A range of ruthenium cyclopentadienyl (Cp) complexes have been prepared and used for isomerization of allylic alcohols to the corresponding saturated carbonyl compounds. Complexes bearing CO ligands show higher activity than those with PPh3 ligands. The isomerization rate is highly affected by the substituents on the Cp ring. Tetra(phenyl)methyl-substituted catalysts rapidly isomerize allylic alcohols under very mild reaction conditions (ambient temperature) with short reaction times. Substituted allylic alcohols have been isomerized by employing Ru-Cp complexes. A study of the isomerization catalyzed by [Ru(Ph5Cp)(CO)2H] (14) indicates that the isomerization catalyzed by ruthenium hydrides partly follows a different mechanism than that of ruthenium halides activated by KOtBu. Furthermore, the lack of ketone exchange when the isomerization was performed in the presence of an unsaturated ketone (1 equiv), different from that obtained by dehydrogenation of the starting allylic alcohol, supports a mechanism in which the isomerization takes place within the coordination sphere of the ruthenium catalyst.  相似文献

A new and direct approach to verify surface heterogeneity as the microscopic origin of contact-angle hysteresis is demonstrated. IR-visible sum-frequency-generation spectroscopy (SFG) was used to selectively probe the molecules at the interface of an alkyl-side-chain polymer [poly(vinyl n-octadecyl carbamate-co-vinyl acetate)] with water. The spectra indicate that in contact with water, the polymer surface is heterogeneous (having areas of differing surface energies). This evidence of surface heterogeneity supports the hysteresis observed in the advancing and receding contact angles of the polymer surface with water. The same measurements made for the chemically and structurally similar surface of an octadecyltrichlorosilane self-assembled monolayer indicates a homogeneous surface at the water interface. In this case, contact-angle hysteresis measurements implicate surface roughness as the cause of hysteresis. Atomic force microscopy measurements of roughness for these surfaces further support our conclusions. The polymer-water interface was probed using SFG at above-ambient temperatures, and an order-to-disorder transition (ODT) of alkyl side chains at the interface was observed, which closely follows the melting of crystalline side chains in the bulk. This transition explains the increased wettability of the polymer, by water, when the temperature is raised above the bulk melting temperature. Furthermore, the irreversibility of this ODT suggests that the disordered polymer-water interface is the thermodynamic equilibrium state, whereas the before-heating structure of this interface is a kinetically hindered metastable state.  相似文献

Piano‐stool ([(p‐cymene)Ru(thz)Cl], 2 ) and six‐coordinated ([Ru(thz)2(PPh3)2], 3 ) ruthenium complexes derived from 2‐phenylthiazoline‐4‐carboxylic acid (Hthz, 1 ) were synthesized for the first time, and fully characterized using conventional methods. Also, the molecular structure of complex 3 was determined using X‐ray analysis. These complexes were evaluated as catalysts for transfer hydrogenation of carbonyl compounds in the presence of isopropyl alcohol and KOtBu. Abstract

In this study, a novel series of benzothiazole-thiazolylhydrazine (3a–3i) was synthesized and their structures were characterized by 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR spectrometry, and mass spectroscopy. These compounds were evaluated as inhibitors of type A and type B monoamine oxidase (MAO) enzymes. The most active compound 3b (2-((2-(2-(4-(4-Nitrophenyl)thiazol-2-yl)hydrazineylidene)-2-phenylethyl)thio)benzothiazole) showed strong inhibitory activity at hMAO-A (IC50 of 0.095?±?0.004?µM). Furthermore, compound 3i (2-((2-(2-(4-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)thiazol-2-yl)hydrazineylidene)-2-phenylethyl)thio)benzothiazole) showed significant inhibition profile on hMAO-A with the IC50 values 0.141?±?0.006?µM.  相似文献

