The feasibility of using bis(delta2-2-imidazolinyl)-5,5'-dioxime (H2L) for the selective extraction of iron(III) from aqueous solutions was investigated by employing an solvent-extraction technique. The extraction of iron(III) from an aqueous nitrate solution in the presence of metal ions, such as cobalt(II), copper(II) and nickel(II), was carried out using H2L in binary and multicomponent mixtures. Iron(III) extraction has been studied as a function of the pH, equilibrium time and extractant concentration. From the extracted complex species in the organic phase, iron(III) was stripped with 2 M HNO3, and later determined using atomic-absorption spectrometry. The extraction was found to significantly depend on the aqueous solution pH. The extraction of iron(III) with H2L increases with the pH value, reaching a maximum in the zone of pH 2.0, remaining constant between 2 and 3.5 and subsequently decreasing. The quantitative extraction of iron(III) with 5 x 10(-30 M H2L in toluene is observed at pH 2.0. H2L was found to react with iron(III) to form ligand complex having a composition of 1:2 (Fe:H2L).  相似文献

Analytical approaches have been developed for one-dimensional monochromatic delta-Eddington radiative transfer equation through a vertically inhomogeneous medium. They are based on the solution of the Riccati equation that arises from the decoupling of the two-stream radiances, and seek to approximate the exponent functions in the solution as opposed to finding the solution as a whole. Depending on the case, Green–Liouville approximation or other techniques presented in this paper are utilized for finding these exponents. Though developed for atmospheric radiative transfer problems applicable to the global climate change modelling, and for non-invasive medical applications on tissue–light interactions, the techniques considered here are quiet general in nature. Hence, they can also be useful in other boundary value problems of the diffusion type that involve linear second order ordinary differential equations with variable coefficients.  相似文献

The Ni(II), Cu(II) Co(II) and Zn(II) complexes of 2,3‐hydroxyimino‐4‐phenyl‐6‐phenyazo‐1‐thia‐4,5‐diaza‐ cyclohexa‐5‐diene (H2L) were synthesized. Thermal behavior of these complexes was studied in dynamic nitrogen atmosphere by TA (thermogravimetric analysis), DTA (differential thermal analysis) and DTG (differential thermal gravimetry) techniques. The reaction order, the activation energies, the entropies, the enthalpies, the free energies, and the pre‐exponential factors of the thermal decomposition reactions were calculated from the thermogravimetric curves. The kinetic analysis of the thermogravimetric data was performed by using several methods such as MacCallum‐Tanner (MT), van Krevelen (vK), Madhusudanan‐Krishnan‐Ninan (MKN), Wanjun‐Yuwen‐Hen‐Cunxin (WYHC), Horowitz‐Metzger (HM) and Coats‐Redfern method (CR) based on the single heating rate. Most appropriate methods were determined for each decomposition step according to the least‐square linear regression. The Ni(II), Cu(II) Co(II) and Zn(II) complexes displayed one‐ or two‐stage decomposition pattern when heating in a dynamic nitrogen atmosphere and metal oxides remained as end products of the complexes. The characterization of the end products of the decomposition was performed by X‐ray diffraction.  相似文献

Bis(Δ2-2-imidazolinyl)-5,5′-dioxime (H2L) and its nickel, cobalt, zinc, cadmium and mercury complexes have been prepared and tested in vitro against different microorganisms in order to assess their antimicrobial properties. We used Bacillus subtilis RSKK 244, Micrococcus flavus, Streptococcus faecalis RSKK 500, Staphylococcus aureus RSKK 490 from Gram-positive bacteria; Pseudomonas aeruginosa RSKK 356, Salmonella typhimurium RSKK 1017, Escherichia coli RSKK 550, Enterobacter aerogenes RSKK 720 from Gram-negative bacteria, Candida tropicalis RSKK 665 and Penicillium raciborskii IMI 40568. In this study, new benzoylthiourea derivatives, (E)-N-[(2-benzamidomethyleneamino)ethylcarbamothioyl]benzamide H3L′, N-(1-(3-benzoylthioureido)propan-2-ylcarbamothioyl)-benzamide H4L″, (E)-N-[4-(benzamidomethyleneamino)phenylcarbamothioyl]benzamide H3L‴, were synthesized. Structures of the compounds were identified by spectroscopic techniques. In addition, all synthesized compounds were evaluated for in vitro antibacterial and antifungal activity. Compound H3L‴ exhibited antibacterial activity.  相似文献

Abstract

The synthesis of poly(?-caprolactone-co-ethylene glycol) AAB star-type amphiphilic copolymers were carried out by use of a “click” chemistry reaction to block propargyl polyethylene glycol (propargyl-PEG) to terminally azide poly(?-caprolactone) (PCL-N3). For this purpose, propargyl-PEG was synthesized by the reaction of PEGs (3000?Da, 2000?Da, 1500?Da, and 1000?Da) and propargyl chloride. Terminally chloride poly(?-caprolactone) (PCL-Cl) was carried out by means of ring-opening polymerization (ROP) of ?-caprolactone (CL) and 3-chloro-1,2-propanediol. Synthesis of PCL-N3 was obtained by the chemical interaction of PCL-Cl and sodium azide. By reacting propargyl-PEG and PCL-N3, the star-type amphiphilic copolymers were obtained. The characterization of products was accomplished by using multiple instruments including 1H-NMR, FT-IR, GPC, TGA, contact angles, and elemental analysis techniques.  相似文献
