The complex anatomy of teeth limits the accessibility and efficacy of regenerative treatments. Therefore, the application of well-known inducers as injectable hydrogels for the regeneration of the dentin-pulp complex is considered a promising approach. In this regard, this study aimed to develop an injectable hydrogel containing mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA). The injectable chitosan/oxidized-nanocrystalline cellulose/MTA (CS/OCNC/MTA) hydrogels were prepared, and the physicochemical properties of these hydrogels were evaluated by TGA, FTIR, Rheological analysis, and SEM. Moreover, the effect of MTA on the swelling and degradability of scaffolds was assessed. The proliferative effects of synthesized hydrogels were also determined on human dental pulp stem cells (hDPSCs) by MTT assay. For induction of differentiation and biomineralization in these cells, the alkaline phosphatase activity and Alizarin Red S staining tests were performed in the presence of fabricated scaffolds. The proliferation of hDPSCs was significantly increased in the presence of these hydrogels. Moreover, the addition of MTA to hydrogel structure dramatically improved the differentiation of hDPSCs. These results suggested that this novel injectable hydrogel provides appropriate physiochemical properties and can be considered a promising scaffold for regenerative endodontic procedures.

Metalation of (HSiMe2)3CH with lithium diisopropylamide (LDA) in THF gives (HSiMe2)3CLi, which reacts with ethylene oxide, propylene oxide, 1,2-epoxy butane, 1,2-epoxy pentane, 1,2-epoxy hexane, and epichlorohydrin to give the corresponding 1-oxa-2-silacyclopentane derivatives. Then, glycidylmethacrylate (GM) random copolymers with styrene (St) (in a 1:1 and 1:3 mol ratio) were synthesized by solution free radical polymerization at 70(±1) °C using α,α′-azobis(isobutyronitrile) (AIBN) as an initiator. Both types of copolymers were treated with (HSiMe2)3CLi to give new modified copolymers. The reaction of (HSiMe2)3CLi with epoxides on the side chains of the copolymers does not lead to intramolecular nucleophilic attack contrary to simple epoxides. All the products have been characterized by spectroscopic techniques.  相似文献

Thermo-oxidative stability of HDPE/EVA blends can be considerably increased by combination of a high-molecular weight phenolic antioxidant and zinc stearate. In this work, the post-irradiation thermal stability of HDPE/EVA blends has been studied. High-density polyethylene and its blends with ethylene-vinylacetate copolymer in both pure form and mixed with Irganox 1010 and zinc stearate were exposed to electron beam radiation at doses between 80 and 150 kGy, at room temperature, in air. In order to evaluate the thermal stability of the samples, post-irradiation heat treatments were done in both hot water bath at 95 °C and in an oven at 140 °C. The mechanical properties and changes in the chemical structure were determined during thermal aging in hot water and oven. The gel content was enhanced by increasing EVA concentration in all applied doses. The stabilized blends have lower gel content than the unstabilized samples. From the results of heat aging treatments it was observed that the thermal stability of the unstabilized blend samples was lower than HDPE. Thermal stability of the samples has been improved by incorporation of Irganox 1010 and zinc stearate. Formation of hydroxyl group was insignificant for stabilized samples during heat aging in both conditions. Also, the changes in the value of oxidation induction time (OIT) for the stabilized samples were negligible after prolonged immersion in hot water.  相似文献

Monolayer ZrO2 and TiO2 films were prepared on BK7 glass by physical vapor deposition (PVD) and were subsequently annealed for 1 h at 300 °C. By using the transmission spectra of two samples and the envelope method, the refractive index dispersion and extinction coefficients have been calculated. Laser induced damage threshold (LIDT) measurement shows that despite slight differences between the extinction coefficients of the two samples, the LIDT parameter of the ZrO2 film is greater than that of the TiO2 film. This fact leads us to consider thermal conductivity as an important parameter for interpreting the LIDT difference. According to our theoretical analysis, as a consequence of increase in the number of thermal barriers along poorer film, its thermal conductivity, and hence LIDT, decreased, which is in agreement with our experimental results. The measured porosity of the two samples shows higher porosity for TiO2 single layer, which is in agreement with atomic force (AFM) images. The gradual and smooth damage morphology of ZrO2 observed in optical images implies higher thermal conductivity than TiO2.  相似文献

