A sensitive method of Co(II) determination by adsorptive stripping voltammetry is presented. The method exploits the enhancement of cobalt peak current observed in the system Co(II)-nioxime-cetyltrimethylammonium bromide-piperazine-N,N′-bis(2-ethanesulfonic acid). The calibration plot for an accumulation time of 60 s is linear from 5 × 10−11 to 3 × 10−9 mol L−1. The relative standard deviation is 3.8% for Co(II) determination at concentration 1 × 10−9 mol L−1. The detection limit is 1.7 × 10−11 mol L−1. The validation of the method is performed by the analyses of certified reference materials and comparing the result of Co(II) determination in river water sample by the proposed method with those obtained by ET AAS. The main advantage of this new system is the micro-trace Co(II) determination by adsorptive stripping voltammetry, as compared to those described before, a low concentration of the supporting electrolyte used, and so commercially available reagents without additional purification can be used.  相似文献

A selective and sensitive method is proposed for the determination of mercury by anodic stripping voltammetry after its preconcentration from the gas phase. Mercury from the sample solution is reduced to elemental Hg by SnCl2 and volatilized by the bubbles of a carrier gas. The gas containing mercury vapour is dried and passed through a capillary onto a gold coated graphite electrode. An anodic stripping voltam-mogram is recorded from 0.1 mol/1 HClO4 + 3 × 10−3 mol/1 HCl solution. The calibration curve is linear from 1 × 10−9 to 4 × 10−8 mol/1 Hg(NO3)2. The absolute detection limit is 0.46 ng Hg. The relative standard deviations for 4 × 10−9 mol/1 and 2 × 10−8 mol/1 Hg(NO3)2 are 9.8% and 6.1%, respectively n = 5).  相似文献

The voltammetric procedure for determination of traces of Cr(VI) [Anal. Chim. Acta (1992) 262:103] was modified by changing the temperature of the measurements. It was found that at the temperature of 40 °C the time of decrease of the Cr(III) signal was shortened from 30 to 5 min. As a result the total analysis time was drastically shortened. The modified procedure does not show any disadvantage as compared to the original method. The results of Cr(VI) determination by the modified procedure are less affected by Cr(III) as compared to the original method. The detection limit of the method was 2.5 × 10-11 mol L-1 (1.2 ng L-1). The validation of the modified procedure was performed by comparison of the results of analyses of tap and river water samples with those obtained using original procedure.  相似文献

A modification of the voltammetric procedure for the determination of chromium in the presence of DTPA and nitrates was proposed. Morpholinoethanesulfonic (MES) acid and its sodium salt were used for stabilisation of pH instead of acetate buffer. In the presence of MES the determination of chromium can be carried out in the presence of dissolved oxygen without decrease of sensitivity of the measurements. Elimination of the purge step decreases total analysis time and saves gas.  相似文献

A voltammetric determination of Cr(VI) in a flow system is described based on the selective accumulation of the reduction product of Cr(VI) on an HMDE, its complexation with DTPA and subsequent reduction of the complex in presence of nitrate. The calibration graphs were linear up to 100 and 5 nmol/L for deposition times 120 and 600 s, respectively. The relative standard deviation was 2.8% (n = 5) for Cr(VI) concentrations of 5 × 10–8 mol/L. The detection limits (3 σ) for Cr(VI) were 1.0 and 0.12 nmol/L at deposition times of 120 and 600 s, respectively. Typical interferences derived from real water samples are discussed. The method has been applied for the determination of Cr(VI) in spiked natural water samples. Received: 18 June 1998 / Revised: 28 September 1998 / Accepted: 5 October 1998  相似文献

The two adsorptive stripping voltammetric approaches for detection and quantitative determination of diethyl (2E)-2-{(2E)-[1-(4-methylphenyl)imidazolidin-2-ylidene]hydrazinylidene}butanedioate (DIB)—a novel molecule of medical importance—using two sensitive sensors based on modified glassy carbon electrodes as reusable sensors, were developed for the first time. The proposed electrochemical methods are based on adsorptive/reductive behaviour of DIB at two modified carbonic electrodes: a bismuth film-modified glassy carbon electrode (BiF/GCE) and a lead film-modified glassy carbon electrode (PbF/GCE). The electron gain mechanism for the electrochemical reduction of DIB on both developed sensors was proposed for the first time. To achieve the highest sensitivity in adsorptive stripping determinations, various experimental variables (e.g. the composition and pH of the supporting electrolytes, deposition conditions of bismuth and lead films, concentrations of plating solutions, accumulation times and potentials of DIB, etc.) were extensively examined. The comparison of validation parameters obtained during the determination of DIB at two sensors was presented. The excellent linear correlation was found between the monitored adsorptive stripping voltammetric peak current and the DIB concentration in the range of 15–600 μg L−1 at an accumulation time of 30 s (with LOD = 4.2 μg L−1 and LOQ = 14.0 μg L−1) using the BiF/GCE as a sensor. Furthermore, the excellent linear relationship was confirmed between the monitored adsorptive stripping voltammetric peak current and the DIB concentration in the range of 9–900 μg L−1 at an accumulation time of 10 s (with better LOD = 1.5 μg L−1 and LOQ = 5.0 μg L−1), employing the PbF/GCE as a sensor. The two optimized adsorptive stripping voltammetric approaches—as facile, sensitive, reliable and inexpensive—were successfully used as first methods for the quantitative analysis of a novel anticancer agent (DIB) in its pure pharmaceutically acceptable form. However, the practical applicability of square-wave adsorptive stripping voltammetric determination of the electroactive DIB molecule at a PbF/GCE, as the modified electrode of higher sensitivity, was presented after its successful solid phase extraction from a real serum sample.

The design and experimental results of the application of a renewable mercury film silver based electrode to the determination of Cr(VI) in soil samples are presented. The main feature of this procedure is that it can be used in field measurements. The procedure is based on the extraction of total Cr(VI) exploiting the complexation property of diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid (DTPA) followed by electrochemical reduction of Cr(VI) to Cr(III) with the formation of Cr(III)-H2DTPA complex adsorbed on mercury film electrode. The voltammetric signal is caused by reduction of this complex. The validation of the proposed procedure was made by Cr(VI) determination in the certified reference material “Chromium VI in soil”. The protocol for Cr(VI) determination has also been applied to the analysis of Rendoll soil samples with satisfying precision.

An adsorptive stripping voltammetric procedure for the determination of folic acid at an in situ plated lead film electrode was described. Formation of lead film on a glassy carbon substrate and accumulation of folic acid was performed simultaneously from an acetate buffer solution of pH 5.6 at the potential ?0.88 V. The measurements were carried out from aerated solutions. The calibration graph for an accumulation time of 300 s was linear from 2×10?9 to 5×10?8 mol L?1. The detection limit was 7×10?10 mol L?1, the relative standard deviation for 2×10?8 mol L?1 of folic acid was 3.9%. The proposed procedure was applied to folic acid determinations in pharmaceutical preparations.  相似文献

For elimination of copper interference in anodic stripping determinations of zinc at mercury and bismuth film electrodes gallium ions are usually added to the supporting electrolyte. In the presented studies novel ex situ formed gallium film electrode was applied for this purpose. The proposed electrode is less toxic than mercury one while the detection limit for zinc was lower than for bismuth film electrode following the same deposition time. The calibration graph for deposition time of 60 s was linear from 5 × 10−8 to 2 × 10−6 mol L−1. The determinations of zinc were carried out from undeaerated solutions. The proposed procedure was applied to zinc determination in certified reference material and tap water sample.  相似文献
