Herein we describe the synthesis and characterization of compounds having the formulae R2SnL2 and R3SnL, where R = Me, n-Bu, Ph and n-Oct and L = 2-[N-(2,4,6-tribromophenylamido]propanoic acid. All the complexes have been characterized by various spectroscopic methods (IR and 1H, 13C, 119Sn NMR), elemental analysis, mass spectrometry and physical data. These compounds were also screened for their biological activity and found some encouraging results.  相似文献

Summary.  Tributyltin(IV) derivatives of six different pharmaceutically active carboxylates were synthesized. The complexes were characterized by different analytical techniques (elemental analysis; infrared, NMR, and mass spectroscopy). 119Sn NMR data were also recorded in six different coordinating and non-coordinating solvents. The antibacterial activities of the compounds were tested using ten different bacteria relative to the reference drugs ampicillin and cephalexin. Received September 20, 2001. A brief account is given of the synthesis, structural chemistry and the antibacterial, antifungal and cytotoxic effects of organotin complexes of 2-[(2,4-dichloroanilinocarbonyl)]benzoic acid. The unimolar and bimolar substitution products have been characterized by elemental analysis and spectral studies, including IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, 119Sn NMR, and mass spectra. The data support the binding of the oxygen atom to the tin atom in [R2Sn(OOCR’)2] and [R3Sn(OOCR’)] (R = Me, Bu, and Ph, R’ = 2-[(2,4-dichloroanilinocarbonyl)]benzoic acid). Based on these studies, with a coordination number of four, a distorted tetrahedral geometry has been proposed for the resulting derivatives in solution. The free ligand (R’/COOH) and its respective tin complexes were tested in vitro against a number of microorganisms to assess their biocidal properties and to correlate them with the structures of the derivatives.  相似文献

A new series of organotin(IV) complexes of aniline derivatives, R2SnL2 and R3SnL [where R = Me, n-Bu, n-Oct, and Ph], have been synthesized by the reaction of ligand acid with respective organotin halides in the presence of triethylamine as base or dioctyltin oxide using a Dean–Stark trap for the removal of water under reflux conditions. Experimental details for the preparation and characterization, including elemental analysis, IR, semi-empirical study, multinuclear NMR (1H, 13C, and 119Sn spectra and EI mass spectral studies) of all reported complexes are provided. The IR data indicate that in both di- and triorganotin(IV) carboxylates, the ligand moiety ?COO acts as a bidentate group in the solid state. Multinuclear NMR data show that triorganotin complexes exhibits a four-coordinated geometry, while diorganotin(IV) complexes show a coordination number greater than four, probably five or six, in solution state.

Abstract

A novel polymeric complex has been synthesized by refluxing disodium acetylene dicarboxylate with tributyltin chloride in dry methanol. The solid-state structure of the complex has been determined by single-crystal X-ray analysis. The tin(IV) metal exhibits distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometry. Each carboxylate group of the ligand acts in a bidentate fashion, linking adjacent metal atoms to produce polymeric chains, which are cross-linked into a three-dimensional network.  相似文献

Abstract

Organotin complexes with the general formulae R2SnL2, R2Sn(Cl)L, and R3SnL have been synthesized where R = CH3, n-C4H6, C6H5, C6H11, and L = 4-(hydroxy methyl)piperidine-1-carbodithioic acid. The newly synthesized complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR, NMR (1H, 13C and 119Sn), and, for one example, a single crystal x-ray structure. The FT-IR data shows the bidentate nature of the ligand. This coordination behavior is also confirmed by semi-empirical study. In the solid state, diorganotin complexes exhibit the penta/hexacoordinated geometry, whereas the triorganotin(IV) complexes show the five coordinated geometry. 119Sn NMR data reveal that triorganotin(IV) complexes exhibit the four coordinated geometry in solution, whereas the diorganotin(IV) compounds show the higher coordination, probably five or six. X-ray diffraction analysis of complex (2) shows a square pyramidal geometry around the tin atom on the basis of τ value.

