Background
Interruption of mature axons activates a cascade of events in neuronal cell bodies which leads to various outcomes from functional regeneration in the PNS to the failure of any significant regeneration in the CNS. One factor which seems to play an important role in the molecular programs after axotomy is the stearoyl Coenzyme A-desaturase-1 (SCD-1). This enzyme is needed for the conversion of stearate into oleate. The use of multivariate modelling of near infra-red spectra to predict the butter fat content of spreads 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
In order to obtain a rapid method that can detect adulteration of butter fats with cheaper vegetable fats, the use of NIR spectroscopy and multivariate modelling was explored. For model building and validation, an extensive set of samples was collected, consisting of 152 butter samples, 42 oils and 200 blends thereof. Variations in butter fat composition are reflected in distinct NIR spectral regions. Principal components analysis and partial least square discriminant analysis was used to inspect the variation within the sample set. As reference values for training partial least squares models, butter fat levels as declared by suppliers were taken, as well as C4:0 fatty acid levels as measured directly by GC. All samples were used for training, except for 100 blends, which were used later for validation. Different pre-processing and PLS approaches were explored, resulting in models that had a RMSEPs for butter fat and C4:0 fatty acid level in the range of 4.3-8.2 and 0.33-0.38% (w/w), respectively. The performance of NIR in assessment of C4:0 fatty acid levels is lower as for GC, but this disadvantage is outweighed by shorter measurement times and the lower skill levels required. Electrospray mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry was used to investigate the gas‐phase properties of protonated expanded porphyrins, in order to correlate those with their structure and conformation. We have selected five expanded meso‐pentafluorophenyl porphyrins, respectively, a pair of oxidized/reduced fused pentaphyrins (22 and 24 π electrons), a pair of oxidized/reduced regular hexaphyrins (26 and 28 π electrons) and a regular doubly N‐fused hexaphyrin (28 π electrons). The gas‐phase behavior of the protonated species of oxidized and reduced expanded porphyrins is different. The oxidized species (aromatic Hückel systems) fragment more extensively, mainly by the loss of two HF molecules. The reduced species (Möbius aromatic or Möbius‐like aromatic systems) fragment less than their oxidized counterparts because of their increased flexibility. The protonated regular doubly fused hexaphyrin (non‐aromatic Hückel system) shows the least fragmentation even at higher collision energies. In general, cyclization through losses of HF molecules decreases from the aromatic Hückel systems to Möbius aromatic or Möbius‐like aromatic systems to non‐aromatic Hückel systems and is related to an increase in conformational distortion. DyFe12?xMx (M=Si,Ti,Cr) were studied with57Fe and161Dy Mössbauer spectroscopy. The deduced coupling constants JRFe of these compounds are about equal. It is found that Si is substituting one particular Fe-site, while Cr is substituting Fe randomly. In DyFe10Si2 two Fe-sites favour a c-axis anisotropy, while the third one favours the basal plane. 相似文献
