The hydrothermal crystallization of X-type zeolite with a Si/Al ratio of 1.15 was achieved from the Na(2)O-Al(2)O(3)-SiO(2)-H(2)O system at 368 K under static conditions. The post-synthesis modification was carried out by a conventional ion-exchange technique to obtain K(+)-, Rb(+)-, and Cs(+)-exchanged samples with different degrees of exchange. All the samples were characterized using chemical analysis, IR, SEM, powder XRD, low-temperature nitrogen adsorption, and equilibrium sorption uptakes of different probe molecules. The relative intensities of the XRD peaks of cation-exchanged zeolite were found to be affected to different extents, depending on the nature and the concentration of nonframework cationic size, without any shift in the positions of reflection. The sorptive properties of the K-, Rb-, and Cs-exchanged samples were studied using nitrogen, water, and different C(6) hydrocarbons including bulkier benzene derivative 1,3,5-trimethylbenzene (TMB) as probe molecules. The trend observed in chemical potential estimated as a function of nitrogen coverage indicates different sorption selectivity because of differences in the cationic size and population. Sorption uptake kinetics for probe molecules such as water, n-hexane, cyclohexane, benzene, and TMB were also studied. The samples with higher degrees of exchange and/or cationic size have shown a decrease in hydrophilic character due to the formation of irregular networks of water molecules connected with preadsorbed water molecules, framework oxygen ions, and nonframework cations. Among C(6) hydrocarbons including TMB, the benzene molecule is found to be the most promising probe for the estimation of openness of structure and surface heterogeneity as well. Crystalline gallosilicates with a pentasil (MFI) framework containing Ga3+ in lattice positions were synthesised. The kinetic features of the hydrothermal system containing triethyl-n-butylammonium cations (TEBA)+ as template in the gel system have been investigated. The gallosilicate products were characterized by XRD, framework-IR, TG/DTA,29Si and71Ga MASNMR and sorption measurements using standard techniques.

A series of rare earth zeolites of types X and Y were prepared by cation exchange. Thermal analysis curves (TG/DTA) were employed to estimate the structural changes in the zeolite framework. Analogous investigations were carried out by independent methods such as XRD and IR spectroscopy. The results indicate increased thermal stability on the replacement of sodium by rare earth. Partial replacement of rare earth by ammonium/hydrogen enhances the thermal stability. The type Y zeolites are more stable than those of X type.
Zusammenfassung Eine Reihe von Ionen der Seltenen Erdmetalle enthaltenden Zeolithen des Typs X und Y wurden durch Ionenaustausch hergestellt. Thermoanalytische Kurven (TG/DTA) wurden zur Beurteilung der strukturellen Veränderungen des Zeolithgitters herangezogen. Analoge Untersuchungen wurden mit unabhängigen Methoden (XRD und IR-Spektroskopie) ausgeführt. Es wurde festgestellt, daß ein Ersatz der Natriumionen durch Ionen der Seltenen Erdmetalle zu einer Erhöhung der thermischen Stabilität führt. Ein teilweiser Ersatz der Seltenen Erdmetallionen durch Ammonium-/Wasserstoffionen erhöht die thermische Stabilität. Zeolithe des Typs Y sind stabiler als die des X-Typs.

A complex of tenoxicam with-cyclodextrin was prepared by using co-grinding and freeze drying methods. The resulting products were studied by the solubility method, ultraviolet and infrared spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry and X-ray diffractometry. The dissolution behaviour of the products was also examined. The dissolution rate of the co-ground and freeze-dried products was faster than that of the pure drug and the physical mixture of drug and-cyclodextrin. The enhanced dissolution rate of the products might be attributed to the amorphous state, the increased wettability of the drug and the inclusion complex formation.  相似文献

A high silica (SiO2/Ga2O3 = 42) crystalline mordenite containing gallium (III) in framework positions has been prepared by hydrothermal crystallization at 413 K in the presence of tetraethylammonium bromide. Evidence for the presence of framework gallium in the mordenite lattice is obtained from chemical analysis, XRD, framework IR, solid state MASNMR, thermoanalytical studies, sorption and catalytic activity studies. Chemical analysis and NMR data indicate the absence of significant amounts of aluminium (SiO2/Al2O3 > 2400). An increase in the interplanar spacing and unit cell volume as well as a shift to lower wavenumbers of framework vibrations occurs on gallium incorporation in the mordenite lattice. Ga-mordenite exhibited significant ion exchange capacity. The gallium analogue of mordenite exhibited significant catalytic activity and shape selectivity in the isomerization reaction ofm-xylene.NCL communication No. 5317.  相似文献

