We report on the effect of commercially important polysaccharides (maltodextrins with variable dextrose equivalent (Paselli SA-2, MD-6 and MD-10) on the surface activity at the air–water interface of small-molecule surfactants (sms), possessing different hydrophobic–lipophilic balance ((SSL (Na+), the main component is a sodium salt of stearol–lactoyl lactic acid, and PGE (080), polyglycerol ester of C18 fatty acid), and widely used in food products. A marked change of the surface activity of sms was found in the presence of maltodextrins by tensiometry. The combined data of laser multiangle light scattering and mixing calorimetry have suggested that this result is governed by specific complex formation between maltodextrins and sms in aqueous medium. Measurements have been made of the molar mass, the second virial coefficient and the enthalpy of intermolecular interactions in aqueous solutions. The implication of a degree of polymerization of maltodextrins in this phenomenon was shown. The interrelation between the molecular parameters of the formed complexes and their surface activity at the air–water interface has been revealed and discussed.  相似文献

On the basis of numerical calculations and experimental studies we analyze the possibilities of measuring the electrophysical parameters of indium phosphide by means of infrared reflection spectra at wavelengths ranging from 5 to 200 m. We demonstrate that contactless nondestructive measurements of the electron density in the range 1016–1020 cm–3 can be made with a relative error not exceeding 15%, and of mobility with a relative error not exceeding 25%. A complete x-ray structural investigation has been made of 3-acetoxy-22S,25-epoxyholosta-7,9(11)-dien-17-ol. Important conformational differences between this compound and its 17-deoxy derivative have been found which show the mobility of the conformation of rings B and C of the holostane series and the tetrahydrofuran ring of the side chain of the molecule. Under the conditions studied for the synthesis of mesophase materials with alkylpyridinium halides an increase in the density of packing of these molecules in the encapsulated micelles was observed with an increase in the length of the alkyl radicals. The difference in the density of packing of these surface active reagents (SAR) depended to a considerable extent on the perfection of the hexagonal structure and the characteristic absorption properties of the mesophase materials of MCM-41 type.  相似文献

The acid properties of intermediate products in crystallization of pentasil-type zeolites have been investigated using programmed thermal desorption of ammonia and adsorption of pyridine. It was found that acidity increases with increasing crystallinity due to proton-donor centers. Mesoporous titanium-containing silicas with TiO2 contents from 1 up to 70 mol% were prepared. The obtained samples have been characterized by the powder X-ray diffraction data, the diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform method, and nitrogen adsorption at 77 K. Specific surface area, total pore volume, distribution pore volume on pore sizes were determined from nitrogen adsorption isotherm for synthesized titanosilicas. The paper describes synthesis of (nBu4N)2[RuNOCl5](I), (nBu4N)2[RuNOCl4OH](II), (nBu4N)2×[RuNOCl4OH]·6H2O (III), and (nBu4N)2[RuNOCl5]· 2(nBu4N)2[RuNOCl4(H2O)]·2H2O (IV). The complexes were studied by IR spectroscopy and powder Xray and crystal Xray analyses. The structures are built up of [RuNOCl5]2- (I, IV), [RuNOCl4OH]2- (II, III), and [RuNOCl4(H2O)]- (IV) complex anions, (nBu4N)+ cations, and crystal water molecules (III, IV). The substances are moderately soluble in water; highly soluble in polar organic solvents, such as acetone, ethanol, chloroform, methylene chloride; and almost insoluble in carbon tetrachloride and toluene. Under storage in light, the compounds decompose from the surface; in darkness I and II are stable, whereas III and IV can lose part of the crystal water.  相似文献
