4,4-Bis(chloroacetyl)diphenylmethane has been prepared from ClCH2COCl and Ph2CH2. 4,4-Methylenebis(phenylglyoxylohydroximoyl chloride has also been obtained. Four new substituted 4,4-bis(alkylaminoisonitrosoacetyl)diphenylmethanes (ligands) have been prepared from 4,4-methylenebis(phenylglyoxylohydroximoyl chloride) and the corresponding amines. The NiII, CuII and CoII complexes of these ligands were prepared and their structures were identified using AAS, i.r., 1H-n.m.r. spectral data, elemental analyses and magnetic susceptibility measurements.  相似文献

A series of homo‐, heterodinuclear and homotrinuclear copper(II) complexes containing a new Schiff base ligand and 1,10‐phenanthroline were synthesized. Based on results of elemental analyses, FTIR, 1H‐ and 13C‐NMR spectra, conductivity measurements and magnetic susceptibility measurements, the complexes had general compositions {[Cu(L)(H2O)M(phen)2](ClO4)2 [M = Cu(II), Mn(II), Co(II)]} and {[Cu3(L)2(H2O)2](ClO4)2}. The metal:L:phen ratio is 2:1:2 for the dinuclear copper(II) complexes and the metal:L ratio was 3:2 for the trinuclear copper(II) complex. The liquid–liquid extraction of various transition metal cations [Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Pb(II), Cd(II), Hg(II)] from the aqueous phase to the organic phase was carried out using the diimine–dioxime ligand. It was concluded that the ligand can effectively be used in solvent extraction of copper(II) from the aqueous phase to the organic phase. Furthermore, catalytic activitiy of the complexes for the disproportionation of hydrogen peroxide was also investigated in the presence of imidazole. Dinuclear copper(II)–manganese(II) complex has some similarity to manganese catalase in structure and activity. The interaction between these complexes and DNA has also been investigated by agarose gel electrophoresis; we found that the homo‐ and heterodinuclear copper complexes can cleave supercoiled pBR322 DNA to nicked and linear forms in the presence of H2O2. Four different types of new ligands Ar[COC(NOH)R] n (Ar=biphenyl, n = 1 H2L1; Ar=biphenyl, n = 2 H4L2; Ar=diphenylmethane, n = 1 H2L3; Ar=diphenylmethane, n = 2 H4L4; R=2-amino-4-chlorophenol in all ligands) have been obtained from 1 equivalent of chloroketooximes Ar[COC(NOH)Cl] n (HL1-H2L4) and 1 equivalent of 2-amino-4-chlorophenol (for H2L1 and H2L3) or 2 equivalent of 2-amino-4-chlorophenol (for H4L2 and H4L4). (Mononuclear or binuclear cobalt(II), nickel(II), copper(II) and zinc(II) complexes were synthesized with these ligands.) These compounds have been characterized by elemental analyses, AAS, infra-red spectra and magnetic susceptibility measurements. The ligands have been further characterized by 1H NMR. The results suggest that the dinuclear complexes of H2L1 and H2L3 have a metal:ligand ratio of 1:2; the mononuclear complexes of H4L2 and H4L4 have a metal:ligand ratio of 1:1 and dinuclear complexes H4L2 and H4L4 have a metal:ligand ratio of 2:1. The binding properties of the ligands towards selected transition metal ions (MnII, CoII, NiII, CuII, ZnII, PbII, CdII, HgII) have been established by extraction experiments. The ligands show strong binding ability towards mercury(II) ion. In addition, the thermal decomposition of some complexes is studied in nitrogen atmosphere.  相似文献

Vicinal carbonyl oxime (HL1) and oxime-imine (H2L2) ligands and their mononuclear Ru(III) and Cu(II), heterodinuclear Ru(III)-Mn(II), Ru(III)-Ni(II), Ru(III)-Cu(II), and heterotrinuclear Ru(III)-Cu(II)-Ru(III) chelates were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductivity, IR, ESR, ICP-OES, magnetic moment measurements, and thermal analyses studies. The free ligands were also characterized by 1H NMR spectra. The carbonyl-oxime ligand coordinates through the oxygen of =N-OH to form a six-membered chelate ring. The quadridentate tetraaza ligand (H2L2) obtained by condensing of the bidentate ligand 1-p-diphenylmethane-2-hydroxyimino-2-(1-naphthylamino)-1-ethanone (HL1) with 1,2-phenylenediamine coordinates with Ru(III) through its nitrogen donors in the equatorial position with the loss of one of the oxime protons and concomitant formation of an intramolecular hydrogen bond. Stoichiometric and spectral results of the metal complexes indicated that the metal: ligand ratios in the mononuclear complexes of the ligand (HL1) were found to be 1: 2, while these ratios were 1: 1 in the mononuclear complexes of the ligand (H2L2). The metal: ligand ratios of the dinuclear complexes were found to be 2: 1, and this ratio was 3: 2 in the trinuclear complex. The article is published in the original.  相似文献

