The double benzannulation of bis‐carbene complexes of chromium with α,ω‐diynes generates [m.n]cyclophanes in which all three rings are generated in a single reaction. This triple annulation process is very flexible allowing for the construction of symmetrical [n.n]cyclophanes and unsymmetrical [m.n]cyclophanes as well as isomers in which the two benzene rings are both meta bridged or both para bridged, and isomers that contain both meta and para bridges. The connectivity patterns of the bridges in the cyclophanes can be controlled by regioselectivity transfer from the bis‐vinyl carbene complexes in which the substitution pattern of the vinyl groups in the carbene complexes dictate the connectivity pattern in the [m.n]cyclophanes. This synthesis of [n.n]cyclophanes is quite flexible with regard to ring size and can be used with tether lengths ranging from n=2 to n=16 and thus to ring sizes with up to 40 member rings. The only limitation to regioselectivity transfer from the carbene complexes to the [m.n]cyclophanes was found in the synthesis of para,para‐cyclophanes with four carbon tethers for which the loss of fidelity occurred with the unexpected formation of meta,para‐cyclophanes.  相似文献

New R 2Ti3Ge4 (R=Dy, Ho and Er) intermetallic compounds have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray diffraction and low temperature ac magnetic susceptibility, electrical resistivity and thermoelectric power measurements were carried out. The compounds crystallize in the parent, Sm5Ge4-type orthorhombic structure (space group Pnma) and lanthanide contraction is observed as one moves along the rare-earth series. The changeover from paramagnetic to antiferromagnetic phase happens at low temperatures and the ordering temperature scales with the de Gennes factor. The electrical resistivity is metallic with a negative curvature above 100 K. Thermopower displays a weak maximum at temperatures less than 50 K signifying the possible phonon and magnon drag effects.  相似文献

Resonant ultrasound spectroscopy was used to measure the elastic constants of bcc Ta0.33V0.67 over the temperature range 3.5–300?K; the results were compared to earlier measurements on C15 TaV2. The temperature dependence of the polycrystalline shear modulus is completely different in the two phases; that of the bcc phase decreases with temperature whereas that of the C15 phases increases in an anomalous fashion. This difference is consistent with a model involving doubly-degenerate levels at the X point of the Brillouin zone in the C15 phase with the Fermi level lying near the doubly degenerate level. This model accounted for the unusual behaviour of the C15 phase. Debye temperatures were determined from the ultrasonic measurements: 295?K for the C15 phase and 315?K for the bcc phase.  相似文献

Allocolchicinoids are analogues of the important antimitotic compound (-)-colchicine 1. A strategy is reported for the synthesis of ring C functionalized allocolchicinoids, which is based on a Diels-Alder reaction-aromatization sequence. This route is complementary to the previously disclosed benzannulation approach involving Fischer carbene complexes and alkynes. Dienes 12 and 14 incorporate the natural substitution pattern on ring A and undergo Diels-Alder reactions with various dienophiles. Subsequent aromatization affords the set of differently functionalized ring C allocolchicinoids 15-19, 23, and 25, with high regioselectively and in moderate to good yields. An intramolecular Diels-Alder reaction-aromatization sequence allows for access to allocolchicinoids with reversed regiochemical introduction of ring C substituents. The equilibria of the atropisomers of 15 and 19 are studied in three NMR solvents. Reactions of the dienes 12 and 14 with DMAD lead to the corresponding cycloadducts, but the subsequent aromatization is complicated. A regioselective Diels-Alder reaction-aromatization sequence is utilized as the key step in the first stereoselective total synthesis of (-)-allocolchicine 2. Asymmetric introduction of hydroxy group at C7 is achieved by the enantioselective reduction of ketone 29. The correct stereochemistry is then established by Mitsunobu inversion reaction using Zn(N(3))(2)-2Py.  相似文献
