Rapid access to 3-(N-substituted)-aminoquinolin-2(1H)-ones using palladium-catalyzed C-N bond coupling reaction

A series of 3-(N-substituted)-aminoquinolin-2(1H)-ones have been synthesized by the palladium-catalyzed C-N coupling reaction starting from 3-bromoquinolin-2-(1H)-ones. Various nucleophiles including amines, amides, sulfonamides, carbamates and ureas have been used successfully. In all the cases, the reactions take place rapidly in 1,4-dioxane and proceed in good to excellent yield using palladium acetate as a catalyst, Xantphos as a ligand and Cs₂CO₃ as a base.

A Blow-Up Result in a Nonlinear Wave Equation with Delay

In this paper, we consider a nonlinear wave equation with delay. We show that under suitable conditions on the initial data, the weights of the damping, the delay term and the nonlinear source, the energy of solutions blows up in a finite time.     

Étude d'un système non linéaire de Boussinesq–Stefan

Nickel‐Catalyzed Arylation,Alkenylation, and Alkynylation of Unprotected Thioglycosides at Room Temperature

Unprotected thioglycosides were effective nucleophiles for Ni⁰‐catalyzed C? S bond‐forming reaction with functionalized (hetero)aryl, alkenyl, and alkynyl halides. The functional‐group tolerance on the electrophilic partner was typically high and the anomeric selectivities of the thioglycosides were high in all cases. The efficiency of this general procedure was well‐demonstrated by the synthesis of 4‐methyl‐7‐thioumbelliferyl‐β‐D ‐cellobioside (MUS‐CB).     

A blow-up result in a Cauchy viscoelastic problem

In this work we consider a Cauchy problem for a nonlinear viscoelastic equation. Under suitable conditions on the initial data and the relaxation function, we prove a finite-time blow-up result.
