A series of new neutral dicarboxylatoplatinum(II) complexes, containing D(+), L(−) or DL-malate dianion and ethylenediamine,
1-ethylimidazole or 1-propylimidazole as amine ligands, have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, t.l.c.,
conductance, i.r., n.m.r., mass spectra (m/z) and electronic spectra. The new cytotoxic malatoplatinum(II) complexes are very soluble in water and resist hydrolysis.
Their reactivity against glutathione is comparable with the reactivity of carboplatin, which suggests that these new complexes
may be promising candidates in the search for low toxicity platinum cytostatics.
This revised version was published online in June 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date. 相似文献

Summary A new platinum complex of 1-methyl-5-nitroimidazole has been obtained and characterized by elemental analysis, i.r. and n.m.r. spectroscopy. The structure of [PtI2-(C4 H5N3O2)2] has been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystals are triclinic: P1, a = 15.640(3), b = 12.617(2), c = 6.701(1) , = 102.77(5), = 101.15(5), = 100.71(5)°, V = 1228.6(3) 3, Z = 3, Dx = 2.851(6) Mg m–3, (MoK
) = 0.71069 , = 12.85 mm–, F(000) = 948, final R = 0.038 for 2859 reflections. The complex consists of monomeric PtI2(1-methyl-5-nitroimidazole)2 units. The coordination geometry is square-planar. The two 1-methyl-5-nitroimidazole ligands are trans coordinated to platinum. 相似文献

Investigation of the reduction potential and calculation of the partition coefficient n-octanol/water allow the assessment of the potential suitability of nitropirydine N-oxide compounds in radiotherapy of cancer. Experiments were carried out using cyclic voltammetry with HMDE as working electrode. The electrode reduction of the investigated compounds is quite irreversible and strongly dependent on pH. 相似文献

Summary New neutral platinum complexes of Schiff bases or their hydrated derivatives were prepared and a new path to mixed ligand platinum(II) complexes is proposed. Reactions of [PtCl4]2– with multidentate Schiff bases give chelates which react further, resulting in cis-coordinated mixed N-donor ligand complexes. Structures are proposed on the basis of chemical analyses, electrical conductivities and i.r. studies. 相似文献
