Serrated jet nozzles are considered to be an efficient and practical passive control approach for jet noise. However, some fundamental mechanisms of serration effects on jet noise are not fully understood, especially in terms of the sound source. In this paper, a high-fidelity simulation framework using large-eddy simulation (LES) is demonstrated to predict near-field turbulence and far-field acoustics from an ultra-high-bypass-ratio engine with round and serrated nozzles. Far-field sound is predicted using Ffowcs Willams–Hawkings (FWH) integration. The results show that the serrated nozzle increases mixing near the nozzle and hence the turbulence decay rate, reducing the turbulence level downstream. The serrations shift the energy from the low frequencies to the high frequencies and decrease overall sound pressure levels by about 3 dB over the low-frequency range. Sound sources are analysed based on fourth-order space–time correlations. There are six major source components (R1111, R2222, R3333, R1313, R1212, and R2323) inside the jet shear layers. The serrations are able to reduce the amplitude of these source terms, causing them to decay rapidly to a level below the round nozzle jet within 2D downstream of the nozzle.  相似文献

自由活塞斯特林发动机活塞往复振动位移对研究发动机特性具有重要意义,然而该类发动机活塞位于高压封闭腔体内且结构较为紧凑,其活塞往复振动位移难于直接进行测量。加速度传感器具有尺寸小、安装方便和工作稳定等特点,提出了采用加速度传感器测量活塞位移的方法。根据加速度传感器测量位移的原理,建立了一套加速度传感器测量自由活塞斯特林发动机活塞位移的标定试验系统,以位移传感器为基准测试并分析了不同活塞振幅和不同振动频率下加速度传感器测量位移的误差大小。实验结果表明,在活塞振幅小于8 mm,振动频率大于20 Hz条件下,加速度传感器测量位移的误差小于5%。因此加速度传感器可以用于测量自由活塞斯特林发动机的活塞往复运动位移。最后成功把加速度传感器测量的自由活塞斯特林发动机活塞振动位移用于发动机循环指示功的实验研究。  相似文献

The use of liquid fuels such as kerosene is of interest for the Pulse Detonation Engine (PDE). In this context, a representative gaseous mixture of the lighter products resulting from the decomposition of a kerosene of type JP-10 was studied. The detonability limits of simple components (hydrogen, ethylene, propylene) and mixtures of these components were tested in a 50 mm diameter and 2.5 m long detonation tube. This dimension is compatible with the applications of the aircraft industry and more particularly the PDE. The influences of the nitrogen dilution, geometry of the DDT device (Schelkin spiral), ignition energy and initial pressure were investigated. Electrical aspects of aircraft jet engine operation are considered. A phenomenon previously observed experimentally, namely, the disappearance of the engine current and alternating electric signal induced by the engine jet in the afterburner regime, is explained. It is shown that this phenomenon results from the detachment of electrons from negative ions when the gas temperature in the afterburner increases. This leads to an increase in the effective conductivity of the gas. As a result, the engine current circuit is closed on the internal duct walls and engine charging becomes insignificant.A physico-mathematical model of the electrical processes in the afterburner is formulated and model problems are solved.  相似文献

某四缸柴油机在试制中出现机体裂纹现象,为保证内燃机正常工作,机体裂纹问题急待处理.应用力学理论对此进行分析,得出机体裂纹是由机体受力不均匀引起的结论.同时采用实验应力分析方法,对两种四缸柴油机机体进行了对比实验研究,在实验中发现了缸垫对机体受力和缸套变形的影响,从而提出了一种有效的改进方法,使机体的应力有明显下降,并不再出现裂纹,也未出现漏油、漏气和活塞拉缸等不良现象,大大提高了产品可靠性.  相似文献

确定计算模型时,发动机定子按实际刚度,采用NASTRAN70.0程序对发动机整机进行了动力分析,分析结果与试验进行了比较,吻合度优于美国GE公司计算结果。作者认为造成偏磨故障的原因是弹性环压死,使压气机转子与定子反向平动的第六阶临界转速上升到接近放气阀门关闭时转速所致。根据动力响应计算结果,装配工艺采取措施后,克服了此偏磨故障。  相似文献

研制了一种用于船用柴油机的摩擦学状态在线监测系统。它集磨粒监测,润滑油质量监测,柴油机扭矩及时转速监测于一体,利用在线铁谱技术监测润滑油中的铁磁性磨粒,利用容栅型电容传感器在线监测污染物引起的润滑油介电常数的变化,利用光电传感器和随轴转动齿盘产生的脉冲及相位差在线测量柴油机输出轴的扭矩及瞬时转速。此外,该监测系统还可将柴油机的磨损状态与动力状态相关联,监测由于各缸爆排压力变化造成的瞬时转速变化,从  相似文献

本文通过一新的三维电子散斑干涉方法,结合四步相移技术和图象处理技术,从三幅全场散斑位相条纹图分离出独立的u、υ、w场位移。测量系统的特点是用三个激光器作为光源,一个PZT相移器推动三个反射镜产生参考光并实现相移以及CCD摄像机前放置大错位剪切镜。将该测量系统应用到柴油机机身部件测量上,得到了机身主轴承孔周的三维位移场,并将此结果作为有限元计算的边界条件,得到了精确的柴油机机身计算结果,证明这一新技术可为柴油机零部件的强度和刚度分析评价提供一种十分有效的方法。  相似文献

Biodiesel is biodegradable and nontoxic, and it significantly reduces toxic and other emissions when burned as a fuel. The advantages of biodiesel as diesel fuel are its portability, ready availability, renewability, higher combustion efficiency, non-toxicity, higher flash point, and lower sulfur and aromatic content, higher cetane number, and higher biodegradability. The major disadvantages of biodiesel are its higher viscosity, lower energy content, higher cloud point and pour point, higher nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions, lower engine speed and power, injector coking, engine compatibility, high price, and greater engine wear. The technical disadvantages of biodiesel/fossil diesel blends include problems with fuel freezing in cold weather, reduced energy density, and degradation of fuel under storage for prolonged periods. The sources of biodiesel are vegetable oils and fats. The direct use of vegetable oils and/or oil blends is generally considered to be unsatisfactory and impractical for both direct injection and indirect type diesel engines because of their high viscosities and low volatilities injector coking and trumpet formation on the injectors, higher level of carbon deposits, oil ring sticking, and thickening and gelling of the engine lubricant oil, acid composition. Biodiesel is obtained by transesterifying triglycerides with methanol. A popular variation of the batch transesterification process which needs high alcohol/acid ratio (several separation problems and high corrosivity and toxicity) is the use of continuous stirred tank reactors in series. This continuous process is heterogeneous and is based on reactive distillation. The key factor is the selection of the right and effective solid catalyst which leads to reduction of energy consumption and investments at all.  相似文献
