The authors describe an electrochemical approach for the preparation of a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) modified with graphene oxide and silver nanodentrites (AgNDs). The coating was obtained by using an aqueous solution containing silver nitrate, phosphate and ammonia. The phosphate anions act as a scaffold for the improved deposition of AgNDs. The effects of deposition potential and time and concentration of electrolyte on the formation of the AgNDs were optimized. The modified GCE displays good electrocatalytic activity towards the oxidation of dissolved hydrazine. The electron transfer coefficient and diffusion coefficient are 0.60 and 4.64 × 10?5 cm2 s?1 respectively. The electrode exhibits a linear response over the 100 nM to 670 μM hydrazine concentration range and a detection limit (LOD) of 33 nM. The sensitivity of the modified electrode is 2077 μA mM?1 cm?2 at a typical working voltage of 0.1 V (vs Ag/AgCl). This LOD is much lower than that of the allowable concentration of hydrazine in drinking water as defined by the US EPA and the WHO. 相似文献

In this study, stable and homogenous thin films of multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were obtained on conducting surface
using ciprofloxacin (CF, fluoroquinolone antibiotic) as an effective-dispersing agent. Further, MWCNTs/CF film modified electrodes
(glassy carbon and indium tin oxide-coated glass electrode) are used successfully to study the direct electrochemistry of
proteins. Here, cytochrome C (Cyt-C) was used as a model protein for investigation. A MWCNTs/CF film modified electrode was
used as a biocompatible material for immobilization of Cyt-C from a neutral buffer solution (pH 7.2) using cyclic voltammetry
(CV). Interestingly, Cyt-C retained its native state on the MWCNTs/CF film. The Cyt-C adsorbed MWCNTs/CF film was characterized
by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), UV–visible spectrophotometry (UV-vis) and CV. SEM images showed the evidence for the
adsorption of Cyt-C on the MWCNTs/CF film, and UV–vis spectrum confirmed that Cyt-C was in its native state on MWCNTs/CF film.
Using CV, it was found that the electrochemical signal of Cyt-C was highly stable in the neutral buffer solution and its redox
peak potential was pH dependent. The formal potential (−0.27 V) and electron transfer rate constant (13 ± 1 s−1) were calculated for Cyt-C on MWCNTs/CF film modified electrode. A potential application of the Cyt-C/MWCNTs/CF electrode
as a biosensor to monitor H2O2 has been investigated. The steady-state current response increases linearly with H2O2 concentration from 2 × 10−6 to 7.8 × 10−5 M. The detection limit for determination of H2O2 has been found to be 1.0 × 10−6 M (S/N = 3). Thus, Cyt-C/MWCNTs/CF film modified electrode can be used as a biosensing material for sensor applications. 相似文献

The mixing of (Ni0.38Cu0.12Zn0.50)Fe2O4 powders with Bi2O3 was performed using the solid-state mixing as well as wet chemical coating processes such as ammonia precipitation coating, urea precipitation coating, and solution coating. Ferrites prepared from the wet chemical coating processes could be densified at a lower sintering temperature without significant impact on the microstructural evolution compared with that prepared by solid-state mixing. In addition, samples prepared from the wet chemical coating process have a higher Br and Bs and a lower Hc compared with that from solid-state mixing. Considering both the effects of sintering temperature and sintered density (>95% T.D.), ferrites with 1.5 wt% Bi2O3 addition by ammonia precipitation coating sintered at 900°C can provide the best permeability and quality factor (191 and 68.2, respectively) among all the cases studied. 相似文献

The relations among the densification, microstructural evolution, and microwave dielectric properties of the (1−x)CaTiO3-xLaGaO3 ceramics with x=0.34 and 0.36 were investigated in this study. The results indicated that (1−x)CaTiO3−xLaGaO3 ceramics can be densified at 1300 °C with at least 97% of the theoretical value. The ceramics reported an orthorhombic perovskite structure, and no other detectable phases were found. Both εr and Q×f values can be improved by slowing the cooling rate during sintering. The εr and Q×f values of the 0.64CaTiO3-0.36LaGaO3 ceramics at cooling rates of >10 °C/min and 0.1 °C/min are 48.1 and 27,500 and 48.7 and 38,000, respectively. The higher densification obtained at a slower cooling rate plays an important role in improving the microwave dielectric properties. 相似文献

Electrochemical properties of myoglobin deposited on multi-walled carbon nanotube/ciprofloxacin film
We report the direct electrochemical and electrocatalytic properties of myoglobin (MB) on a multi-walled carbon nanotube/ciprofloxacin (MWCNT/CF) film-modified electrode. A highly homogeneous MWCNT thin-film was prepared on an electrode surface using ciprofloxacin (CF) as a dispersing agent. MB was then electrochemically deposited onto the MWCNT/CF-modified electrode. The MB/MWCNT/CF film was characterized by scanning electron microscopy and UV-visible spectroscopy (UV-vis). UV-vis spectra confirmed that MB retained its original state on the MWCNT/CF film. Direct electrochemical properties of MB on the MWCNT/CF film were investigated by cyclic voltammetry. The formal potential and electron transfer rate constant were evaluated in pH 7.2 buffer solution as -0.327V and 300s(-1), respectively. In addition, the MB/MWCNT/CF-modified electrode showed excellent electrocatalytic properties for the reduction of hydrogen peroxide (H(2)O(2)). The MB/MWCNT/CF-modified electrode was used for the detection of H(2)O(2) at concentrations from 1×10(-6)M to 7×10(-4)M in pH 7.2 buffer solution. Overall, the MB/MWCNT/CF-modified electrode was very stable and has potential for development as a H(2)O(2) sensor. 相似文献
