Opinions are rarely binary; they can be held with different degrees of conviction, and this expanded attitude spectrum can affect the influence one opinion has on others. Our goal is to understand how different aspects of influence lead to recognizable spatio-temporal patterns of opinions and their strengths. To do this, we introduce a stochastic spatial agent-based model of opinion dynamics that includes a spectrum of opinion strengths and various possible rules for how the opinion strength of one individual affects the influence that this individual has on others. Through simulations, we find that even a small amount of amplification of opinion strength through interaction with like-minded neighbors can tip the scales in favor of polarization and deadlock. 相似文献

在前文建立的分相共存快速床动力学模型的基础上,对分相模型中存在颗粒团聚物时的上升稀相进行了受力分析。以有限直径提升管中颗粒终端速度的修正,导出了上升稀相受力关于等效管径与浓稀相滑移速度的修正表达式。将本模型预报的上部稀相固含率与已有的实验数据经验关联式进行了对比,并根据所得结果初步优化了模型参数(k=8,n=6)。进而,根据所得模型参数计算了下部浓相固含率随曳力函数f(ε)的变化规律;与李佑楚经验关联式相比,同样具有合理的一致性。本文工作进一步验证了快速床动力学统一模型的整体合理性。 相似文献

太阳光泵浦激光器直接利用太阳光作为泵浦源,实现了太阳光能量到激光能量的直接转化。设计了分腔水冷型金属锥形泵浦腔,以直径8mm,长115mm的Nd:YAG晶体棒作为激光工作物质,用有效面积1.03m2菲涅尔透镜会聚太阳光,实验获得了23.7 W的稳定激光输出,斜效率为7.87%。通过对比实验,改进后的分腔水冷型太阳光泵浦激光器较原有锥形腔激光器有55.92%的激光输出功率提升。分别从侧面泵浦光在冷却水中的吸收损耗以及其耦合效率等方面对新型腔体结构进行了分析,证实了分腔水冷型腔体结构对侧面泵浦效率的提高,并提出了陶瓷漫反射材质的分腔水冷型激光腔的设计。 相似文献

针对astroblaster多体碰撞过程,运用分离碰撞模型和同时碰撞模型进行分析,对分离碰撞模型给出了计算公式,对同时碰撞模型则进行了计算机模拟.首先,采用刚性分离模型研究二体、三体碰撞物体的运动速度、弹射高度与碰撞体质量之间的关系,得到弹射高度最大化的条件;其次,利用计算机模拟建立同时碰撞模型,研究物体弹性性质对碰撞的影响,分析物体在碰撞时加速度的变化情况,给出在同时碰撞模型下弹射高度最大化的条件. 相似文献

In this paper, the critical behavior of the general XY spin chain with the Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya (DM) interaction is studied by means of a Loschmidt Echo (LE) calculation. LE presents a Gauss decay in the region of magnetic field intensity |λ|<1 and an exponential decay in the region of |λ|>1. There exists a critical spin chain size NC. When spin chain size is larger than NC, the value of λ corresponding to the minimum value of LE (λm) is independent of the spin chain size and keeps a stable value. In the region of λ<0, the stable value is same for different DM interactions. In the region of λ>0, the stable value varies with changing DM interaction. 相似文献

This is the third part of a trilogy on parallel solution of the linear elasticity problem. We consider the separate displacement ordering for a plain isotropic problem with full Dirichlet boundary conditions. The parallel solution methods presented in the first two parts of the trilogy are here generalised to higher order by using hierarchical finite elements. We discuss node numberings on regular grids for high degree of parallelism and even processor load as well as the problem of stability of the modified incomplete Cholesky factorisations used. Several preconditioning techniques for the conjugate gradient method are studied and compared for quadratic finite elements. Bounds for the condition numbers of the corresponding preconditioning methods are derived, and computer experiments are performed in order to confirm the theory and give recommendations on the choice of method. Sonar is extensively used in robot as a range sensor and the time-of-flight (TOF) information of ultrasonic echo is frequently adopted in sonar applications. This paper proposes a Jump-U model of ultrasonic echo pattern based on TOF data for a sonar ranging module. The model is established through a data regression method, utilizing TOF data and the relation between the delay time and the bearing angle of the sensor as input parameters. Because the proposed model can explain the jump phenomenon of TOF data and the shape of TOF data is similar to character U, the model is named as Jump-U. Moreover, the model includes several parameters, and one of them is intensity factor which can be regard as a relative strength of ultrasonic echo. Experiments are conducted to verify the proposed model by measuring the echo’s TOF data of a plane with distances ranging from 100 to 200 cm.
