Emission spectra of three Cd0.6Mn0.4Te/Cd0.5Mg0.5Te superlattices with Cd0.6Mn0.4Te quantum-well (QW) widths of 7, 13, and 26 monolayers, respectively, and the same thickness (46 monolayers) of the Cd0.5Mg0.5Te barriers have been studied. The QW width affects the shape and spectral position of the Mn2+ intracenter luminescence (IL) band as a result of the crystal field being dependent on the position of the manganese ion with respect to the interface. Measured in identical experimental conditions, the exciton luminescence as compared to the IL is substantially higher in intensity in a QW than in a bulk CdMnTe crystal. Some samples of superlattices and bulk crystals exhibit, in addition to the conventional IL band near 2.0 eV, a weaker band at about 1.45 eV. This band apparently derives from intracenter transitions in the Mn2+ ions in the regions where the crystal lattice has the rock-salt rather than the conventional zinc blende structure.  相似文献

Mechanisms of orientation for the solutions of polyacrylonitrile synthesized under conditions of radical and anionic polymerization were studied. The effect of the fractal-matrix structuring agent developed by the AIRES foundation on the correlation parameters of the solution density and average squared fluctuation polarizability, which can be used to determine how the supramolecular structure changes by “self-orientation” and “induced orientation” mechanisms, was analyzed.  相似文献

The influence of oxygen desorption on the photoluminescence of zinc oxide has been investigated. Photodesorption and thermal desorption of oxygen have been controlled using mass spectrometry. It has been found that the removal of oxygen from the ZnO surface leads to a manifold increase in the exciton photoluminescence intensity. The process has a reversible character. The mechanism of increase in the exciton luminescence intensity of ZnO during the oxygen desorption has been discussed.  相似文献

The emission spectra of Zn1?x Mn x Te/Zn0.6Mg0.4Te and Cd1?x Mn x Te/Cd0.5Mg0.5Te quantum-well structures with different manganese concentrations and quantum-well widths are studied at excitation power densities ranging from 105 to 107 W cm?2. Under strong optical pumping, intracenter luminescence of Mn2+ ions degrades as a result of the interaction of excited managanese ions with high-density excitons. This process is accompanied by a strong broadening of the emission band of quantum-well excitons due to the exciton-exciton interaction and saturation of the exciton ground state. Under pumping at a power density of 105 W cm?2, stimulated emission of quantum-well excitons arises in CdTe/Cd0.5Mg0.5Te. The luminescence kinetics of the quantum-well and barrier excitons is investigated with a high temporal resolution. The effect of the quantum-well width and the managanese concentration on the kinetics and band shape of the Mn2+ intracenter luminescence characterized by the contribution of the manganese interface ions is determined.  相似文献

The optical and electrical properties of silicon-doped epitaxial gallium nitride layers grown on sapphire have been studied. The studies have been performed over a wide range of silicon concentrations on each side of the Mott transition. The critical concentrations of Si atoms corresponding to the formation of an impurity band in gallium nitride (~2.5 × 1018 cm?3) and to the overlap of the impurity band with the conduction band (~2 × 1019 cm?3) have been refined. The maximum of the photoluminescence spectrum shifts nonmonotonically with increasing doping level. This shift is determined by two factors: (1) an increase in the exchange interaction leading to a decrease in the energy gap width and (2) a change in the radiation mechanism as the donor concentration increases. The temperature dependence of the exciton luminescence with participating optical phonons has been studied. The energies of phonon-plasmon modes in GaN: Si layers with different silicon concentrations have been measured using Raman spectroscopy.  相似文献

The squared dipole moments (P 0R )2 of vibronic transitions caused by vibronic-spin-orbit coupling along the coordinates of out-of-plane vibration modes R were calculated for the triplet ππ* electronic states (with u and g types of orbital symmetry) in a 1,3,6,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (αβTCDD) molecule. Special features of distribution (P 0R )2 over R related to transitions from various sublevels of triplet states are ascertained. The obtained data made it possible to infer that the observed fine-structure phosphorescence spectrum of an αβTCDD solid solution corresponded to the 3 A g S 0 and to eliminate a certain ambiguity in interpreting the vibronic structure of this spectrum.  相似文献

The results of an experimental and theoretical investigation of strong turbulence produced by an external rf field in the plasma of a beam-plasma discharge are presented. The modulation instability of a rf electric field, perpendicular to a constant magnetic field, in the frequency range between the lower-hybrid and ionic Langmuir frequencies, has been investigated.
