Micromotion induced by the radio-frequency field contributes greatly to the systematic frequency shifts of optical frequency standards. Although different strategies for mitigating this effect have been proposed, trapping ions optically has the potential to provide a generic solution to the elimination of micromotion. This could be achieved by trapping a single ion in the dipole trap composed of a highpower laser field. Here, we present the setup of the dipole trap composed of a 532 nm laser at a power of 10 W aiming to optically trap a single ~(40)Ca~+ and we observe an AC-Stark shift of the fluorescence spectrum line of ~22 MHz caused by the 532 nm dipole beam. The beam waist of the dipole laser is several microns, which would provide a dipole potential strong enough for all-optical trapping of a single ~(40)Ca~+ ion. 相似文献

The pursuit of a systematic frequency uncertainty beyond 10-18 clock has triggered a multitude of investigations on the multipolar and higher-order lattice light shifts. The Cd atom has been proposed as a new candidate for the development of a lattice clock because of its smaller blackbody radiation shift at room temperature. Here, we apply an improved combined method of the Dirac-Fock plus core polarization and relativistic configuration interaction methods to calculate the dynamic multipolar polarizabilities of the Cd clock states. The effects of the high-order core-polarization potentials on the energies, reduced matrix elements, and multipolar polarizabilities have been evaluated systematically. The detailed comparison with available literature demonstrates that taking into account of the high-order core-polarization potentials is a simple and effective approach to improve the results of atomic properties for heavy atoms. 相似文献

We propose and demonstrate an alternative method for spectral filtering and frequency stabilization of both 780-nm and 960-nm lasers using a high-finesse length-tunable cavity(HFLTC). Firstly, the length of HFLTC is stabilized to a commercial frequency reference. Then, the two lasers are locked to this HFLTC using the Pound–Drever–Hall(PDH) method which can narrow the linewidths and stabilize the frequencies of both lasers simultaneously. Finally, the transmitted lasers of HFLTC with each power up to about 100 μW, which act as seed lasers, are amplified using the injection locking method for single-atom Rydberg excitation. The linewidths of obtained lasers are narrowed to be less than 1 k Hz, meanwhile the obtained lasers' phase noise around 750 k Hz are suppressed about 30 d B. With the spectrally filtered lasers, we demonstrate a Rabi oscillation between the ground state and Rydberg state of single-atoms in an optical trap tweezer with a decay time of(67 ± 37) μs, which is almost not affected by laser phase noise. We found that the maximum short-term laser frequency fluctuation of a single excitation lasers is at ~ 3.3 k Hz and the maximum long-term laser frequency drift of a single laser is ~ 46 k Hz during one month. Our work develops a stable and repeatable method to provide multiple laser sources of ultra-low phase noise, narrow linewidth, and excellent frequency stability, which is essential for high precision atomic experiments, such as neutral atom quantum computing, quantum simulation, quantum metrology, and so on. 相似文献

We investigate the process of pulsed laser cooling using a self-constructed molecular dynamics simulation(MDSimulation) program. We simulate the Doppler cooling process and pulsed laser Doppler cooling process of a single ~(40)Ca~+ ion, and the comparison with the experimental results shows that this self-constructed MD-Simulation program works well in the weak laser intensity situation. Furthermore, we analyze the pulsed laser Doppler cooling process of a single ~(27)Al~+ ion. This program can be used to analyze the molecular dynamic process of various situations of Doppler cooling in an ion trap, which could give predictions and experimental guidance. 相似文献

RNA molecules contain diverse modifications that display important functions in a variety of physiological and pathological processes. So far over 150 chemical modifications have been characterized to be present in various RNA species, such as in messenger RNA (mRNA), ribosomal RNA (rRNA), and transfer RNA (tRNA). Previous studies revealed that certain RNA modifications were correlated to specific human diseases, indicating RNA modifications could serve as the potential indicator of human diseases. However, systemic investigation of the alteration of RNA modifications in different RNA species of carcinoma tissues are still lacked. Herein, we carried out the comprehensive profiling and evaluation of the alteration of RNA modifications in thyroid carcinoma by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-ESI-MS/MS) analysis. The developed method allowed us to simultaneously detect 48 different types of RNA modifications. Using this method, we detected 10, 15, 14, and 25 modifications in mRNA, 18S rRNA, 28S rRNA and small RNA (< 200 nt), respectively. Compared to the normal tissues, we revealed a total of 14 RNA modification exhibited significant increase and 2 RNA modifications showed significant decrease in thyroid carcinoma tissues. Our study provided the first comprehensive profile as well as the alteration of modifications in different RNA species in thyroid carcinoma and matched tumor-adjacent normal tissues. The altered pattern RNA modifications may serve as the indicator of thyroid carcinoma. Moreover, this study may promote the in-depth understanding of the regulatory roles of RNA modifications in thyroid carcinoma. 相似文献

A new framework for development of order 3.0 weak Taylor scheme towards stochastic modeling and dynamics of coupled nonlinear systems is presented. The proposed method is derived by including third order multiple stochastic integral terms of Ito–Taylor expansion and developing them for a wide class of stochastic nonlinear systems. For computing the system responses of linear and a wide class of nonlinear structural systems, the use of lower order integration schemes is sufficient. But for highly non-linear stochastically driven systems like base isolated hysteretic systems and degrading stochastic systems the evaluation of higher order terms is necessary. Additionally, the use of higher order integration schemes for stochastic dynamics of higher dimensional nonlinear systems remains a challenge due to the arising mathematical complexities with the increase in the number of DOFs (degrees-of-freedom) which really necessitates the development of the proposed algorithm. The proposed algorithm is verified using a representative class of coupled nonlinear system in presence and absence of nonlinear degradation and hysteretic oscillators. The efficiency of the proposed numerical scheme over classical integration schemes is demonstrated through a practical engineering problem. Finally, an automated extension of the proposed algorithm is presented by generalizing it for a system of N-DOFs. 相似文献

Micellar Exchange Kinetics of Quaternary Ammonium Type Gemini Surfactants Monitored by Nuclear Magnetic Resonance 下载免费PDF全文
The dynamic NMR (DNMR) method was used to detect kinetic parameters of the molecular exchange process between monomers in bulk solution and those in the micelle for Gemini surfactants, 12-s-12 and 14-s-14(s=2, 3 and 4).The escape rate constant, k-, was derived based on the simplified equations of DNMR theory, and the apparent activation energy of escape, Ea-, was obtained based on the Arrhenius equation through temperature variation experiments.Results show that the orders of magnitude of k- for 14-s-14 and 12-s-12 are respectively 10 and 103 s-1, Ea- of 14-s-14 and 12-s-12 are respectively 54.04-73.64 and 33.42-47.09 kJ/mol.Furthermore, increases and Ea- decreases with the spacer length growing.In combination with the micro-polarity measurements, it was revealed that molecules of 14-s-14 and 12-s-12 have to experience conformation changes when escaping from the micelles.The two-step molecular exchange mechanism for Gemini surfactants was therefore supported. 相似文献
