Summary 2-Pyridylphenylacetonitrile (ppa) is oxidized by copper(II) halides in 1,2-dichloroethane to 1,2-dicyano-1,2-diphenyl-1,2-di(2-pyridyl)ethane (dcppe), yielding 41 complexes of dcppe with copper(II) dihalide, [CuX2(dcppe)4] (green). Nickel(II) and zinc(II) chlorides react with ppa giving complexes of a general formula [MCl2(ppa)2].Dcppe reacts with copper(II), zinc(II) chlorides and copper(II) bromide yielding complexes of formulae [CuCl2(dcppe)4] (yellow), [ZnCl2(dcppe)2] and [CuBr2(dcppe)]. No reaction is observed with cobalt(II) and nickel(II) chlorides.  相似文献

An experimental study of the thermal decomposition of a β‐hydroxy alkene, 3‐methyl‐3‐buten‐1‐ol, in m‐xylene solution, has been carried out at five different temperatures in the range of 513.15–563.15 K. The temperature dependence of the rate constants for the decomposition of this compound in the corresponding Arrhenius equation is given by ln k (s?1) = (25.65 ± 1.52) ? (17,944 ± 814) (kJ·mol?1T?1. A computational study has been carried out at the M05–2X/6–31+G(d,p) level of theory to calculate the rate constants and the activation parameters by the classical transition state theory. There is a good agreement between the experimental and calculated rate constants and activation Gibbs energies. The bonding characteristics of reactant, transition state, and products have been investigated by the natural bond orbital analysis, which provides the natural atomic charges and the Wiberg bond indices. Based on the results obtained, the mechanism proposed is a one‐step process proceeding through a six‐membered cyclic transition state, being a concerted and slightly asynchronous process. The results have been compared with those obtained previously by us (Struct Chem 2013, 24, 1811–1816) for the thermal decomposition of 3‐buten‐1‐ol, in m‐xylene solution. We can conclude that in the compound studied in this work, 3‐methyl‐3‐buten‐1‐ol, the effect of substitution at position 3 by a weakly activating CH3 group is the stabilization of the transition state formed in the reaction and therefore a small increase in the rate of thermal decomposition.  相似文献

Reactions of benzil bis(thiosemicarbazone), LH(6), with M(NO(3))(2).nH(2)O (M = Zn, Cd, and Ni), in the presence of LiOH.H(2)O, show the versatile behavior of this molecule. The structure of the ligand, with the thiosemicarbazone moieties on opposite sides of the carbon backbone, changes to form complexes by acting as a chelating molecule. Complexes of these metal ions with empirical formula [MLH(4)] were obtained, although they show different molecular structures depending on their coordinating preferences. The zinc complex is the first example of a crystalline coordination polymer in which a bis(thiosemicarbazone) acts as bridging ligand, through a nitrogen atom, giving a 1D polymeric structure. The coordination sphere is formed by the imine nitrogen and sulfur atoms, and the remaining position, in a square-based pyramid, is occupied by an amine group of another ligand. The cadmium derivative shows the same geometry around the metal ion but consists of a dinuclear structure with sulfur atoms acting as a bridge between the metal ions. However, in the nickel complex LH(6) acts as a N(2)S(2) ligand yielding a planar structure for the nickel atom. The ligand and its complexes have been characterized by X-ray crystallography, microanalysis, mass spectrometry, IR, (1)H, and (13)C NMR spectroscopies and for the cadmium complex by (113)Cd NMR in solution and in the solid state.  相似文献

Ferroelectric thin films of strontium bismuth tantalate compositions with Bi/Sr ratios of 2.75 and 2.50 have been produced by deposition of solutions derived from sol-gels followed by crystallization using rapid thermal processing (RTP) at 650 °C. Single-step and two-step processes have been used for the RTP crystallization of the films. Both the composition and the heating process used affect the grain size, grain shape and compositional heterogeneity of the films, acting on their ferroelectric switching behaviour and dielectric properties. Larger and more elongated grains are obtained by crystallization using a single-step process. These films exhibit less slanted hysteresis loops. The combination of the study of the pure-ferroelectric-switching loop and the lambda curves through the application of a Curie–Weiss-like model gives a deeper insight into the influence of film heterogeneity on its ferroelectric properties. The observation of net polarisation without poling in all the films is attributed to the effects of 180° ferroelectric domains.
