Shooting flexible electronics

The trends of the future electronic devices should be miniaturized,flexible,stable,portable,light,and highly integrated.Although flexible electronic products(i.e.,flexible display products^[1-3],batteries^[4,5],cell phones[6])have been commercially available recently,which represents the starting of a new era in electronics,these progresses are still in their infancy and more efforts are required to boom their multifunction and speed up their marketization from lab.Considering their low-cost and mass-productive synthesis technologies,rich species,high performances,and especially,the excellent flexibility and stability,organic materials(insulating,conductive and semiconducting)have triggered the tide of the development of"plastic electronics",especially in transistors,an indispensable logic device in these logic-control based devices(i.e.,intelligent electronics).

硅和锗纳米线的原子排布和电荷分布的密度泛函紧束缚方法研究

低维硅锗材料是制备纳米电子器件的重要候选材料，是研发高效率、低能耗和超高速新一代纳米电子器件的基础材料之一，有着潜在的应用价值。采用密度泛函紧束缚方法分别对厚度相同、宽度在0.272 nm~0.554 nm之间的硅纳米线和宽度在0.283 nm~0.567 nm之间的锗纳米线的原子排布和电荷分布进行了计算研究。硅、锗纳米线宽度的改变使原子排布，纳米线的原子间键长和键角发生明显改变。纳米线表层结构的改变对各层内的电荷分布产生重要影响。纳米线中各原子的电荷转移量与该原子在表层内的位置相关。纳米线的尺寸和表层内原子排列结构对体系的稳定性产生重要影响。

Scaling Behavior between Heat Capacity and Thermal Expansion in Solids

We experimentally analyze the heat capacity and thermal expansion of reference solids in a wide temperature range from several Kelvin to melting temperature,and establish a universal double-linear relation between the experimental heat capacity C_p and thermal expansion β,which is different from the previous models.The universal behavior between heat capacity and thermal expansion is important to predict the thermodynamic parameters at constant pressure,and is helpful for understanding the nature of thermal properties in solids.     

ON THE EXISTENCE WITH EXPONENTIAL DECAY AND THE BLOW-UP OF SOLUTIONS FOR COUPLED SYSTEMS OF SEMI-LINEAR CORNER-DEGENERATE PARABOLIC EQUATIONS WITH SINGULAR POTENTIALS

In this article,we study the initial boundary value problem of coupled semi-linear degenerate parabolic equations with a singular potential term on manifolds with corner singularities.Firstly,we introduce the corner type weighted p-Sobolev spaces and the weighted corner type Sobolev inequality,the Poincare′inequality,and the Hardy inequality.Then,by using the potential well method and the inequality mentioned above,we obtain an existence theorem of global solutions with exponential decay and show the blow-up in finite time of solutions for both cases with low initial energy and critical initial energy.Significantly,the relation between the above two phenomena is derived as a sharp condition.Moreover,we show that the global existence also holds for the case of a potential well family.     

多元统计分析中一类矩阵迹函数最小化问题的有效算法

研究来源于多元统计分析中的一类矩阵迹函数最小化问题$\min c+ tr(AX)+\sum\limits_{j=1}^{m}tr(B_j X C_jX^{T}),\ \ {\rm s. t.} \ X^TX=I_p,$其中$c$为常数, $A\in R^{p\times n}\ (n\geq p)$, $B_j\in R^{n\times n}, C_j\in R^{p\times p}$为给定系数矩阵. 数值实验表明已有的Majorization算法虽可行, 但收敛速度缓慢且精度不高. 本文从黎曼流形的角度重新研究该问题, 基于Stiefel流形的几何性质, 构造一类黎曼非单调共轭梯度迭代求解算法, 并给出算法收敛性分析.数值实验和数值比较验证所提出的算法对于问题模型是高效可行的.     

Semiconvergence analysis of the randomized row iterative method and its extended variants

The row iterative method is popular in solving the large‐scale ill‐posed problems due to its simplicity and efficiency. In this work we consider the randomized row iterative (RRI) method to tackle this issue. First, we present the semiconvergence analysis of RRI method for the overdetermined and inconsistent system, and derive upper bounds for the noise error propagation in the iteration vectors. To achieve a least squares solution, we then propose an extended version of the RRI (ERRI) method, which in fact can converge in expectation to the solution of the overdetermined or underdetermined, consistent or inconsistent systems. Finally, some numerical examples are given to demonstrate the convergence behaviors of the RRI and ERRI methods for these types of linear system.
