Summary A simple sample decomposition and laser fluorimetric determination of uranium at trace level is reported in certain refractory minerals, like ilmenite, rutile, zircon and monazite; environmental samples viz. soil and sediments; industrial waste materials, such as, coal fly ash and red mud. Ilmenite sample is decomposed by heating with ammonium fluoride. Rutile, zircon and monazite minerals are decomposed by fusion using a mixture of potassium bifluoride and sodium fluoride. Environmental and industrial waste materials are brought into solution by treating with a mixture of hydrofluoric and nitric acids. The laser induced fluorimetric determination of uranium is carried out directly in rutile, zircon and in monazite minerals and after separation in other samples. The determination limit was 1 μg . g-1 for ilmenite, soil, sediment, coal fly ash and red mud samples, and it is 5 μg . g-1 for rutile, zircon and monazite. The method is also developed for the optical fluorimetric determination of uranium (determination limit 10 μg . g-1) in ilmenite, rutile, zircon and monazite minerals. The methods are simple, accurate, and precise and they require small quantity of sample and can be applied for the routine analysis.  相似文献

The reaction of chloroethyltrimethylsilylether with 1-methylimidazole furnishes an ionic liquid that undergoes methanolysis to crystalline 2-hydroxyethylimidazolium chloride (crystal structure presented). Conversion to defined hydroxyethylimidazol-2-ylidene nickel complexes failed, but was accomplished with 1-methyl-3-acetophenyl-imidazolium bromide. The bis(NHCO) nickel(II) chelate is formed, rather than a methallylnickel monochelate, but with nickelocene a monochelate NiCp complex was detected. The bulky 1-(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)-3-(2’-phenyl-enolato)-imidazol-2-ylidene allylpalladium chloride was obtained in pure form. Attempts to generate catalysts for ethylene oligomerization by in situ techniques have failed so far whereas PO ligands, comparable by the P-C diagonal relationship, provide active catalysts.   相似文献

Densities, viscosities, refractive indices and ultrasonic velocities of the binary mixtures of acetophenone with ethyl acetate were measured over the entire mole fractions at 303.15, 313.15, and 323.15 K. From the experimental results, excess molar volumes V E, viscosity deviation ????, refractive index deviation ??n D , deviations in isentropic compressibility ???? s and excess intermolecular free length ??L f are calculated. The viscosity values were fitted to the models of Krishnan-Laddha and McAllister. The thermophysical properties under study were fit to the Jouyban-Acree model. The excess values were correlated using Redlich-Kister polynomial equation to obtain their coefficients and standard deviations. The data obtained fitted with the values correlated by the corresponding models very well. The results are interpreted in terms of molecular interactions occurring in the solution.  相似文献

The viscosity values were fitted to the Krishnan-Laddha and McAllister models. The thermophysical properties under study were also fitted to the Jouyban-Acree model. The excess values were correlated using the Redlich-Kister polynomial equation. It was found that, in all cases, the obtained data were correlated very well by the corresponding models. Three‐component stereoselective synthesis of a set of new tetra substituted isoxazolidines from 5‐substi‐tuted 2‐methoxybenzaldehydes, N‐phenylhydroxylamine and 1‐(2‐thienyl)‐3‐arylprop‐2‐en‐1‐ones has been achieved. The effect of microwave irradiation on the reaction under solvent‐free conditions has also been investigated. The effect of polypyrrole (PPy) on the polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)-potassium iodide (KI)-iodine (I2) polymer electrolytes has been investigated and optimized to use in a dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC). The different weight ratios of PVA: PPy (93: 2, 91: 4, 89: 6, 87: 8, and 85: 10 wt%) polymer electrolytes (PE) were prepared by solution casting. Structural, complex formation and surface roughness of the prepared electrolytes was confirmed by X-ray diffraction, FTIR, and atomic force microscopy (AFM) respectively. Conductivity plots of all polymer films showed increasing trend with temperature and concentration of PPy. The activation energy of the optimized system found to be 0.871 kJ mol?1. UV-visible spectrum was adopted to characterize the absorption spectra of the material revealed that increase in the absorbance with increasing PPy content and shifting the absorbance maximum towards lower energy. The indirect band gap decreased from 3.78 to 2.14 eV and direct band gap decreased from 3.88 to 2.71 eV. The EIS analyses revealed the lower charge transfer resistance of 3.029 Ω cm2 at the interface between CE and PE. The excellent performance was observed in the fabricated DSSCs using PVA (85%)/PPy (10%)/KI (5%)/I2 polymer electrolyte with a short-circuit current density of 11.071 mA cm?2, open-circuit voltage of 0.644 V, fill factor of 0.575, and photovoltaic conversion efficiency of 4.09% under the light intensity of 100 mW cm?2. Hence, the PPy content in polymer electrolyte influences the remarkable performance of low-cost DSSC.  相似文献

A new ligand N,N'-bis{3-(2-formyl-4-methyl-phenol)-6-iminopropyl}oxamide (L) and its mono- and binuclear copper(II) complexes have been synthesized and characterized. The ligand shows absorption maxima at 249 and 360 with a weak transition at 455 nm. The ligand was found to be fluorescent and shows an emission maximum at 516 nm on excitation at 360 nm. The electronic spectra of the mono- and binuclear Cu(II) complexes exhibited a d-d transition in the region 520-560 nm characteristic of square planar geometry around Cu(II) ion. The ESR spectrum of the mononuclear complex showed four lines with nuclear hyperfine splitting. The binuclear complex showed a broad ESR spectrum with g=2.10 due to antiferromagnetic interaction between the two Cu(II) ions. The room-temperature magnetic moment values (micro(eff)) for the mono- and binuclear Cu(II) complexes are found to be 1.70 micro(B) and 1.45 micro(B), respectively. The electrochemical studies of the mononuclear Cu(II) complex showed a single irreversible one-electron wave at -0.70 V (E(pc)) and the binuclear Cu(II) complex showed two irreversible one-electron reduction waves at -0.75 V (E(pc)(1)) and -1.27 V (E(pc)(2)) in the cathodic region.  相似文献