The parent NaX and KL samples were prepared by hydrothermal crystallization and their corresponding K- and Na-exchanged forms were obtained by post-synthesis modification by conventional ion-exchange technique. NaX, NaKX, KL and NaKL samples were characterized by powder XRD, IR, low temperature nitrogen adsorption and chemical analyses. Their sorption uptake behaviour has been investigated by gravimetric method. The kinetics of sorption using different sorbate probe molecules such as water, benzene and n-hexane was measured at 298 K, at P/P 0 = 0.5 for 90 minutes. All the results obtained were discussed in terms of the compositional and structural variations of the adsorbents. Lack of high dimensionality of the pore system, less openness in structure, low average framework oxygen charge and less number of accessible nonframework cations are some of the prominent factors which has resulted in reduced hydro- and organo-philicity in LTL type zeolites as compared to X-type. The size and concentration of the accessible nonframework cations were also found to influence the sorptive properties of these aluminous large pore zeolites. Among all the probe molecules, n-hexane was found to be as a promising probe for differentiating the structural peculiarities especially dimensionality of the pore system.  相似文献

The changes in the physicochemical properties of a series of faujasite type X zeolites cation exchanged with K+, Rb+ and Cs+ have been studied by XRD, IR, thermoanalytical methods and sorption measurements. As a consequence of the enhanced scattering of X-rays by larger alkali metal cations, the percent relative intensity of the XRD peaks of cation exchanged zeolites was found to have decreased considerably. The framework IR spectra also showed analogous changes. The alkali metal exchange was found to enhance the thermal stability of the parent zeolite. The available void volume and specific surface area (obtained by low temperature nitrogen sorption) also decreased with the increase in the degree of exchange and cationic size. Equilibrium sorption capacities (298 K andP/P 0=0.5) for water,n-hexane, cyclohexane and 1,3,5-trimethylbenzene also exhibited the same trend.NCL communication no. 6056.  相似文献

The crystalline isomorphs of-zeolite containing boron or gallium in the framework positions have been synthesized and the products characterized by comparing them with Al- zeolite. Evidence for the presence of B or Ga in the zeolite lattice framework has been confirmed by spectroscopic (XRD, IR and29Si,27Al and11B MASNMR), DTA/TG, ion exchange, sorption and catalytic activity results. Chemical analysis and NMR confirm the absence of any significant amount of Al in the zeolite (SiO2/Al2O3=2000). The XRD pattern of the as-synthesized B- and Ga- compounds matched well with that of Al- zeolite. Lattice B and Ga leads to a change in the X-rayd values. Framework and bridging hydroxyl stretching IR bands of-zeolite are shifted due to incorporation of gallium and boron into the zeolitic framework. MASNMR spectra of11B and29Si also suggest the presence of tetrahedrally coordinated B(III) or Ga(III) ions in the-zeolite framework. B and Ga-zeolites exhibit significant ion exchange capacity and catalytic activity in them-xylene isomerization reaction. The shifts in the IR bands towards higher frequency in B- and lower frequency in Ga-, the observed ion exchange capacities and catalytic properties, indicate the presence of B3+ or Ga3+ ions in the framework of-zeolite.  相似文献

The main aim of this study was to synthesis of poly (lactic acid) (PLA)‐graft‐glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) as well as its influence on the properties of PLA/banana fiber biocomposites. PLA‐graft‐GMA graft copolymer (GC) was synthesized by melt blending PLA with GMA using benzoyl peroxide and dicumyl peroxide as initiators. Graft copolymerization was confirmed by FTIR and 1H‐NMR spectroscopic studies. PLA/silane treated banana fiber (SiB) biocomposites with various GC concentrations were prepared by melt blending followed by injection molding techniques. The influence of GC content on the mechanical, thermal and moisture resistance properties of the composite was investigated. The addition of 15 wt% GC content in the biocomposite provided optimum tensile and flexural strength, which is attributed to the greater compatibility between fiber and PLA matrix. The thermal properties of biocomposites have been evaluated using thermogravimetric analysis which provided evidence of improved interfacial adhesion between SiB and PLA by the addition of GC. Additionally, GC enhanced the moisture absorption resistance of biocomposites. These results indicated that GC is indeed a good candidate as a compatibilizing agent to improve the compatibility in PLA/fiber biocomposites. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献
