利用量子力学的密度矩阵理论,在有效质量近似下,采用有限深势阱模型,导出了柱形量子点的三阶非线性极化率的解析表达式.通过数值计算,分析了GaAs/AlβGa1-βAs柱形量子点的三阶非线性极化率与量子点尺寸、掺杂浓度、入射光的频率和偏振方向等参量的关系.结果表明,三阶极化率峰值位置与这些参量密切相关,并且对于确定频率和偏振方向的入射光以及材料的掺杂浓度,存在与之相匹配的量子点尺寸,使三阶极化率达到极大,比体材料的相应值高出2个数量级以上.  相似文献

Various dyes are investigated for their capability of generating 3rd harmonic of Nd-laser light. The feasibility of achieving phase matching is demonstrated by direct measurements of the index of refraction. Third-harmonic conversion of hexamethylindocarbocyanine iodide, diethyloxacarbocyanine iodide and fuchsin red are compared. The highest conversion is obtained for hexamethylindocarbocyanine iodide (80 times higher than in fuchsin red). A further enhancement of the third harmonic by a factor of 70 is expected for the fundamental laser light at 1.15 μm.  相似文献

Third-harmonic generation (THG) for cubical quantum dots (CQDs) with an applied electric field is theoretically investigated in the framework of the compact-density-matrix approach and an iterative method. The confined wave functions and energies of electrons in the CQDs are calculated in the effective-mass approximation. Numerical calculations are presented for typical GaAs/AlAs CQDs. The results demonstrate that the THG strongly depends on the length of the CQDs and the magnitude of the electric field. Also, the peaks shift towards the higher energy region with increasing electric field.  相似文献

A tunable Ti:sapphire laser pumped by an intracavity frequency-doubled YAG laser was designed, and third-harmonic generation of the tunable Ti:sapphire laser was achieved by rotating the cardinal plane of the crystal through a multi-crystal cascade method. The parameters such as crystal length, time predelay, and intensity ratio related to the efficiency of third-harmonic generation are analyzed by nonlinear equations.  相似文献

Phase modulation to amplitude modulation (FM-to-AM) conversion occurring in phase modulated third-harmonic generation (THG, process 1ω + 2ω → 3ω) process is investigated. To suppress the FM-to-AM conversion, a group-velocity-matching relationship is derived, which appears to be dependent on the ratio of modulation depth of 2ω–1ω pulses. Numerical simulations indicate that the FM-to-AM conversion in phase-modulated THG process can be suppressed effectively by satisfying that group-velocity-matching relationship.  相似文献

Based on some numerical techniques such as split-step Fourier transformation, fourth-order Runge-Kutta and successive iteration method, the fundamental field was calculated from the known third-harmonic (TH) field in the process of TH generation (THG) using one doubling and one mixing KDP crystals. The effects of the monochromatic initial fields on the iteration numbers and the calculation precision were discussed. The inverse solution of the broadband laser pulse with linear frequency chirp was also carried out. The results show that the method proposed in this paper is available and efficient, which gives a new way to design and optimize the process of THG.  相似文献

The third-harmonic generations (THG) considering polaron effects in the two-dimensional quantum pseudodot system with a uniform magnetic field are theoretically studied. It is found that the THG coefficient is strongly affected not only by an external magnetic field, but also by the geometrical size of the pseudodot system. Moreover, the theoretical values of the THG is obviously increased when considering the electron–LO–phonon interaction.  相似文献

The third-harmonic generation (THG) in asymmetric coupled quantum wells (ACQWs) for different values of the well parameter ΔΔ and width of barrier (WB)(WB) are theoretically studied. The analytical expression of the third-harmonic generation is derived by using the compact density-matrix approach and the iterative method. Finally, the numerical calculations are presented for typical GaAs/AlxGa1−xAs asymmetric coupled quantum wells. Results obtained show that the third-harmonic generation in the asymmetric coupled quantum wells can be importantly modified by the parameter ΔΔ and WBWB. Moreover, third-harmonic generation also depends on the relaxation rate of the asymmetric coupled quantum wells.  相似文献

临界电流密度Jc是超导薄膜的一个重要参量,它可以衡量超导薄膜的功率承载能力。大面积高温超导薄膜制成后,其Jc需要被无损精确测量。文中提出了一种新的交流磁场下的高温超导薄膜临界态模型:(1)基于此模型对薄膜的临界电流密度进行了精确无损测量;(2)并将实验测量的三次谐波电压曲线进行拟合研究。首先,根据麦克斯韦方程和伦敦方程,计算外加直流磁场超导薄膜Meissner态下电流和磁场在薄膜内的分布;然后分析薄膜进入临界态后内部电流的变化,在考虑顶扎力作用的情况下,提出了临界态电流和磁场非均匀分布模型;最后根据其模型,推导出三次谐波电压的表达式。为了验证该理论,分别对四片超导薄膜在不同频率下进行了三次谐波和临界电流密度测量。实验结果表明:三次谐波电压的理论与实验曲线一致;与四点传输法的测量结果相比较,该方法测量超导薄膜临界电流密度的误差在5%左右,具有高精度、无损伤、方便快捷等优点。  相似文献

Efficient frequency-tripling of phase-modulated broadband Nd:glass laser pulses is of interest to inertial confinement fusion. We report and theoretically study an efficient frequency-tripling scheme for 351 nm broadband pulses generation by use of broadband and narrowband Nd:glass lasers. Based on the conventional two-crystal doubling and tripling baseline configuration, employing an additional narrowband laser can increase the bandwidth acceptance of Nd:glass up to 320 GHz, which is 3.5 times larger than that of using the conventional configuration. The proposed scheme may also dramatically reduce the conversion of amplitude modulation from the frequency modulation. The efficiency sensitivities on both the fundamental intensity and the doubler orientation are discussed for practical applications.  相似文献
