The intracavity second-harmonic generation of pulsed chemical oxygen-iodine laser radiation was investigated. A pulsed chemical oxygen-iodine laser with a maximum output energy of 6.14 mJ was used. The second-harmonic output of 0.5 mJ was demonstrated using a lithium iodate crystal. The conversion efficiency of 8% was limited by intracavity losses. Numerical simulation predicts that a conversion efficiency of 75% can be obtained with 1% intracavity losses. 相似文献

Radiative lifetimes for 2≤v′≤44 rovibronic C1Σ+ state levels of NaRb and quenching collision cross-sections with Rb atoms have been directly measured in a thermal cell by
detecting time resolved laser induced fluorescence after pulsed excitation. Many body multipartitioning theory was applied
to calculate C1Σ+-X1Σ+ and C1Σ+-A1Σ+ transition dipole moments. The relevant
ab initio matrix elements were converted to the C1Σ+ state radiative lifetimes. The strong spin-orbit A1Σ+∼ b3Π coupling effect on the total C → A transition probabilities and lifetimes of the C1Σ+ state is discussed. The measured radiative lifetimes show a decrease from 61 to 34 ns as the v′ values increase, the results being in good agreement with calculations. The averaged collisional quenching cross-section
value σ=(3±1)×10-14 cm2 was determined for NaRb (C1Σ+) + Rb collisions from the Stern-Volmer plots. 相似文献

The technique of Raman conversion of sub-100 fs laser pulses based on excitation of active medium by two orthogonally polarized pulses has been developed for Raman lasers with a glass capillary. 52 fs Stokes pulse at the wavelength of 1200 nm has been generated by stimulated Raman scattering of 48 fs Ti:sapphire laser pulse at the wavelength of 800 nm in hydrogen. 13% energy conversion efficiency has been achieved at pulse repetition rate up to 2 kHz. 相似文献
