The optical and spectral characteristics of isotopically enriched Czochralski-grown 40Ca100MoO4 single crystals have been investigated. This material is promising for detecting double neutrinoless β decay. The possibility and the technique of spectrophotometric monitoring of weak residual absorption near the intrinsic luminescence peak of this scintillation material, which is designed for developing new-generation detectors of elementary particles, are considered.  相似文献

The ellipticity and azimuth of light transmitted through an optically active plate and the intensity of this light transmitted through an analyzer are theoretically investigated as functions of the rotation angle of the plate. Relationships describing these parameters are considered. It is demonstrated that, depending on the angle of inclination of the plate, the optical activity can affect the characteristics of the transmitted light differently. A technique for determining the optical activity parameters is proposed from analyzing the relationships for the light intensity. The conoscopic figures of uniaxial and biaxial optically active crystals are described.  相似文献

The matrix Δ suggested by Berreman for optically active crystals of various symmetry classes has been calculated with the use of the Mathematica-4.1 package. It is shown that the eigenvalues of this matrix are the refractive indices, whereas its eigenvectors determine the polarization states of eigenwaves propagating in the crystal. The relation between the components of the gyration tensors obtained on the basis of various constitutive equations is established. The essential differences in the optical activity described on the basis of these equations are also discussed.  相似文献

Different methods have been proposed for the incorporation of a dye, vanadyl tetra-5,14,23,32-phenyl-2,3-naphthalocyanine, into the shells of polyelectrolyte capsules. Capsule preparation conditions have been selected to provide efficient incorporation of the dye and stability of capsules to aggregation. A suspension of the capsules has been irradiated with lasers operating at wavelengths belonging to the near-infrared spectral region. It has been found that the capsules can be disrupted under the irradiation. Continuous and pulsed laser radiations have been shown to have different effects on the capsules.  相似文献

Upon reaction of 2-hydrazino-3, 4, 6-trichloro-S-cyanopyridine with diazomethane, we obtain a betaine system, 1-trimethyl-2-(3,4,6-trichloro-5-cyanopyrid-2 yl)hydrazin-l-io-2-ide, the structure of which has been established by x-ray diffraction. The specific features of polarization of natural waves propagating in crystals near their optical axes have been studied successively in transparent gyrotropic, absorbing, and gyrotropic absorbing crystals of classes 222, 2, 1, m, and mm2. The dependences of the ellipticities of natural waves and the azimuth of polarization of light transmitted through a crystalline plate (the case of normal incidence) on the orientation of the optical-axis plane of the plate axes with respect to the normal to surface are calculated for these crystals. These characteristics are compared for crystals of axial and planal classes with two different orientations of the optical-axis plane with respect to the symmetry elements of crystal.  相似文献
