Textile and dye industries are main sources of dye bearing effluent. In present studies the anaerobic biological degradation of Acid Red 3BN dye water (AR3BNDW) and mixed dye water (MDW) for reduction of color and COD were studied in sequential batch reactor (SBR). The sludge as sources of microorganism was arranged from maize processing bio methanation wastewater treatment plant, which was acclimatized for treatment of AR3BNDW and MDW. After the acclimatization, dyes degradation were studied in SBR At optimum operation condition of hydraulics retention time (HRT) = 2.5 d, and treatment time (tR) = 16 h, AR3BNDW have gone maximum 87% color reduction of 500 mg/L dye, and 82.8% COD reduction of 380 mg/L COD. At same operating condition, 84.5% color reduction of 500 mg/L dye, and 79.42% COD reduction of 413 mg/L COD achieved for MDW. The second order Grau model was fitted well for COD and dye reductions. The B←N unit has a large dipole and it is isoelectronic to C−C moiety with no dipole. Incorporating B←N units into π-conjugated system is a powerful strategy to design organic small molecules and polymers with intriguing opto-electronic properties and excellent opto-electronic device performance. However, it is unclear how the B←N unit affects electronic structures and opto-electronic properties of large π-conjugated molecules. In this work, to address this question, we developed three dibenzo-azaacene molecules in which two B←N units were introduced at different positions. Although the dibenzo-azaacene skeleton is fully π-conjugated, the effect of B←N unit on the electronic structures of the adjacent rings is much stronger than that of the distant rings. As a result, the three molecules with isomerized B←N incorporation patterns possess different electronic structures and exhibit tunable opto-electronic properties. Among the three molecules, the centrosymmetrical molecule exhibits higher LUMO/HOMO energy levels than those of the two axisymmetrical molecules. When used as the active layer in organic field-effect transistors (OFETs), while the two axisymmetrical molecules show unipolar electron transporting property, the centrosymmetrical molecule exhibits ambipolar hole and electron transporting behavior. This work not only deepens our understanding on organoboron π-conjugated molecules, but also indicates a new strategy to tune opto-electronic properties of organic semiconductors for excellent device performance. 相似文献

以经典热力学第二定律ΔG<0为依据,分析了静态高温高压触媒法合成立方氮化硼(cBN)过程中发生的可能反应.考虑温度和压强对反应物相体积的影响,计算了六方氮化硼(Li3N-hBN)体系中hBN+Li3N→Li3BN2,h BN→cBN及Li3BN2→Li3N+cBN反应在高温高压条件下的ΔG.结果证实,Li3BN2由Li3N与hBN在高温高压(T>1300 K,P>3.0 GPa)条件下反应得到,在cBN的合成(T=1600~1800 K,P=4.6~6.0 GPa)条件下,hBN和Li3BN2都有向cBN转化的倾向,但由hBN向cBN直接转变的反应自由能比Li3BN2分解生成cBN的反应自由能更负,反应的可能性更大.探讨了高温高压条件下立方氮化硼的转变机理。 相似文献

Boron-nitride (BN) domains in graphene or graphene domains in BN monolayer offer additional freedoms for tuning the electronic properties of these BN/C nanostructures, which is quite crucial for the applications in nanoscale devices. Based on first-principles calculations combined with a simple Hubbard model, we show that the electron zero-energy states (ZESs) of BN/graphene core–shell quantum dots (QDs) in triangular shapes can be well tuned by varying the size and topology of each domain. The net spin of the systems is dominated by the graphene segment which can be described by a Lieb?s theorem. We also demonstrated that a π-electron Hubbard model within a mean-field approximation is implementable in dealing with the electron spin-polarization of BN/C hetero-structured graphene-like materials. This provides an efficient theoretical approach for the BN/C systems where electron spin-polarization is involved. 相似文献

New BN‐heterocyclic compounds have been found to undergo double arene photoelimination, forming rare yellow fluorescent BN‐pyrenes that contain two B? N units. Most significant is the discovery that the double arene elimination can also be driven by excitons generated electrically within electroluminescent (EL) devices, enabling the in situ solid‐state conversion of BN‐heterocycles to BN‐pyrenes and the use of BN‐pyrenes as emitters for EL devices. We have exploited the reactivity of antiaromatic boroles, gaining access to aryl‐substituted monocyclic 1,2‐azaborinines. The observed ring‐expansion reaction of inherently electron‐deficient boroles with organometallic and organic azides is demonstrated for representative examples. This substance class is expected to provide a new avenue into 1,2‐azaborinine chemistry, especially in the area of functional organoboron materials. Our results are based on NMR and UV/Vis spectroscopy as well as single‐crystal X‐ray crystallography and provide a virtually quantitative approach that also offers numerous points of variation. 相似文献

The low‐temperature reduction of N2O plays a significant role for solving the growing environmental and health issues caused by emission of this greenhouse gas. The aim of this study is to investigate the possible reaction pathways for the reduction of N2O by CO or SO2 molecule over Si‐doped boron nitride nanosheet (Si‐BNNS). According to our results, a B or N‐vacancy defect in BN sheet could be able to greatly stabilize the single Si adatom. The relatively large diffusion barrier for the Si atom over the defective BN sheet also indicates Si‐BNNS is stable enough to be utilized in catalytic reduction of N2O. The large charge‐transfer from the surface to N2O leads to the spontaneous dissociation of this molecule into N2 molecule and an activated oxygen atom (Oads). The Oads moiety is then eliminated by CO or SO2 molecule. The calculated activation energies and reaction energies reveal that the Si atom located on top of the B‐vacancy site has a large catalytic activity toward the reduction of N2O by CO or SO2. 相似文献
