The relative yields of kaons and protons compared with the yield of pions at highp T and polar angles θ away from 90° (in the range from 10° to 45°) are presented forpp, dd, and αα interactions at a centre-of-mass energy \(\sqrt {s_{NN} } = 31\) GeV per nucleon-nucleon collision. The measured particle ratios depend on the atomic mass numberA of the beam particles and on θ. TheA dependence of the ratios becomes stronger for largerp T and is more pronounced at smaller polar angles.  相似文献

We present an analysis of minimum bias events from proton-proton collisions at \(\sqrt s = 7GeV\) in the CERN ISR. We remove the effects of both the leading protons and compare theB=0 mesonic residue of the events to the hadronic events of similar energy produced ine + e ? collisions. This comparison is presented in terms of the standard jet-type analyses involving quantities such as sphericity and aplanarity. We find significant differences between these data and the data frome + e ? annihilations. The data of this experiment are consistent with the predictions of a longitudinal phase space model.  相似文献

An optimization model was built based on the data of a pilot-scale (4.5 MN load, 225 KW power capacity) rolling mill to minimize the austenite grain sizes of Ti–V steels, which prevail at the instant of completion of the static recrystallization during hot rolling. A computer program developed for this optimization model was run for the rolling schedule, which is designed according to the complete recrystallization case. An energy optimization model developed previously was applied to different rolling schedules. The grain size optimization results demonstrate the effectiveness of these modelling approaches in terms of final grain size, final plate thickness, measured and computed roll force and torque values for both the design of the thermomechanical schedules which produce plate with fine-grained microstructures, high strength, and notch toughness and the temperature-reduction schedules of conventional controlled rolling.  相似文献

Gluon scattering processes are studied in hadronic highp T events using data obtained with the Split Field Magnet detector (SFM) at the CERN ISR. The experimental set-up allowed the scanning of a wide range of parton energies and scattering angles. It is shown that for positive pions as trigger particles, the parton composition of the recoil jet is correlated with the polar angle and transverse momentum of the triggering pion. Over the kinematical region studied, the recoil jet originates predominantly from scatered gluons, with an increasing prevalence of the gluon component towards forward triggering angles. The variation of the momentum structure of the recoil jet with the trigger angle indicates that the fragmentation function of gluons is softer than that of quarks.  相似文献

The requirements of beryllium monitoring are discussed. Emphasis is placed on developing an Analytical procedure which is rapid, simple to operate, of adequate sensitivity and of reasonable accuracy. For air analysis, beryllium bearing dust is collected on a membrane filter, the beryllium is obtained in solution and determined spectrophotometrically, using aurine tricarboxylic acid (aluminon) as reagent Interference due to other metals is avoided by the addition of suitable complexing agents.
