An efficient, convenient and environmentally benign one-pot multicomponent reaction for the preparation of pyrimido[4,5-b]quinoline derivatives as biologically, pharmacologically and antibacte- rially active products has been developed using RuC13.xH20 as a reusable homogenous catalyst. Use of water as a green solvent, purification of products by non-chromatographic methods, reusability of transition metal homogenous catalyst, saving energy by employing multicomponent reactions, short reaction times and high yields, are some of the advantages of this process. 相似文献

In this study, N,N'-di-(2-methylphenyl)malonamide was synthesized and reacted with polyphosphoric acid to afford 8-methyl-4-hydroxyl-2-quinolone. Eight novel azo disperse dyes were then synthesized by linking diazotized p-substituted aniline derivatives with 8-methyl-4-hydroxyl-2-quinolone. The solvatochromism of these azo dyes in various solvents was evaluated. All the compounds were then evaluated for their antibacterial activity against four bacteria, namely, Bacillus subtilis, Micrococcus luteus, Salmonella enterica, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The results showed that some of these compounds have high levels of antibacterial activity. 相似文献

Novel 4,5-diphenyl-1H-imidazol-1-yl-1H-1,2,4-triazole derivatives were synthesized using a facile and highly efficient, one-pot, four-component procedure in the presence of KHSO4 as an acidic catalyst under ultrasonic irradiations in short reaction times (10–25 min) and good to excellent yields (70–96%). The synthesized compounds were screened for their antibacterial activities against Gram-negative (Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa) and Gram-positive (Bacillus subtilis, Micrococcus luteus) bacteria, and their antioxidant activity was also evaluated.