An extremely efficient heterogeneous protocol is reported for the one-pot, three-component synthesis of a series of dihydropyrimidinones (DHPMs) in the presence of ZnO nanoparticles in water as a green solvent. The ZnO nanoparticles exhibited excellent catalytic activity and the proposed methodology is capable of providing the desired products in good yields (65–94%) within short reaction times. After the reaction course, ZnO nanoparticles can be recycled and reused without any apparent loss of activity, which makes this ecofriendly process cost-effective.  相似文献

In response to the need in industry for a quick and reproducible method of measuring the flowability of powders in processes involving transport and storage, the apparently simple idea of measuring angle of repose has been revived. The simple tester first used has evolved over a number of years into the present version which is shown to be capable of handling quite small samples of powders that are even slightly cohesive. Experimental data are presented and results shown to compare consistently with the better known Hausner ratio.  相似文献

This paper presents the geometric analysis of the electric field edge effect in three charged rectangular conductors. This effect is taken into account for evaluating the electric capacitance and the force between charged bodies. The comprehensive model presented in this work includes seven geometric parameters to fully define the system and calculate a correction factor to the analytical model. The correction factor is presented as closed-form equations. Instead of using finite element models, these equations can be used for determining the gradient of capacitance and the electrostatic force between charged bodies.  相似文献

A suitable approach to stabilize palladium nanoparticles (Pd NPs), with an average diameter of 3–4 nm, on magnetic polymer is described. A new magnetic polymer containing 4′‐(4‐hydroxyphenyl)‐2,2′:6′,2″‐terpyridine (HPTPy) ligand was prepared by the polymerization of itaconic acid (ITC) as a monomer and trimethylolpropane triacrylate (TMPTA) as a cross‐linker and fully characterized. Pd NPs embedded on the magnetic polymer were successfully applied in Suzuki–Miyaura and Mizoroki–Heck coupling reactions under low palladium loading conditions, and provided the corresponding products with excellent yields (up to 98%) and high catalytic activities (TOF up to 257 hr?1). Also, the catalyst can be easily separated and reused for at least consecutive five times with a small drop in catalytic activity.  相似文献

In this study, a simple, sensitive and low-cost iodate electrochemical sensor based on graphenized pencil lead electrode (GPLE) modified with Ag nanoparticles (AgNPs) was presented. The GPLE was simply prepared via electrochemical exfoliation of pencil lead electrode (PLE) by applying an optimized potential in acidic media. Afterward, silver nanoparticles were electrochemically deposited on the surface of GPLE using chronoamperometry technique. The fabricated electrode was carefully characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) techniques. Electrochemical behavior and also the electrocatalytic performance of the modified electrode toward the reduction of iodate were studied in details using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) techniques. The fabricated sensor responds efficiently to iodate over the concentration range of 0.05 to 75 mM with a detection limit of 0.017 mM and sensitivity of 0.26 µA µM?1 cm?2. Remarkably enhanced electrocatalytic performance of the modified electrode was ascribed to the synergistic effect of graphene-like nanostructures with high surface to volume ratio, excellent conductivity and also the excessive electrocatalytic behavior of silver nanoparticles. The modified electrode was successfully employed for the determination of iodate in table and sea salt samples.  相似文献

As a result of using time-temperature gradient annealing, the structural and optical properties and hence, thermal properties of ZrO2 thin films deposited by electron gun, enhanced considerably compared with rapid thermal annealing. Also, it can be seen time- temperature gradient annealing caused to decrease the total stress and number of thermal barrier along the film. Therefore, according to our experimental results, which is agree with theoretical analysis, the laser induced damage threshold of ZrO2 films can be enhanced significantly compared with rapid annealing procedure.  相似文献
