Inclusion of transverse quark momenta in the quark-gluon string model

The dependence of distribution functions of quarks, antiquarks, diquarks and their fragmentation into hadrons on the transverse momentumk _t is discussed in the frame of the quark-gluon string model. We then discuss the division ofk _t between 2n-quark-antiquark chains, orn-pomeron showers. Hadron and hadron-nuclear processesp?p,p?A,K ⁺?p,K ⁺?A are analysed. A strong dependence of the observed values on the numbern is derived by this method, which is of special importance for the analysis of hadron-nucleus collisions. Our method is compared with the regulark _t division method.     

Phosphorylation of Dienyl Diprenoid Alcohols

Abstract

The reactions of geraniol, nerol, and linalool with N,N-diethylamido O,O-propylenephosphite and diethyl chlorophosphite were studied. On the basis of these studies, new dienyl diprenoid phosphite esters were obtained.

The results of author's research into the thiophosphorylating ability of 1,3,2⁵,4⁵-dithiadiphosphetane 2,4-disulfides in reactions with Group II, IV, V, and VI p-element derivatives containing E-X bonds (X = O, S, N) are summarized. New syntheses of organic phosphorus-sulfur compounds with P(S)SE (E = B, Al, C, Si, Ge, Sn, Ph, P, As, Sb, Bi, S) structural fragments are developed. Structural peculiarities and spectral and chemical properties of a series of representatives of these classes of organophosphorus compounds are discussed.     

Reactions of trifluoroacetyl isocyanate with arylsulfamides

The reaction of trifluoroacetyl isocyanate with arylsulfamides gives N-trifluoroacetyl-N -arylsulfonylureas and 1-arylsulfonyl-1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6(1H,3H,5H)-triones in 10–15% yield.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Seriya Khimicheskaya, No. 9, pp. 2151–2153, September, 1990.     

Chiral Salts of Phosphorus Dithioacids Based on Quinine

Reactions of quinine with dithioacids based on (1R)-endo-(+)-fenchol, (1S)-endo-(–)-borneol, and (S)-(–)-menthol have afforded optically active quinine salts. Chiral diquinine salts have been obtained in the reactions of quinine with bisthiophosphonic acids based on triethylene glycol and resorcinol.
