Desorption of chloroorganic compounds from a bed of activated carbon   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The desorption of 1,2-dichloroethane from a bed of DTO activated carbon after adsorption from aqueous solution has been investigated. The desorption process was carried out using steam. The basic characteristics of the process were determined. The studies were performed in the temperature range 100-160 degrees C. A steam consumption indicator reduces with an increase of temperature from 100 to 140 degrees C. An elevation of temperature above 140 degrees C does not cause an improvement in the desorption efficiency. The number of performed cycles does not reduce the adsorption capacity of used activated carbon. Studies on the regeneration of the bed saturated with a seven-component mixture of chloroorganic compounds at temperature of 140 degrees C were carried out. The degree of removal of the sum of chloro-derivatives exceeded 0.96 at a volume ratio of steam (recalculated on the condensate) to bed of about 10. It was found that the dechlorination proceeds during desorption at elevated temperature. The quantitative ratio of chloro-derivatives in the desorbate was changed in comparison to the composition of wastewater directed to the adsorption.  相似文献

The ternary uranium(III) halides A2UX5 (A = K, Rb; X = Cl, Br, I) have been prepared from the binary components AX and UX3 in sealed tantalum containers. According to their Guinier X-ray powder patterns, they all crystallize with the K2PrCl5/Y2HfS5 type of structure. Lattice constants for ambient temperature are reported. Single-crystal structure refinemens were undertaken for K2UI5 and Rb2UCl5. Magnetic susceptibility data were recorded with a SQUID magnetometer from liquid helium to room temperature. One-dimensional (intrachain) and three-dimensional antiferromagnetic ordering occur at low temperatures dependent upon the U3+? U3+ distance. Absorption spectra were recorded between 4 000 and 28 000 cm?1. They show f—f transitions typical for U3+ and, depending on the halide, very strong f—d transitions above 14 000 to 15 000 cm?1, respectively.  相似文献

The mixed crystals of 1,2-bis(diethylaminomethyl)-3,6-di- and 3,4,6-trichloro-benzene perchlorate at 0.5:0.5 ratio have been studied using X-ray diffraction and FT-IR spectroscopy. The molecules of di- and tri-chloro derivatives are distributed randomly in the crystal lattice; however, this disorder manifested mainly by a partial occupation of the chlorine atom at C(4) and by relatively big atomic temperature parameters even at 99 K, particularly for the oxygens of the perchlorate anion. The proton in the [NHN]+ bond refined close to the equidistant position between the nitrogens. The conformations of the diethylaminomethyl substituents are pseudo-symmetrical relative to the plane and twofold axis passing through the midpoint of the hydrogen bond. The IR spectrum of the crystals shows a broad intense band and an intense continuous absorption indicating relatively high proton polarizability in the intramolecular hydrogen bond. In acetonitrile and in chloroform, the proton in the intramolecular hydrogen bond also shows a very high proton polarizability demonstrated by the continuous absorption in the IR spectrum.  相似文献

Summary A new method of the determination of thallic ions [Tl(III)] in the presence of thallous [Tl(I)] ones, based on the oxidizing properties of Tl(III) towards cysteine was proposed. Cysteine was employed as an initiator in the iodineazide reaction and the oxidized part of the initiator was eliminated from the induced reaction medium by the respective redox reaction; the reaction products do not affect the above reaction. The contents of thallic ions (50–500 ng) in the sample can be determined from the progress in the induced reaction by measuring the unreacted iodine. The relative experimental error of the determination does not exceed 6%.  相似文献

Allergen sensitization is being diagnosed by commonly available methods in clinical practice—skin prick tests (SPTs) and specific immunoglobulin E test (sIgE). Recently, a new thermographic (TH) method for the assessment of SPT was developed, and it was demonstrated that the TH measurements of forearm temperature distribution during SPT, supported by a mathematical model, offer a new quantification method of allergen-induced skin reactions. The aim of this study is a comprehensive comparison of the TH method with SPT and sIgE techniques. The studies were performed for a group of 51 patients. The SPT and sIgE examinations were done in a routine way. For TH analyses, set of thermograms of both forearms were acquired after prick and analyzed with the use of developed software. All results were converted into categorized scale for comparison. The collected results indicate high correlation coefficients between methods equal to 0.76–0.99. Sensitivity and accuracy of TH assessment in respect of both SPT and sIgE methods is at good level (0.72–0.93). Acceptable level of specificity 0.60–0.88 was also achieved for most allergic responses. Excellent agreement between SPT and sIgE methods was observed which makes the TH assessment competitive. Due to higher precision and sensitivity of digital infrared technology, possibility of making error in diagnosis is significantly reduced. Additional advantage of the TH method relies on an estimation of the skin reactivity which allows highlighting the hypersensitivity patients and automatic correction of the diagnosis.  相似文献

Azide ions (5–120 μg) are oxidized by cerium(IV) in an acidic medium. The nitrogen evolved is displaced by helium carrier and quantified by gas chromatography with a thermal conductivity detector. The paper presents a non-element method of solving boundary problems defined on polygonal domains modeled by corner points. To solve these problems a parametric integral equation system (PIES) is used. The system is characterized by a separation of the approximation of boundary geometry from the approximation of boundary functions. This feature makes it possible to effectively investigate the convergence of the obtained solutions with no need of performing the approximation of boundary geometry. The testing examples included confirm high accuracy of the solutions.  相似文献