Organotin complexes have been synthesized by refluxing 2-mercapto-5-methyl benzimidazole with R2SnCl2/R3SnCl (R = Me, n-Bu, Ph) in 1:1 molar ratio in the first step. In the second step, synthesized organotin(IV) complexes were treated with CS2 and R2SnCl2/R3SnCl/PdCl2 to yield homo- and heterobimetallic complexes. The composition of the synthesized complexes, the bonding behavior of the donor groups, and structural assignments were studied by elemental analysis and different spectral techniques, including IR and multinuclear NMR (1H, 13C). The IR data shows bidentate nature of the ligand which is also confirmed by semiempirical study, while NMR data confirms the four-coordinated geometry in solution. The free ligand and its respective homo- and heterobimetallic complexes were screened in vitro against a number of microorganisms to assess their biocidal properties. The biological activity data show that complexes exhibits significant antibacterial and antifungal activities as compared to ligand with few exceptions.  相似文献

Theophylline-7-acetic acid (acefylline) ( 3 ) and its derivatives are pharmacologically active compounds and generally recognized as bronchodilators for the treatment of respiratory diseases like acute asthma for over 70 years. In this article, synthesis of 2-((5-((1,3-dimethyl-2,6-dioxo-2,3-dihydro-1H-purin-7(6H)-yl)methyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-yl)thio)-N-arylacetamides ( 10a-j ) has been reported. All the synthesized derivatives ( 10a-j) were structurally verified by FT-IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and evaluated for their anti-cancer (using MTT assay), hemolytic and thrombolytic potential. N-(4-Chlorophenyl)-2-(5-((1,3-dimethyl-2,6-dioxo-2,3-dihydro-1H-purin-7(6H)-yl)methyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-ylthio)acetamide ( 10g ) was found to be the most active against human liver cancer cell lines (Huh7) having cell viability 53.58 ± 1.28 using 100 μg/mL concentration of compound which was further in-silico modelled to describe the possible mechanistic insights for its anti-proliferative activity. The results of hemolytic and thrombolytic activities indicated that these derivatives were less toxic and hold considerable potential as a drug candidate. 2-(5-((1,3-Dimethyl-2,6-dioxo-2,3-dihydro-1H-purin-7(6H)-yl)methyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-ylthio)-N-(2-fluorophenyl)acetamide ( 10c ) of the series was found to be least toxic with 0.1% hemolysis relative to ABTS (95.5%) as positive control. 2-(5-((1,3-Dimethyl-2,6-dioxo-2,3-dihydro-1H-purin-7(6H)-yl)methyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-ylthio)-N-(tetrahydro-2H-pyran-4-yl)acetamide ( 10j ) exhibited potent clot lysis activity (90%) as compared to negative control DMSO (0.57%).  相似文献

A low‐temperature, efficient and effective method was investigated for phytochemical hydroethanolic extraction of Nasturtium officinale (Brassicaceae). The phytocompounds of the selected plant leaves were identified by high‐performance liquid chromatography, gas chromatography with mass spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and ultraviolet‐visible spectroscopy. Acetic acid, d ‐alanine, octodrine, decanoic acid, and cyclohexylethylamine were the major phytocompounds identified in N. officinale leaves with high similarity match and spectral purity. The reducing and stabilizing potential of the extracted phytochemicals was demonstrated by synthesizing the metal oxide nanoparticles (MoO3) by treating ammonium heptamolybdate tetrahydrate (H4MO7N6O24.4H2O) aqueous complex with bioactive compounds of the leaves. The bio‐synthesized MoO3 nanoparticles were characterized by ultraviolet‐visible spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X‐ray diffraction, energy dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy, field emission‐scanning electron microscopy, and gas chromatography with mass spectroscopy. Gas chromatography‐mass spectroscopy identified acetic acid, d ‐alanine, and octodrine as stabilizing agents in the synthesis of MoO3 nanoparticles.  相似文献

The di- and tri-organotin(IV) complexes of n-butyl hydrogenphthalate and (Z) 3-(4-nitrophenyl)-2-phenyl-2-propenoate were subjected to thermal decomposition by mean of thermogravimetry (TG). The decomposition occurred in steps and the kinetics of every set of reactions was determined using the method described by Coats and Redfern. These results were analyzed to establish the decomposition kinetics and, hence, to calculate the activation energies. The activation energies were also determined by applying the methods described by Horowitz and Metzger, which yielded comparable results. These results confirm that both the ligands act as bidentate in the solid state.  相似文献