Three new substituted 4-(alkylaminoisonitrosoacetyl)biphenyls (ligands) derived from 4-biphenylhydroxymoyl chloride and corresponding amines were synthesized. The following aromatic and aliphatic amines were used for ligands: ethanolamine, 2-amino-4-methylphenol, and 2-(aminomethyl)pyridine. Mononuclear or binuclear cobalt(II), nickel(II), copper(II), zinc(II), cadmium(II), and lead(II) complexes with these ligands were synthesized. These compounds were characterized by elemental analyses, AAS, infrared spectra, and magnetic susceptibility measurements. The ligands were additionally characterized by 1H NMR. The results suggest that the ligands act as tridentate ligands. The text was submitted by the authors in English.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of a new dioxime ligand, (H2L), (III) and its trinuclear copper(II) complex, [Cu3L2(H2O)2](ClO4)2, (V) is described. IR spectra show that the ligand acts in a tetradentate manner and coordinates N4 donor groups of H2L to copper(II) ion. The structure of the metal chelate is clarified with the help of elemental analysis, magnetic moment, conductometric and spectroscopic measurements. The optical absorption studies reveal that the transition is direct with band gap energy values are calculated. The optical constants such as refractive index and dielectric constant of the compound were determined. The refractive index dispersion curves of the films obey the single-oscillator model and oscillator parameters. Optical dispersion parameters E0 and Ed developed by Wemple-DiDomenico were calculated.  相似文献

The thermal decompositions of the complexes of N,N-dialkyl-N'-benzoylthioureas with Cu(II), Ni(II), Pd(II), Pt(II), Cd(II), Ru(III) and Fe(III) were studied by TG and DTA techniques. These metal complexes decompose in two stages: elimination of dialkylbenzamide, and total decomposition to metal sulphides or metals. The influence of the alkyl substituents in these benzoylthiourea chelates on the thermal behaviour of the metal complexes was investigated. This revised version was published online in November 2005 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

The reaction of the ‘oximato’‐ligand precursor A (Fig. 1) and metal salts with KCN gave two mononuclear complexes [ML(CN)(H2O)n](ClO4) ( 1 and 2 ; L={N‐(hydroxy‐κO)‐α‐oxo‐N′‐[(pyridin‐2‐yl‐κN)methyl[1,1′‐biphenyl]‐4‐ethanimidamidato‐κN′}; M=CoII ( 1 ), CuII ( 2 ); n=2 for CoII, n=0 for CuII; Figs. 2 and 3). The new cyano‐bridged pentanuclear ‘oximato’ complexes [{ML(H2O)n(NC)}4M1(H2O)x](ClO4)2 ( 3 – 6 ) and trinuclear complexes [{ML(H2O)n(NC)}2M1L](ClO4) ( 7 – 10 ) ([M1=MnII, CuII; x=2 for MnII, x=0 for CuII] were synthesized from mononuclear complexes and characterized by elemental analyses, magnetic susceptibility, molar conductance, and IR and thermal analysis. The four [ML(CN)(H2O)n]+ moieties are connected by a metal(II) ion in the pentanuclear complexe 3 – 6 , each one involving four cyano bridging ligands (Fig. 4). The central metal ion displays a square‐planar or octahedral geometry, with the cyano bridging ligands forming the equatorial plane. The axial positions are occupied by two aqua ligands in the case of the central Mn‐atom. The two [ML(CN)(H2O)n]+ moieties and an ‘oximato’ ligand are connected by a metal(II) ion in the trinuclear complexes 7 – 10 , each one involving two cyano bridging ligands (Fig. 5). The central metal ions display a distorted square‐pyramidal geometry, with two cyano bridging ligands and the donor atoms of the tridentate ‘oximato’ ligand. Moreover catalytic activities of the complexes for the disproportionation of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) were also investigated in the presence of 1H‐imidazole. The synthesized homopolynuclear CuII complexes 6 and 10 displayed eficiency in disproportion reactions of H2O2 producing H2O and dioxygen thus showing catalase‐like activity.  相似文献

A new tetradentate diimine–dioxime ligand containing a donor set of N4, and its homo-, heterodinuclear and homotrinuclear copper(II) complexes were prepared and characterized on the basis of their elemental analysis, FT-IR, 1H and 13C NMR spectra, molar conductivity and magnetic moment measurements. The extraction ability of N,N′′-bis[1-biphenyl-2-hydroxyimino-1-ethylidene]-diethylenetriamine was also evaluated in chloroform by using several transition metal picrates such as Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Pb(II), Cd(II) and Hg(II). It has been seen that the ligand shows strong binding ability toward the copper(II) ion. Moreover, the catalytic activities of the complexes for the disproportionation of hydrogen peroxide were investigated in the presence of imidazole. The synthesized complexes display efficiency in the disproportion reactions of hydrogen peroxide, producing water and dioxygen in catalase-like activity. The interaction between these complexes and DNA has also been investigated by agarose gel electrophoresis. We found that the homo- and heterodinuclear copper complexes can cleave supercoiled pBR322 DNA to nicked and linear forms. The dinuclear complexes including phenanthroline (24), with H2O2 as a co-oxidant, exhibited the strongest cleaving activity.  相似文献

The starting point of the research was the reaction of chloroacetyl chloride with biphenyl in the presence of aluminum chloride. 4-Biphenylhydroximoyl chloride (HL) was obtained by reacting synthesized 4-(chloroacetyl)biphenyl with alkyl nitride. Four new substituted 4-(alkylaminoisonitrosoacetyl)biphenyles (ketooximes) were prepared by reacting 4-biphenylhydroximoyl chloride with corresponding amines in EtOH. The following amines were used for ligands: p-toluidine, p-chloroaniline, pyrrolidine, and 4-aminoacetophenone. Mononuclear complexes with a metal-ligand ratio of 1: 2 were prepared using cadmium(II), cobalt(II), copper(II), nickel(II), lead(II), and zinc(II) salts. These compounds have been characterized by elemental analyses, AAS, infrared spectra and magnetic susceptibility measurements. The ligands have been further characterized by 1H NMR. The results suggest that the ketooximes act as bidentate ligands which bond metal ions through the oxime and carbonyl oxygen. The text was submitted by the authors in English.  相似文献