In this work, acrylamide/itaconic acid copolymeric hydrogels are prepared by free radical polymerization initiated by redox initiators of potassium persulfate and N ,N ,N ′,N ′‐tetramethyl ethylene diamine; N ,N ′methylene bisacrylamide was employed as a crosslinking agent. Aniline monomer was absorbed in the network of poly(acrylamide‐co‐itaconic acid) P(AAm‐co‐IA) hydrogel and followed by gamma radiation induced polymerization at room temperature. The novel semi‐interpenetrating network was comprised of linear polyaniline immersed in P(AAm‐co‐IA) matrix. Electrical conductivity of the hydrogels was measured using four‐probe technique. The conductivities for the prepared hydrogels are found to increase from 5.5 × 10?7 S cm?1 for P(AAm‐co‐IA) alone to 4.4 × 10?3 S cm?1 for semi‐interpenetrating polymer network P(AAm‐co‐IA)/polyaniline. Thus, a new composite hydrogel with good conductive properties also displaying enhanced mechanical strength and pH sensitivity was prepared. Copyright © 2017 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

DOTA-conjugated peptides, such as [DOTA0, Tyr3]ocreotide (DOTATOC) and [DOTA0, Tyr3]octreotate (DOTATATE) can be labeled with radionuclides such as 90Y, 177Lu and 111In at high specific activities. These radiolabelled somatostatin analogues are used for peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT). Currently, radio-high performance liquid chromatography (radio-HPLC) and radio-thin layer chromatography (radio-TLC) are the methods of choice for the analysis of the labeled compounds. In literature, radiochemical purity of the radiolabelled DOTATATE was investigated using gradient reversed-phase radio-HPLC. However, these studies indicate long retention time of the radiolabelled compound of 14.52 min. In our study, a new simple and rapid reversed-phase isocratic system enables the radiochemical purity of the radiolabelled DOTATATE within a few minutes.  相似文献

Technetium-99m-sestamibi (99mTc-MIBI) is a small, lipophilic and cationic compound used for myocardial perfusion imaging. In addition, 99mTc-MIBI has been shown to be useful in identifying several types of tumors, such as breast, lung and thyroid cancers. The high quality of this radiopharmaceutical and its uniformity are very important facts for application of this preparation in clinical practice. The monograph for 99mTc-MIBI recommends at least 90% radiochemical purity (RCP) for clinical use. Various factors may influence the RCP of certain reagent kits. Some of these include the amount of activity added to the reagent kit, heating time and the age of the formulated kit. The effect of these factors on RCP of 99mTc-MIBI has been investigated using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and instant thin layer chromatography.  相似文献

In the last few years, researchers have an intense interest in the evolutionarily conserved signaling pathways which have crucial roles during embryonic development. The most intriguing factor of this interest is that malfunctioning of these signaling pathways (Hedgehog, Notch, Wnt etc.) leads to several human diseases, especially to cancer. This study deals with the β-catenin dependent branch of Wnt signaling and the Hedgehog signaling pathways which offer potential targeting points for cancer drug development. The identification of all proteins functioning in these signaling networks is crucial for the efforts of preventing tumor formation. Here, through integration of protein-protein interaction data and Gene Ontology annotations, Wnt/β-catenin and Hedgehog signaling networks consisting of proteins that have statistically high probability of being biologically related to these signaling pathways were reconstructed in Drosophila melanogaster. Next, by the structural network analyses, the crucial components functioning in these pathways were identified. The proteins Arm, Frizzled receptors (Fz and Fz2), Arr, Apc, Axn, Ci and Ptc were detected as the key proteins in these networks. Futhermore, the hub protein Mer having tumor suppressor function may be proposed as a putative drug target for cancer and deserves further investigation via experimental methods. Finally, the crosstalk analysis between the reconstructed networks reveals that these two signaling networks crosstalk to each other.  相似文献

In this study, water-distilled essential oils from the flowers of Tanacetum zahlbruckneri and flowers and stems of Tanacetum tabrisianum from Turkey were analysed by gas chromatography (GC) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). The flower oil of T. zahlbruckneri was characterised by the sesquiterpenes germacrene D (29.7%) and spathulenol (12%). Flower (A) and stem (B) oil of T. tabrisianum was characterised by 1,8-cineole: 17.6% (A), 22.5% (B), hexadecanoic acid: 10.3% (A), 8% (B), decanoic acid: 5.8% (A) and trans-linalooloxide acetate: 5.3% (A), 4% (B). Unlike a previous report on the essential oil composition of T. tabrisianum, in this study a 1,8-cineole and hexadecanoic acid-rich oil with a low percentage of caryophyllene oxide and spathulenol was obtained. The composition of the essential oil of endemic T. zahlbruckneri was investigated for the first time.  相似文献
