In this research work, selenium dioxide (SeO2) nanorods have been prepared by a solvothermal method in which a strong reducing agent (NaBH4) was used to reduce precursor salt into SeO2 nanorods. X-ray diffraction (XRD) technique was applied to observe the crystal structure which confirmed its tetragonal geometry. Moreover, morphology and particle size were studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). SEM fully described the 1-dimensional morphology of SeO2 nanorods which then arranged themselves to create a 3-dimensional flower-like structure with an average particle size of 50 nm. Also, the catalytic activity of SeO2 nanorods as diesel-additive was studied by defining different parameters such as fire and flash points, calorific value, cloud and pour points, specific gravity, and kinematic viscosity. Subsequently, SeO2 nanorods proved to be an excellent diesel additive due to higher total heat content and lower value of kinematic viscosity which enhances the better performance of the diesel engine.  相似文献

Post injection has significant benefit in the reduction of diesel soot emissions. Therefore, there is a need to understand the effect of post-injection strategy on soot physicochemical properties and reactivity because they play an important role in soot oxidation process that governs the final soot emissions. This work focuses on the impact of post injection on the physicochemical properties and reactivity of diesel in-cylinder soot using a main plus post injection (M*P) and a single injection (M) strategy. The soot was sampled by a developed total cylinder sampling system, and the dividing points of soot formation-dominant and oxidation-dominant phases were used for studying the impacts of post injection on the characteristics of in-cylinder soot. The physicochemical properties of the soot samples, including primary particle size, nanostructure, carbon chemical state and surface functional groups, were characterized. The soot reactivity was evaluated in terms of peak temperature, burnout temperature and apparent activation energy. In the oxidation-dominant phase, the M*P soot initially possesses smaller primary particle size, shorter fringe length, larger tortuosity, lower sp2/sp3 hybridization ratio of carbon atoms and higher content of aliphatic CH groups than the M soot. The beneficial influence of physicochemical properties on soot reactivity when using post injection is validated by the thermogravimetric data, which shows that the M*P soot is more reactive than the M soot at the onset of the oxidation-dominant phase. In the M*P case, the soot generated from the main-injection combustion has lower reactivity than the soot from the post-injection combustion after they experience the soot formation-dominant phase. The results indicate that the use of post injection leads to in-cylinder soot with physicochemical properties that favor reactivity. The enhancement of reactivity means that the soot will be more readily oxidized in the subsequent combustion process, and consequently contributes to a reduction in final soot emissions.  相似文献

采用破乳诱导萃取的前处理方法,结合电感耦合等离子体质谱技术(ICP-MS),测定了柴油中的锰、铁和铅元素。首先将样品和表面活性剂溶液(Triton X-114)混合形成稳定的油包水乳液,以硝酸作萃取剂充分萃取柴油中的锰、铁和铅,然后将乳液离心破乳分层,采用ICP-MS内标法测定酸性水相中的锰、铁和铅。3种元素的检出限(3S/N)在0.008~0.083μg·L-1之间,测定下限(10S/N)在0.027~0.28μg·L-1之间。应用该方法对柴油中金属元素进行测定,加标回收率在94.9%~106%之间,相对标准偏差(n=6)在0.66%~2.2%之间。  相似文献

Although the compression ignition engines are a significant source of power, their detrimental emissions create considerable problems to the environment as well as to humans. The objective of the present experimental investigation is to examine the effects of the magnetic nanofluid fuels on combustion performance characteristics and exhaust emissions. In this regard, the Fe3O4 nanoparticles dispersed in the diesel fuel with the nanoparticle concentrations of 0.4 and 0.8 vol% were employed for combustion in a single-cylinder, direct-injection diesel engine. After a series of experiments, it was demonstrated that the nanoparticle additives, even at very low concentrations, have considerable influence in diesel engine characteristics. Furthermore, the results indicated that the nanofluid fuel with nanoparticle concentration of 0.4 vol% shows better combustion characteristics in comparison with that of 0.8 vol%. Based on the experimental results, NO x and SO2 emissions dramatically reduce, while CO emissions and smoke opacity noticeably increase with increasing the dosing level of nanoparticles.  相似文献

