Application of the oxidative modification of sulfate kraft lignin with sodium periodate under mild conditions is suggested in order to obtain a sorbent for detoxication of spillage places of rocket fuels based on 1,1-dimethylhydrazine and to purify wastewaters containing this compound. It was found that processing with the periodate at a temperature of 55°C for 20 h results in a more than twofold increase in the content of carbonyl and quinone groups in a lignin preparation and a rise in its polydispersity due to the appearance of a macromolecular condensed fraction and a threefold increase in the sorption capacity for 1,1-dimethylhydrazine. The sorbent can bind 6.7% of 1,1-dimethylhydrazine and substantially surpasses in this parameter other lignin-based sorbents. It was shown that the firm chemical binding of hydrazines hinders desorption of the highly toxic rocket propellant and products of its oxidative transformation from the surface of lignin both into solution and into the vapor phase, thereby providing safe handling of the spent sorbent.  相似文献

The sorption of [Fe(CN)6]3? and [Fe(CN)6]4? anions on the surface of Fe(III), Cr(III), and Zr(IV) oxyhydroxide hydrogels at various pH values of hydrogel precipitation from solutions without a support electrolyte and from NaCl and Na2SO4 solutions with an ionic strength of 0.5 was studied. It was found that isotherms of sorption of [Fe(CN)6]3? and [Fe(CN)6]4? anions from solutions without a support electrolyte and from NaCl solutions and those of sorption of [Fe(CN)6]4? from Na2SO4 solutions are described by the Langmuir equation. It was established that the sulfate background suppresses the sorption of [Fe(CN)6]3? on Fe(III) and Zr(IV) oxyhydroxides. Both anions are sorbed only when the surface of the oxyhydroxides is charged positively; the Langmuir equation parameters A max and K tend to decrease to the point of zero charge as the pH value of oxyhydroxide precipitation increases. An electrostatic mechanism of the sorption of [Fe(CN)6]3? and [Fe(CN)6]4? anions was suggested.  相似文献

Generalizations are made on the effect of the nature of a precursor (the original salt of a metal) on the sorption activity of hydrogels of oxidehydroxides (OHes) towards oxalate ions using the example of an OH obtained by the alkaline hydrolysis of chloride, perchlorate, and sulfate of Fe(III); chloride, sulfate, and nitrate of Al; and nitrate of Zr(IV). It is established that the sorption of C2O 4 2? on the studied OHes is described by the Langmuir equation. We find that the sorption activity depends on the nature of the precursor: Al2(SO4)3 > Al(NO3)3 > AlCl3 > ZrO(NO3)2 > Fe2(SO4)3 > FeCl3 > Fe(ClO4)3.  相似文献

The sorption of anions H2PO4 , HPO4 2−, PO4 3−, [Fe(CN)6]3−, and [Fe(CN)6]4− from aqueous solutions on the surface of FeIII and ZrIV oxyhydroxide hydrogels freshly precipitated at pH 4–13 was studied. The region of sorbate concentrations was from 0.00025 to 0.06 mol L−1. The plots of the anion uptakes vs. their equilibrium concentrations are represented by isotherms of the first type, which are well described by the Langmuir equation if the quantity of the amount adsorbed is expressed as mol-site g−1. The maximum uptakes and constants of the Langmuir equation were calculated. The phosphate anions occupy the same number of sorption sites on the sorbents precipitated at different pH. The average specific content of sorption sites for the ferro- and zirconogels in the metastability period is independent of the pH of their precipitation, being 3.1·10−3 and 3.2·10−3 mol-site g−1, respectively. The [Fe(CN)6]3− and [Fe(CN)6]4− anions are sorbed only on the positively charged sites of the hydrogels and occupy not more than 2·10 mol-site g−1 in the studied interval of pH of precipitation. __________ Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. Sorption properties with respect to the chromate ions of ferro- and alumogels prepared from Fe(III) and aluminum sulfates, and the composition of oxyhydroxides (OH), are studied. It is determined that the sorption values of chromate ions on ferrogels and alumogels (with NaCl) are notably higher than those on OH prepared from other precursors. It is shown that the sorption of CrO 4 2? on alumogels with Na2SO4 is almost completely inhibited. It is found that gels retain substantial amounts of sulfate ions during precipitation from precursor solutions, while alumogels retain substantially more than ferrogels. The sorption of SO4-gels is explained from the viewpoint of their composition and interaction with Na2SO4 solution. The competitive sorption of chromate and phosphate ions is studied and it is demonstrated that phosphate ions completely inhibit the sorption of chromate ions at comparable concentrations.  相似文献
