N-[(3-DimetLylamino)-propyll acrylamide(DMAPAA) and N-[(3dimetliylamino)-propyl] methacrylamide(DMAPMA) were synthesized by the reaction of 3-dimethylamino-propylamine with acryloyl and methacryloyl chloride respectively at 0-5℃ temperature. The kinetics of the aqueous solution polylmerization of acrylamide(AAm) by using ammonium persulfate(APS) combined with DMAPAA or DMAPMA was investigated. The rate equations were given as:respectively. The overall activation energies of the polymerization were determined as low as 35.0kJ/mol and 41.0kJ/mol respectively. Based on the end-group analysis results, the reaction mechanism of DMAPAA or DMAPMA with APS was proposed to be similar to the initiation reation of persulfate/tertiary aliphatic amine redox system,and the resulting aminomethyl radicals were responsible for initiation of vinyl polymerization as well as sulfate radical. 相似文献

STUDIES OF THE INITIATION MECHANISM OF VINYL POLYMERIZATION WITH THE SYSTEM PERSULFATE/N-ALKYL SUBSTITUTED ETHYLENEDIAMINE DERIVATIVES 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Effects of N-alkyi substituted ethylenediamine derivatives on vinyl polymerization using persulfate as initiator were studied. The apparent kinetic equations and overall activation energies of acrylamide polymerization were determined using the above mentioned system as initiator. The promoting activities of different diamine derivatives on vinyl polymerization are in the order of tertiary diamine>secondary diamine>primary diamine. Diamines having methyl groups as the substituent on their nitrogen atom possess higher promoting activity than that of having larger alkyl groups. The initial free radicals produced through the redox reaction of persuifate and diamines were studied by spin strapping technique and ESR spectroscopy. The results obtained confirm the fact that the initial free radicals of the diamine species can initiate vinyl polymerization and become the amino end group of the resulting polymers. 相似文献

<正> 铈离子与醇、醛、酮、α-羟基酸等组成的体系能引发烯类单体进行自由基聚合。关于铈离子与酯类化合物体系文献报道甚少。孙燕慧发现脂肪酸酯或芳香酸酯对铈离子引发丙烯酰胺(AAM)聚合能起促进作用,提高聚合速度只R_(p)但活性较小,相对聚合速度只,为1.3左右。本文研究了二元酸酯、乙酰乙酸乙酯(EACAC)分别与铈离子组成的体系引发AAM聚合,实验结果表明EACAC有很高的活性,它与铈离子组成的体系为一氧化还原引发体系。应用自由基捕捉技术和ESR波谱研究,能检测到由EACAC组分反应产生的自由基,从聚合物端基的FT-IR光谱分析,证实了该自由基能引发单体聚合而成为聚合物的端基。从而讨论了引发机理。 相似文献

The initiation mechanism of methyl methacrylate (MMA) polymerization by organic peroxide and polymerizable aromatic tertiary amine such as N-methacryloyloxyethyl-N-methyl aniline (MEMA) binary system has been studied. The kinetics of polymerization of MMA and the ESR spectra of organic peroxide/MEMA system were determined.
