Integral inequalities of Gronwall-Bellman-Bihari type and asymptotic behavior of certain second order nonlinear differential equations

Several integral inequalities similar to Gronwall-Bellmann-Bihari inequalities are obtained. These inequalities are used to discuss the asymptotic behavior of certain second order nonlinear differential equations.     

Stability of Hyperbolic and Nonhyperbolic Fixed Points of One-dimensional Maps

We present a complete theory for the stability of non-hyperbolic fixed points of one-dimensional continuous maps. As well as we give simple criteria for the global stability of general maps without using derivatives.     

Submultiplicative and subadditive functions and integral inequalities of Bellman-Bihari type

We define two classes of functions which contain the classes of nondecreasing submultiplicative and subadditive functions. Then we discuss the properties of these classes and use them to give generalizations of some well-known integral inequalities like the Bellman-Bihari inequality.     

A nonautonomous Beverton–Holt equation of higher order

In this paper, we discuss a certain nonautonomous Beverton–Holt equation of higher order. After a brief introduction to the classical Beverton–Holt equation and recent results, we solve the higher-order Beverton–Holt equation by rewriting the recurrence relation as a difference system of order one. In this process, we examine the existence and uniqueness of a periodic solution and its global attractivity. We continue our analysis by studying the corresponding second Cushing–Henson conjecture, i.e., by relating the average of the unique periodic solution to the average of the carrying capacity.
