4-Amino-6-aryl-2,2-dialkyl-5-cyano-1,3-dithia-4-cyclohexenes react with pyridinium ylides in thermodynamically controlled conditions with the formation of 4-aryl-2-oxo-thioxo)-3-(1-pyridino)-5-cyano-3,4-trans-1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyridine-6-thiolates. Arylidenecyanothioacetamides act as intermediates of this recyclization, and the corresponding pyridine-6-thiolates were obtained from them by an independent method. Substituted pyrido,[3',2':4,5]thieno[3,2-b]pyndines were obtained by the reaction of 3-amino-2-benzoylthieno [2,3-b]pyridines with malononitrile and the reaction of 3-cyanopyridine-2(IH)-thiones with 2-aryl-3-bromo-I,I-dicyanopropene. 2-Amino-4-(4-bromophenyl)-7, 9-dimethyl-3-cyanopyrido [3',2':4,5]thieno[3, 2-b]-pyridine was used for the synthesis of a derivative of pyrido[3",2":4', 5']thieno[2',3':5,6]pyrido[2,3-d]-pyrimidine. The structure of the product of interaction of the sodium salt of 1, 2, S-trimethyl-3 formylpiperid-4-one with cyanothioacetamide was specified.
