讨论了高品质中空金属光波导的工作原理及其制作工艺,制备了以金和银作为波导材料的中空波导管,并对空芯以及充入不同透明液体的液芯波导的透光特性进行了测试,结果表明:与中空介质波导相比,中空金属波导具有光传输损耗低,透过率对波导弯曲与失调不甚敏感等优点;而液芯金属波导的透光效率与透明材料的折射系数无关。文中描述了在特定波段内“中空光纤”的原理,并报道了He-Ne和CO2激光在中空金壁波导传输的实验结果。 相似文献

We have observed lasing from the rim of dye-doped ethylene glycol pendant drops. Spatial-resolved spectral measurements show that the lasing wavelength varies along a vertical rim of the drop. Time-resolved measurements indicate that lasing precession occurs within the drop. Various lasing patterns due to lasing precession are explained. The measured precession periods for different pumping points are in good agreement with the calculated values based on morphology-dependent resonance theory. 相似文献

When micrometre-sized polymer particles were added into a dye-doped pendant drop that acted as a quasi-two-dimensional circular resonator,we found a blueshift of the peak wavelength of its lasing spectrum.The lasing output was also enhanced by the particles.The spectral blueshift was explained by a model of dye lasing in a circular cavity.The model includes losses of the scattering particles,medium absorption,and radiation leakage,An optimum particle density for maximum lasing output was deduced.The results are consistent with our experimental findings. 相似文献

A figure of merit (FOM) Z = Up/τr, where Up is thepeak voltage, and τr is the rise time of the laser-induced thermoelectric voltage (LITV) signal, is defined for photodetector based on the LITV and the influence of the parameters on FOM is analysed based on the time dependence of LITVs in La1-xCaxMnO3 (LCMO) and YBa2Cu3O7-σ (YBCO) thin films grown on vicinal-cut substrates. We find that the FOM increases as the photon penetration depth decreases, and linearly increases with the thermal diffusion constant D. To achieve the highest FOM, the film thickness d has to be controlled to an optimum value. We also find that the FOM is directly proportional to the laser absorption coefficient no, the laser energy density per pulse E, the illuminated length of film 1, sin(2α) [αis the vicinal-cut angle], the Seebeck coefficient anisotropy ( Sab - Sc), and is inversely proportional to the mass density ρ and the specific heat c0. 相似文献
