the derived relations between the standard Gibbs energies of the formation of nickel vacancies and the intrinsic ionic and electronic defects. It also uses the experimental values of the deviation from the stoichiometry. The calculations were performed using the results of studies obtained by many authors in the temperature range of 1,173–1,673 K.  相似文献

Electrical conductivity and thermoelectric power measurements (77–300K) of both the pure and electrochemically doped with lithium Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8 system, are presented. Clear correlation between transport and electrochemical properties of LixBi2Sr2CaCu2O8 was shown.  相似文献

Rhodium- and copper-catalyzed methylenation reactions with trimethylsilyldiazomethane, triphenylphosphine, and 2-propanol were used to react chemoselectively with aldehydes, alkoxymethylketones, and trifluoromethylketones in substrates also containing a less reactive carbonyl group. Terminal alkenes were obtained in high yields, and no protecting group was necessary in the methylenation process.  相似文献
