The performance of capillaries coated with a poly(diallyldimethylammonium) (PDADMA) monolayer or poly(diallyldimethylammonium)-poly(styrenesulfonate) bilayer was investigated and compared under micellar electrokinetic chromatographic (MEKC) conditions. Both monolayer (positively charged) and bilayer (negatively charged) coatings with micellar (sodium dodecyl sulfate) electrolyte generated very stable and pH-independent cathodal electroosmotic flow (EOF). From the results obtained, it can be concluded that in a doubly coated capillary the second poly(styrenesulfonate) layer is replaced by sodium dodecyl sulfate micelles during flushing with micellar electrolyte. Consequently, in order to obtain a stable and pH-independent cathodal electroosmotic flow for the MEKC separations, the capillary coating with the second polyanion layer is not necessary. The importance of the PDADMA coating was illustrated by comparing MEKC separations of the common developing agents (hydroquinone, phenidone, pyrocatechol, pyrogallol and quinone) on a bare uncoated capillary with the coated capillary. The coating provides reproducible MEKC separations at low pH (pH 3.0) with relative standard deviation (R.S.D.) values for migration times and peak areas lower than 0.45 and 3.3%, respectively. Good linearities in the range from 5 x 10(-5) to 2 x 10(-3) mol l(-1) were obtained for all five compounds, with correlation coefficients higher than 0.998. The detection limits were in the range from 5 x 10(-6) mol l(-1) for pyrocatechol to 2 x 10(-5) mol l(-1) for quinone. The proposed MEKC system was applied to the determination of hydroquinone and phenidone in X-ray photographic developer solutions.  相似文献

The enantioselective conjugate addition of diethylzinc to the activated nitroolefin methyl 3-nitropropenoate is efficiently catalyzed by copper(I) complexes with BINOL-based enantiopure phosphoramidite ligands. The nitroolefin moiety acts as the predominant Michael acceptor, giving rise to the unambiguous formation of 2-alkyl-3-nitro-propanoates. Moderate to excellent enantioselectivities and high chemical yields are obtained. The product can easily be transformed into a beta(2)-homoamino acid. [reaction--see text]  相似文献

Derivatives of 9-phenyl-9H-carbazole were synthesized as efficient emitters exhibiting both thermally activated delayed fluorescence and aggregation-induced emission enhancement. Effects of methoxy and tert-butyl substituents at the different positions of carbazolyl groups on the properties of the emitters were studied. Depending on the substitutions, photoluminescence quantum yields (PLQY) of non-doped solid films of the compounds ranged from 17 % to 53 % which were much higher than those observed for the solutions in low-polarity solvent toluene. Compounds substituted at C-3 and C-6 positions of carbazole moiety by methoxy- and tert-butyl- groups showed the highest solid-state PLQY. Ionization potentials of the studied derivatives in solid-state were found to be in the short range of 5.75–5.89 eV. Well-balanced hole and electron mobilities were detected for tert-butyl-substituted compound. They exceeded 10−4 cm2 (V×s)−1 at electric fields higher than 3×105 V cm−1. Two compounds with the highest solid-state PLQYs showed higher efficiencies in non-doped organic light-emitting diodes than in the doped devices. Maximum external quantum efficiency of 7.2 % and brightness of 15000 cd m−2 were observed for the best device.  相似文献

Enantiomers represent a class of compounds extensively investigated since they can show totally different behaviors when they interact with a chiral environment. Because of their identical chemical structure (they differ only in the spatial arrangement of the atoms in the molecule), the separation of optical isomers is a challenging task of analytical chemistry. So far employed methods for the separation of enantiomers are mainly based on chromatography. CE as well was considered as an analytical technique suitable for chiral separations, characterized by high efficiency and low consumption of reagent. Recently, miniaturization was introduced in LC to answer the needs to perform analyses in the minimum time, to use the smallest amount of samples and to reduce environmental pollution. Nano‐LC represents nowadays a valid alternative to the abovementioned conventional analytical techniques, and can be advantageously exploited for enantiomeric separation especially because it needs minute amounts of the chiral material necessary to carry out enantiomeric separations. This review describes the development and applications of nano‐LC in the field of chiral separations. The data reported in literature show its relevance for the study enantiomers‐chiral selectors interaction, as well as for application in pharmaceutical and clinical research.  相似文献

We show that the angle-wavelength spectra of light filaments excited by ultrashort pulses experience a transition from X- to O-like structures when their carrier wavelengths are switched from normal to anomalous dispersion. Calculations confirm that the O-shaped conical emission follows the elliptic geometry of the nonlinear Schr?dinger equation with anomalous dispersion.  相似文献

A method for the derivatization of agarose by covalent attachment of hydrophobic ligands for reversed-phase (RP) chromatographic separation and ionic groups for generation of electroosmosis under electrochromatographic conditions in the capillaries or microfluidic channels filled with the thermogel of this agarose derivative is described. The product renders a capability of reversible thermogelation. The thermogels formed provide sufficient hydrophobicity and electroosmosis for the separations of the analytes under RP mobile-phase conditions and electric field applied. The gels may be used repeatedly without loss of resolution. They are thermally replaceable and UV transparent (providing possibility in column/in-gel detection), require no covalent attachment to the capillary inner wall (or microchip channel), and are suitable for isocratic or gradient operation in the aqueous-organic mobile phases.  相似文献

Nonlinear losses accompanying self-focusing substantially impact the dynamic balance of diffraction and nonlinearity, permitting the existence of localized and stationary solutions of the 2D + 1 nonlinear Schr?dinger equation, which are stable against radial collapse. These are featured by linear, conical tails that continually refill the nonlinear, central spot. An experiment shows that the discovered solution behaves as a strong attractor for the self-focusing dynamics in Kerr media.  相似文献

Multiple filamentation induced by input-beam ellipticity   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
We provide what is to our knowledge the first experimental evidence that multiple filamentation (MF) of ultra-short pulses can be induced by input beam ellipticity. Unlike noise-induced MF, which results in complete beam breakup, the MF pattern induced by small input beam ellipticity appears as a result of nucleation of annular rings surrounding the central filament. Moreover, our experiments show that input beam ellipticity can dominate the effect of noise (transverse modulational instability), giving rise to predictable and highly reproducible MF patterns. The results are explained with a theoretical model and simulations.  相似文献