基于实验室对柴油车用V2O5-WO3/TiO2催化剂配方以及涂覆成型技术的大量研究,设计了一条产量为6000只/月的NH3选择性催化还原NOx (NH3-SCR)催化剂中试生产线,并对生产的催化剂产品进行了发动机台架测试. 结果表明,实验室制备的V2O5-WO3/TiO2粉体催化剂和生产线产品,在空速为50000 h-1和200-450 ℃条件下NOx转化率均可达80%以上;采用大尺寸堇青石载体涂覆后制备的V2O5-WO3/TiO2整体催化剂经实验室小样测试,在空速为10000-30000 h-1和250-450 ℃条件下NOx转化率也为80%以上. 发动机台架测试结果表明,该催化剂产品可使重型柴油机NOx排放达到国IV标准中欧洲稳态循环(ESC)和欧洲瞬态循环(ETC)排放限值的要求. 该生产线经适当调整后也可用于生产非钒基NH3-SCR整体催化剂,以满足未来钒基NH3-SCR催化剂更新换代的需求.  相似文献

A new discrimination method, called hit quality index (HQI)-voting, that uses the HQI for discriminant analysis has been developed. HQI indicates the degree of spectral matching between two spectra as known. In this method, a library sample yielding the highest HQI value for an unknown sample was initially searched and a group containing this sample was chosen as the group for the unknown sample. When overall spectral features of two groups are quite close to each other, many library samples with similar HQI values could be available for an unknown sample. In this situation, the simultaneous consideration of multiple votes (several library samples with close HQI values) for final decision would be more robust. In order to evaluate the discrimination performance of HQI-voting, three different near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopic datasets composed of two sample groups were used: (1) domestic and imported sesame samples, (2) domestic and imported Angelica gigas samples, and (3) diesel and light gas oil (LGO) samples. For the purpose of comparison, principal component analysis–linear discriminant analysis (PCA–LDA), partial least squares–discriminant analysis (PLS–DA) as well as k-nearest neighbor (k-NN) were also performed using the same datasets and the resulting accuracies were compared. The discrimination performances improved with the use of HQI-voting in comparison with those resulted from PCA–LDA and PLS–DA. The overall results support that HQI-voting is a comparable discrimination method to that of existing factor-based multivariate methods.  相似文献

The extractive desulfurization of dibenzothiophene(DBT),benzothiophene(BT),and 4,6-dimethyldi-benzothiophene (4,6-DMDBT) in model oil was carried out using anhydrous FeCl3 and 1-methyl-3-octylimidazolium chloride system([Omim|Cl·2FeCl3).This new system exhibited high extractive efficiency and the sulfur removal of DBT in model oil(VIL/Voil=1/20) could reach 99.4%at room temperature for 30 min,which was obviously superior to single[Omim]Cl as extractant(22.9%).When the[Omim|CI·2FeCl3 was used,the S-removal of 4,6-DMDBT and BT could also be up to 99.3%and 96.2%, respectively.Moreover,the ionic liquid could be recycled five times without a significant decrease in extractive ability.  相似文献

Aiming for the highly sensitive analysis of aromatic hydrocarbons in organic mixtures, selective ionization using an ultraviolet laser ionization technique was examined for the determination of sputtered neutral species on organic surfaces. The mass spectrum of a model mixture containing pyrene and n‐alkane showed that only pyrene was ionized and detected, whereas a mass spectrum without laser irradiation, i.e. in the case of secondary ion mass spectrometry, was dominated by many n‐alkane fragment peaks. This technique was applied for the detection of polyaromatic hydrocarbons adsorbed on diesel exhaust particles. Two kinds of polyaromatic hydrocarbons were clearly detected because many aliphatic fragment signals were suppressed by means of ultraviolet laser ionization. In order to improve the precision of quasi-dimensional combustion model for predicting diesel engine performance and promote the real time operating performance of the simulation model, a new phase-divided spray mixing model is proposed and the quasi-dimensional combustion model of diesel engine working process is developed. The software MATLAB/Simulink is utilized to build the quasi-dimensional combustion model of diesel engine working process, and the performance for diesel engine is simulated. The simulation results agree with experimental data quite well. The comparisons between them show that the relative error of power and brake specific fuel consumption is less than 2.8% and the relative error of nitric oxide and soot emissions is less than 9.1%. By utilization of this simulation model with personal computer, the average computational time for one diesel engine working process is 36 s, which presents good real time operating performance of the model. At the same time, the influence of parameters in calculation of air entrainment on prediction precision of diesel engine’s simulation model is analyzed.  相似文献
