We describe the structure of irreducible matrix groups with submultiplicative spectrum. Since all such groups are nilpotent, the study is focused on p-groups. We obtain a block-monomial structure of matrices in irreducible p-groups and build polycyclic series arising from that structure. We give an upper bound to the exponent of these groups. We determine all minimal irreducible groups of p× p matrices with submultiplicative spectrum and discuss the case of p 2× p 2 matrices if p is an odd prime.  相似文献

The effect of weak external magnetic fields on the conditions for implementing optical bistability in the region of exciton absorption of layered semiconductors has been theoretically investigated. By the example of the 2H polytype of lead diiodide, it is shown that, changing the strength of an external magnetic field, one can form conditions for implementing bistability and effectively control the position and sizes of the hysteresis loop of exciton absorption.  相似文献

Abstract

Phenomenon of ferromagnetic ordering was for a long time associated exclusively with transition metal and rare-earth compounds. Nowadays this view is challenged by growing evidence that in molecular carbon-based systems the ferromagnetic alignment of spins can be observed as well. We have developed a microscopical model of a fulleride electronic subsystem taking into account triple orbital degeneracy of energy states within the configurational-operator approach. Using the Green function method the energy spectrum of the model has been calculated. Conditions for the ferromagnetic state stabilization have been determined. Static electrical conductivity and effective masses of current carriers in the system with orbitally degenerated energy band have been obtained. In the ground state and for low temperatures at different forms of unperturbed density of electronic states the concentration dependences of transport characteristics for less-then-half-filled lower quasiparticle subband have been calculated.  相似文献

Synchrotron radiation, collimated to a μm scale was used for the determination of trace elements in micro-tektites and spherule material for the first time. The experimental set-up of the SXRF microprobe at beamline L at HASYLAB at DESY offers a suitable method for performing non-destructive in situ multi-element analysis focusing on spatial trace element distributions and mineral phases of the melted ejecta material from the Cretaceous/Tertiary boundary. The spatial distribution of trace elements was determined in melt inclusions as well as in phase transitions in selected parts of chlorite–smectite spherules and tektite glass material by using a beam with a diameter of 15 μm collimated with a glass capillary for line- and area scans as well as for single point measurements for elements with Z between 19 and 92. The analyzed spherules show alteration features but also zonation and carbonate inclusions, originating from the Chicxulub impact event. These initial results demonstrate the potential of μ-SXRF analysis for the discrimination of alteration and primary signals of the spherules and re-construction of their genetic evolution. It could be shown that the spherules represent a complex mixture of different materials from the subsurface at the Chicxulub impact site.  相似文献

Nonlinear absorption of a molecular crystal in an external magnetic field is considered. The exciton absorption shape functions under polarized laser radiation and a weak magnetic field, as well as the mechanisms responsible for the formation of a hysteresis loop in the dependence of the output light intensity on the applied magnetic field, were studied for the particular case of benzene. It was established that, for the magnetooptical response of the molecular crystal under study, the formation of bistable loops is inverse in character, which makes it possible to monitor and control the behavior of bistable elements in optical logics systems with an external magnetic field at a fixed illumination frequency.  相似文献
