Activating Mixing in Modification of Rubbers in Solution

The applicability of the previously developed principles of activating mixing to modification of rubbers in solutions was tested, and a process was developed for mechanochemical modification of cis-1,4-polyisoprene in rotary pulsation apparatus.     

Process for Preparation and Modification of Formulations for Medicine,Based on Blends of Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight Polyethylene and Polysiloxane

A process is proposed for preparing formulations based on ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene and polysiloxane, yielding materials with the required adhesion between the phases. Procedures are developed for physicochemical modification of the compositions with the aim to prepare items for medical purposes with various properties on working surfaces.     

Preparation of Compounds of Epoxy Resins with Low-Molecular-Weight Carboxyl-containing Rubbers by Activating Mixing

A process was developed for preparing adhesives from a low-molecular-weight carboxyl-containing rubber and an epoxy resin with different oligomer ratios. The process involves the chemical reaction of the components under conditions of activating mixing.     

Local estimates of solutions of the stationary two-dimensional first boundary-value problem of magnetohydrodynamics

For solutions of a two-dimensional first boundary-value problem of magnetohydrodynamics, we obtaina priori asymptotic (for high Hartmann numbers) estimates of components of the velocity of a liquid and the stream function in the interior of the flow in spaces of continuous functions.     

Physicochemical Modification of Siloxane Compounds for Electrical Engineering in the Course of Mixing

The effect of silica fillers, used separately or in combination, on the rheological properties of siloxane compounds based on low- and high-molecular-weight rubbers was studied. A model was suggested for formation of the structure of filled compounds during mixing under conditions of shear stresses, and a procedure was proposed for preparing compounds for shells of high-voltage insulators produced by pressure casting.     

Activating Mixing in Preparation and Modification of Polymeric Composites

The concept of activating mixing as a procedure for preparing and modification of polymeric composites was developed. A new classification and generalized parameters of mixing, characterizing conditions of the energy supply to polymeric composition through the device working elements, were proposed. The dependence for determining the treatment modes providing controllable development of chemical transformations in a polymer system, which is invariant with respect to treatment modes and working installation, was obtained.     

Preparation and modification of low-viscous polymeric composites in rotary-pulsatory apparatus in the self-oscillating mode

Preparation and modification of low-viscous polymeric composites in rotary-pulsatory apparatus operating in the self-oscillating mode are described. These are synthesis of antioxidant dispersions, preparation of artificial latexes from an isoprene rubber, modification of epoxy resins with low-molecular-weight carboxyl-containing rubbers, modification of cis-1,4-polyisoprene with a salt of n-nitrosodiphenylamine. The possibility of substantial intensification of these processes is analyzed.     

On the triviality condition for the kernel of the linearized first boundary-value problem for a system of equations of magnetic hydrodynamics

The first boundary-value problem for a system of equations of magnetic hydrodynamics in a cylinder of infinite length with ideally conducting surface is considered under conditions in the case where it has a two-dimensional solution.
