Arenesulfonylimines of methyl trifluoropyruvate in the cyclocondensation reactions with 1,3-C,N-and-N,N-binucleophiles

Reaction of arenesulfonylimines of methyl trifluoropyruvate with 1,3-C,N-and-N,N-binucleophiles led to a variety of N-sulfonylated fluorine-containing heterocycles, including the fused ones. Diethoxyphosphorylimine of methyl trifluoropyruvate in cyclocondensation with 1,3-C,N-and-N,N-binucleophiles

Reaction of diethoxyphosphorylimine of methyl trifluoropyruvate with 1,3-C,N-and-N,N-binucleophiles led to a variety of N-phosphorylated fluorine-containing heterocycles, including the fused ones. Fluorinated triazinones from hexafluoroacetone ethoxycarbonylimine

The behavior of hexafluoroacetone ethoxycarbonylimine in cyclocondensation with different binucleophiles of the amidine type, viz., amino derivatives of N- and N,S-heterocycles, was studied. A preparative method for the synthesis of previously unknown annelated 2,2-bis(trifluoromethyl)-1,3,5-triazinones was developed.

Fluorinated 1,4,2-Oxazaphospholines and their Opening by Nucleophiles

We have found that fluorinated 1,4,2-oxazaphospholines are highly electrophilic phosphorylation reagents for alcohols, thiols, amines, and dialkyl phosphites. Phosphorylation proceeds by opening of the P-O bond to yield the corresponding phosphinates.     

Modification of gamma-carbolines with N-substituted propionamides as a new approach to mitoprotective agents

An approach to the modification of biologically active gamma-carbolines with the N-substituted propionamide fragments by the reaction of N-substituted acrylamides with gamma-carbolines catalyzed by cesium fluoride has been suggested. The compounds synthesized were studied for the influence on the functional characteristics of brain mitochondria, in particular, on the membrane potential, calcium-induced “swelling” and calcium capasity of the rat brain mitochondria.

Cyclocondensation of methyl 2-(5-methylisoxazol-3-yl)imino-3,3,3-trifluoropropionate with 1,3-binucleophiles

Cyclocondensation of methyl 2-(5-methylisoxazol-3-yl)imino-3,3,3-trifluoropropionate with 1,3-binucleophiles such as benzamidines, aminothiazoline, and 2-aminocrotonic acid nitrile results in trifluoromethyl-containing 3,5-dihydro-4-ones, 2,3-dihydro-6H-imidazo[2,1-b]thiazol-5-one, and 4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrrole-3-carbonitrile.
