The electrochemical reduction of 1-([(4-halophenyl)imino]methyl)-2-naphthols on graphite electrodes was studied using cyclic voltammetry, chronoamperometry, constant-potential coulometry and preparative constant-potential electrolysis techniques. The data revealed that the reduction on graphite was irreversible and followed an EC mechanism. The diffusion coefficients and the number of electrons transferred were determined using the chronoamperometric Cottrell slope and the ultramicro disc Pt-electrode steady-state current. The number of electrons was also determined by bulk electrolysis. The compounds were subjected to constant-potential preparative electrolysis and the electrolysis products were purified and identified by spectroscopic methods. Based on these findings, a mechanism for the electro-reduction process is proposed.  相似文献

In this study, the coverage conditions of mild steel with polypyrrole (PPy) were investigated. It was observed that the surface was passive up to 0.6 V, to the oxidation potential of pyrrole in oxalic acid solution. The PPy coverage was obtained with 0.1 M oxalic acid + 0.2 M pyrrole. A passivity mechanism supported with current potential curves was proposed. Dopamine, rotigotin, ladostigil, and rasagiline analogues 2-amino-4,5,6-trimethoxyindane and 1-amino-5,6,7-trimethoxyindane were synthesized starting from 5,6,7-trimethoxyindan-1-one for the first time with 34% and 45% total yields. α-Carboxylation of indanone, reduction of ketone group with Et3SiH, basic hydrolysis of ester, Curtius reaction of the acid, and addition of BnOH afforded the corresponding carbamate. Pd-C-catalyzed hydrogenolysis of carbamate and deprotonation of amine hydrochloride with NaOH gave the dopamine and rotigotin analogue 2-aminoindane. Reduction of 5,6,7-trimethoxyindan-1-one with NaBH4 afforded the alcohol, which was then converted to the azide derivative via Mitsunobu reaction with diphenylphosphoryl azide; Pd-C catalyzed hydrogenation of the azide to the amine hydrochloride and then deprotonation of the amine hydrochloride with NaOH furnished the ladostigil and rasagiline analogue 1-aminoindane. These amines and BnOH were reacted with CSI to produce sulfamoyl carbamates, which were converted to sulfamides via Pd-C-catalyzed hydrogenolysis reaction with 20% and 25% total yields.  相似文献

We have examined a solution to the FRW model of the Einstein and de Sitter Universe, often termed the standard model of cosmology, using wide values for the normalized cosmic constant (Ω) and spacetime curvature (Ω k ) with proposed values of normalized matter density. These solutions were evaluated using a combination of the third type of elliptical equations and were found to display critical points for redshift z, between 1 and 3, when Ω is positive. These critical points occur at values for normalized cosmic constant higher than those currently thought important, though we find this solution interesting because the Ω term may increase in dominance as the Universe evolves bringing this discontinuity into importance. We also find positive Ωtends towards attractive at values of z which are commonly observed for distant galaxies.  相似文献

A finite difference scheme with fourth order Runge-Kutta method is employed to determine the unsteady state temperature distribution in a plane slab with uniform heat generation. The plane slab is insulated on one face and subjected to convective and radiative cooling at the other face. The plane slab has a uniform initial temperature and the ambient environment as well as the fluid temperatures are assumed to be constant. Heat conduction is considered to be one dimensional. Results are presented in dimensionless charts over a wide range of parameters.

Zusammenfassung Zur Ermittlung der instationären Temperaturverteilung in einer Platte mit gleichförmiger Wärmeerzeugung wird ein Differenzverfahren vierter Ordnung nach Runge-Kutta angewendet. Die ebene Platte ist einseitig isoliert und wird auf der anderen Seite durch Konvektion und Abstrahlung gekühlt. Zu Beginn befindet sich die Platte gleichförmig auf einer bestimmten Anfangstemperatur, die Temperaturen der umgebenden Objekte sowie des Fluids sind ebenfalls konstant. Der Wärmeleitungsvorgang sei eindimensional. Die Ergebnisse sind in dimensionsloser Form für einen weiten Parameterbereich in Diagrammform dargestellt.

We investigated the structural, optical and magnetic properties of Mn-doped zinc oxysulfide films. Zn(O,S) films were deposited by a spray pyrolysis method on glass substrate. A thin Mn layer evaporated on these films served as the source for the diffusion doping. The XRD pattern of undoped films revealed the presence of two wurtzite phases corresponding to ZnS and ZnO with a strong preferred orientation along the ZnS (0 0 2) hexagonal plane direction. SEM showed a similar surface morphology for the undoped and Mn-doped films, displaying regular arrays of hexagonal micro-rods perpendicular to the substrate. The optical transmission measurements showed that both undoped and Mn diffusion-doped films had a low average transmittance less than about 10%. The gap energy is decreased from 3.42 to 3.33 eV upon annealing at 400 °C. Photoluminescence studies at 300 K show that the incorporation of manganese leads to a decrease of deep level band intensity compared to undoped sample. Clear ferromagnetic loops were observed for the Mn-doped Zn(O,S) films, which might be due to the presence of point defects.  相似文献

Microarrays allowing simultaneous analysis of thousands of parameters can significantly accelerate screening of large libraries of pharmaceutical compounds and biomolecular interactions. For large-scale studies on diverse biomedical samples, reliable, label-free, and high-content microarrays are needed. In this work, using large-area plasmonic nanohole arrays, we demonstrate for the first time a large-scale label-free microarray technology with over one million sensors on a single microscope slide. A dual-color filter imaging method is introduced to dramatically increase the accuracy, reliability, and signal-to-noise ratio of the sensors in a highly multiplexed manner. We used our technology to quantitatively measure protein-protein interactions. Our platform, which is highly compatible with the current microarray scanning systems can enable a powerful screening technology and facilitate diagnosis and treatment of diseases.  相似文献

In this study, the Cu-based shape memory alloys were produced by arc melting. We have investigated the effects of the alloying elements on the characteristic transformation temperatures, enthalpy, entropy values, and the structure of Cu–Al–Mn ternary system. The evolution of the transformation temperatures was studied by the differential scanning calorimetry. The characteristic transformation temperatures can be controlled by the variations in the aluminum and manganese content. Additionally, the effect of magnesium and iron on the transformation temperatures and thermodynamic parameters was investigated in the Cu–Al–Mn ternary system. The addition of the magnesium decreases the characteristic transformation temperatures of the Cu–Al–Mn system, but that of the iron increases. The structural changes of the samples were studied by X-ray diffraction measurements and optical microscope observations. Due to the low solubility of the magnesium, the magnesium addition into the Cu–Al–Mn system forms precipitates in the matrix. It is evaluated that the transformation parameters of the CuAlMn shape memory alloys can be controlled by the change of the alloying elements and the weight percentages of alloying elements.  相似文献
