N1-Hydroxy-2,4,5-trisubstituted imidazoles were synthesized starting from 1,2-diketones. The crystal structure of 4,5-dimethyl-2-(3-nitrophenyl)-1H-imidazol-1-ol has been determined. An unusual intermolecular hydrogen bonding through the association of water molecule has been reported. These imidazole derivatives can be thought of as the organic precursor for the synthesis of zinc oxide nano particles. 相似文献

We report here an experimental study of magnetization of FeNiW alloys at different compositions. We have studied variation of magnetization with temperature (at low external fields) and magnetic field (at low temperatures). The alloy shows para to ferromagnetic transitions across the composition range. We do not find any indication of the spin-glass phase. We have supplemented the experimental work with theoretical analysis using the first-principles tight-binding linear muffin-tin orbitals based augmented space recursion method. Our theoretical estimates of magnetic moment and Curie temperatures agree well with experiment. Our mean-field phase analysis also does not indicate the possibility of a spin-glass phase. 相似文献

A green and facile novel procedure has been developed for the synthesis of Cu2O nanoparticles within a very short reaction time using banana pulp extract as a reducing agent. The synthesized nanoparticles are well characterized by SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope), TEM (Transmission Electron Microscope) and powder XRD (X-ray Diffraction) methods. An environmental benign and highly efficient protocol for the ipso-hydroxylation of aryl and hetero arylboronic acids using bio-fabricated Cu2O nanoparticles as a catalyst and aqueous H2O2 as an oxidant has also been developed. The main advantages of this protocol are the base free reaction condition, reusable and heterogeneous catalytic system, and short reaction time with excellent yields. 相似文献

Some new complexes of tetravalent molybdenum containing acetylacetone have been synthesized by the reaction of acetylacetone with hydrated molybdenum(IV) oxide. Two series of complexes having varied coordination linkages for acetylacetone have been isolated under appropriate conditions. The main aim of the study is to present an evaluation of radon concentration in underground water of Bakreswar and Tantloi geothermal region which is mainly used for drinking purposes of the local people. Water samples were collected from tube-wells at 173 different locations. The radon (222Rn) concentration level was observed to fluctuate widely between 3.3 and 803.8 Bq/l with an average of 106.8 Bq/l. Nearly 42% of the samples had radon concentration above the safe limit of 100 Bq/l recommended by World Health Organisation (WHO) and European Union Commission (EU). Considering the WHO and International Commission on Radiological Protection recommended water consumption rate for adults (730 l/year) the corresponding total annual effective dose of the samples were estimated to assess the probable health risk. Total annual effective dose of the samples were varied between 16.72 and 4079.47 µSv/year with an average value of 541.92 µSv/year. About 95% samples exceed the WHO and EU Commission proposed safe limit of 100 µSv/year. 相似文献

The first decarbonylative insertion of an alkyne through C?H/C?C activation of six‐membered compounds is reported. The Ru‐catalyzed reaction of 3‐hydroxy‐2‐phenyl‐chromones with alkynes works most efficiently in the presence of the ligand PPh3 to provide spiro‐indenebenzofuranones. Unlike previously reported metal‐catalyzed decarbonylative annulation reactions, in the present decarbonylative annulation reaction, the annulation occurs before extrusion of carbon monoxide. 相似文献

The effects of different operational variables on the mechanistic function of laterite in removal of fluoride have been investigated. Thermodynamic parameters such as free energy change, enthalpy, and entropy of the process, as well as the sorption isotherm, were evaluated. The extent of solute removal is determined by initial solute concentration, operational conditions, laterite dose, and solution pH. For a fixed set of experimental conditions, a model equation is developed from which the percent removal corresponding to each load of fluoride is determined. The mechanism of fluoride adsorption is governed by the zero point charge of laterite and follows a first-order rate equation. pH has a vital role influencing the surface characteristics of laterite. To simulate the flow dynamics, fluoride solution was run through a fixed bed column. The pattern of breakthrough curves for different influent fluoride concentration, pH, and column bed height was characterized. The column efficiency was tested from the bed depth-service time model. The elution of the retained fluoride was studied and the effectiveness of column operation was determined by the retention-elution cycles. 相似文献
