Three channel GHz-ranged demultiplexer in solid-solid phononic crystals

We present the design procedure for the elastic GHz-ranged demultiplexer based on a solid-solid phononic crystal platform. It consists of a T-shaped waveguide with three arms. The PnC platform consists of a square array of infinitely long rods of Tungsten embedded in PMMA background. In order to have a wide band gap, it is essential that constituent materials have large contrast in physical properties. These materials have large contrast in their physical properties and it gives us the possibility of having complete band gaps with low filling fractions. To calculate the band diagram and transmission field map, the finite element method (FEM) has been employed. The main waveguides are made by removing one row or one column of rods. For each arm, the radius of rods is modified to have three different defects. Therefore, the designed demultiplexer can separate three frequencies in the range of GHz. To the best of our knowledge, it is for the first time.     

An efficient approach to isoquinoline via AgNO3-promoted 6-endo-dig cyclization followed by oxidative elimination of o-alkynylarylaldimines and its application in fluoride recognition

A novel 6-endo-dig cyclization followed by oxidation/elimination of o-alkynylarylaldimines with 4-hydroxybenzylamine was developed for preparation of isoquinolines. The intermediates of this tandem reaction were monitored by mass spectroscopy (MS) to confirm the reaction pathway. This methodology was further applied to the design and synthesis of a novel ratiometric chemosensor for determination of fluoride.     

The concept of dual roles design in clean organic preparation

Herein we summarized some clean preparation examples to emphasize the concept of dual roles design (or named as “two birds one stone strategy”) in green and sustainable chemistry. In those examples, the reactants and/or solvent play dual roles rendering a cleaner organic preparation process. Consequently, both the chemical waste and manufacturing cost could be reduced.     

砂土串囊式充气锚杆承载力的研究

在砂土地层中,串囊式充气锚杆的研究还比较少,其承载特性及受力机理尚不明确。本文基于莫尔-库仑模型和Vesic圆孔扩张理论法,分别对圆柱体、球体、组合体、椭球体假设下的串囊式充气锚杆的扩大段进行计算分析。并将计算结果与试验得到的实测值进行对比。结果表明:四种形状假设中椭球体的形状假设理论值与实测值的误差最小,仅为8.35%。通过拟合试验数据,并引入与端阻力和侧摩阻力有关的两个系数对承载力公式进行修正,得到了抗拔承载力的经验公式。     

Graphene aerogel supported Pt-Ni alloy as efficient electrocatalysts for alcohol fuel oxidation

Alcohol fuels oxidation plays a significant role in carbon sustainable cycling and high-performance catalyst with a strong anti-poisoning effect is desired. Herein, Pt-Ni alloy supported on the N-doped graphene aerogel synthesized by simple freeze-drying and annealing was demonstrated to have such catalytic ability for alcohol fuel oxidation. 1,10-Phenanthroline: A versatile ligand to promote copper-catalyzed cascade reactions

Ligand-promoted copper-catalyzed cascade reactions have become a robust tool for the synthesis of cyclic compounds. Although numerous ligands have been developed, this review focuses on the introduction of commercially available 1,10-phenanthroline-promoted copper-catalyzed cascade reactions in recent years. Moreover, based on original articles, this review highlights product yields in the presence and absence of the ligand, and the possible mechanistic role of the ‘copper/1,10-phenanthroline’ catalytic system.
