This study investigated the organic and inorganic constituents of healthy leaves and Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus (CLas)-inoculated leaves of citrus plants. The bacteria CLas are one of the causal agents of citrus greening (or Huanglongbing) and its effect on citrus leaves was investigated using laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) combined with chemometrics. The information obtained from the LIBS spectra profiles with chemometrics analysis was promising for the construction of predictive models to identify healthy and infected plants. The major, macro- and microconstituents were relevant for differentiation of the sample conditions. The models were then applied to different inoculation times (from 1 to 8 months). The models were effective in the classification of 82-97% of the diseased samples with a 95% significance level. The novelty of this method was in the fingerprinting of healthy and diseased plants based on their organic and inorganic contents.  相似文献

Biodiesel is defined as a mixture of mono- or di-alquil esters of vegetable oil or animal fats. During long-term storage, oxidation caused by contact with air (autoxidation) presents a legitimate concern in relation to monitoring and maintaining fuel quality. Extensive oxidative degradation may compromise the quality by adversely affecting kinematic viscosity, acid value, or peroxide value. The oxidation susceptibility of biodiesel, due to the presence of triacilglycerides of poly-unsaturated fatty acids, was evaluated in this study. Samples of sunflower, castor, and soybean biodiesels were obtained through the transesterification reaction, with the intention of achieving the thermal stability study through thermogravimetrical analyses and differential scanning calorimetry high pressure. It was furthermore observed through thermogravimetry and pressure differential scanning calorimetry curves that castor biodiesel exhibited the highest thermal and oxidative stability.  相似文献

The total synthesis of (-)-macrolactin A, a 24-membered macrolide, has been achieved using a newly developed 1,3-diol synthon for the introduction of two key stereogenic centers. The synthon was derived from sequential use of the Noyori asymmetric reduction followed by chiral sulfoxide methodology. Tellurium-derived cuprate organometallics offered an efficient and highly stereoselective means for installation of the C8 Z/E-diene, while the C15 E/E-segment was derived from a Julia-Lythgoe olefination. Yamaguchi lactonization was used to secure the macrocycle in a convergent approach with the longest linear sequence of 19 steps from Noyori alcohol 6.  相似文献

The molar transition energy (E(T)) polarity values for the solvatochromic probes 2,6-diphenyl-4-(2,4,6-triphenylpyridinium)phenolate (1), 4[(1-methyl-4-(1H)-pyridinylidene)-ethylidene]-2,5-cyclohexadien-1-one (2), and 4-[4-(dimethylamino)styryl]-1-methylpyridinium iodide (3) were collected in binary mixtures comprising chloroform and a hydrogen-bond accepting (HBA) solvent [dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF), N,N-dimethylacetamide (DMA), acetone or acetonitrile], aiming to investigate the ability of the chlorinated component to act as hydrogen-bond donating (HBD) solvent. Plots of E(T) as a function of X(2), the mole fraction of chloroform, were obtained and the data were analysed to investigate the preferential solvation (PS) of each probe in terms of both solute-solvent and solvent-solvent interactions. For dyes 1 and 2 a strong synergistic behavior was observed for all mixtures studied, indicating that the dyes are preferentially solvated by complexes formed through hydrogen bonding between chloroform and the HBA component in the mixtures. A study of 1 in deuterated chloroform with an HBA component (DMF and DMA) demonstrated that while almost no differences occur with the DMF mixtures, the presence of deuterated chloroform in its mixtures with DMA increases the synergistic effect, suggesting that it interacts more strongly with DMA, making its mixtures more polar. These data were successfully fitted to a model based on solvent-exchange equilibria. The features of the mixtures with dye 3 revealed a very different profile in comparison with the other two dyes, which suggests that in mixtures containing chloroform, the microenvironment of the dye seems to be important in determining the contribution of the structure resonances responsible for the stability of the dye.  相似文献

A hybrid material with excellent mechanical and biological properties is produced by electrospinning a co‐solution of PET and collagen. The fibers are mapped using SEM, confocal Raman microscopy and collagenase digestion assays. Fibers of different compositions and morphologies are intermingled within the same membrane, resulting in a heterogeneous scaffold. The collagen distribution and exposure are found to depend on the PET/collagen ratio. The materials are chemically and mechanically characterized and biologically tested with fibroblasts (3T3‐L1) and a HUVEC culture in vitro. All of the hybrid scaffolds show better cell attachment and proliferation than PET. These materials are potential candidates to be used as vascular grafts.

Imatinib (IMAT) is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor that has been used for the treatment of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). Despite the efficacy of IMAT therapy, some cases of treatment resistance have been described in CML. Developing a plasma method is important since there are several studies that provided a higher correlation between IMAT plasma concentration and response to treatment. Therefore, in this investigation we validated a method by CE as an alternative, new, simple and fast electrophoretic method for IMAT determination in human plasma. The analysis was performed using a fused silica capillary (50 μm id×46.5 cm total length, 38.0 cm effective length); 50 mmol/L sodium phosphate buffer, pH 2.5, as BGE; hydrodynamic injection time of 20 s (50 mbar); voltage of 30 kV; capillary temperature of 35°C and detection at 200 nm. Plasma samples pre-treatment involved liquid-liquid extraction with methyl-tert-butyl ether as the extracting solvent. The method was linear from 0.125 to 5.00 μg/mL. The LOQ was 0.125 μg/mL. Mean absolute recovery of IMAT was 67%. The method showed to be precise and accurate with RSD and relative error values lower than 15%. Furthermore, the application of the method was performed in the analysis of plasma samples from CML patients undergoing treatment with IMAT.  相似文献

In this study a complementary analytical methodology for quality of paints evaluation was developed. Four different primers applied to steel substrates and submitted to accelerated laboratory and outdoor exposure tests were taken into account. After this, digitalized images were obtained from these samples using a conventional scanner. The images were converted in gray color scale histograms, the resulting data were organized into a matrix form and analyzed with the help of principal component analysis (PCA) and hierarchical cluster analysis (HCA). It was possible to identify the best primers performance avoiding subjective interpretation.  相似文献

This paper presents an unconventional way of detecting organic modifications in paints employing X-ray Spectroscopy (XRS) and Principal Component Analysis (PCA). For this purpose, three different paints (latex, corrective fluid and varnish) were applied onto wood substrates and then treated with infrared radiation and solar light at room temperature. X-ray fluorescence spectra were obtained using an Rh tube-EDXRF system, and PCA analysis was performed using the spectral region between 18 and 24keV. The scores plots showed a clear paint classification and separation according to treatment. This separation was promoted by Compton and Rayleigh scatterings. This study opens up new possibilities for analysing different materials, and it presents a new field for XRS.  相似文献
