Laser performance of 1064 nm domestic Nd:YAG ceramic lasers for 885 nm direct pumping and 808 nm traditional pumping are compared. Higher slope efficiency of 34% and maximum output power of 16.5 W are obtained for the 885nm pump with a 6ram length 1 at.% Nd:YAG ceramic. The advantages for 885nm direct pumping are discussed in detail. This pumping scheme for highly doping a Nd:YAG ceramic laser is considered as an available way to generate high power and good beam quality simultaneously.  相似文献

报道了高功率准连续波腔内和频全固态黄光激光器的研究结果.为获得高功率的黄光输出,首先,激光器采用准连续方式运转,在保持抽运水平的条件下降低热效应,从而提高光束质量和光光转换效率;第二,采用热近非稳腔腔型设计,双棒串接补偿热致双折射技术,获得大基模体积高光束质量的基频光;第三,通过优化腔型,采用L型共折叠臂平-凹对称腔,使两束基频光达到空间重合且满足功率配比.通过这些方法,得到了输出功率7.6W,重复频率1.1kHz的准连续波黄光输出.据我们所知,这是目前腔内和频方案所获得的最高功率全固态黄光输出. 关键词: 黄光激光 腔内和频 Nd:YAG激光 全固态激光器  相似文献

The conversion efficiency on the sixth harmonic of 1064 nm in KBe2BO3F2 (KBBF) at different gas pressures in two kinds of gases, helium and nitrogen, is measured and compared. In the both gases, maximum conversion efficiency on the sixth harmonic of 1064 nm in high vacuum is nearly 10% of 355 nm, which is almost four times higher than that in low vacuum. The maximum average output power at 177.3 nm is 670 ttW with the repetition rate of 10 Hz and the duration of 20 ps in high vacuum. It indicates that the sixth harmonic generation in high vacuum is more preferable than that in low vacuum.  相似文献

This paper investigates the scattering effect of domestic 0.5 at{\%} ceramic Nd:YAG. An effective method has been utilized to measure the scattering and absorption coefficients. An end-pumped continuous wave (CW) Nd:YAG ceramic laser was also demonstrated. A maximum output power of 6.7~W at 1064~nm was obtained at an 808-nm pump power of 32.9~W. Conversion efficiency and slope efficiency have been achieved. This indicates that scattering has an important effect on the optical performance of ceramic Nd:YAG.  相似文献

We report a high conversion efficiency Q-switched Nd:YVO_4/KTiOAsO_4(KTA) intracavity optical parametric oscillator(IOPO) operating near 3.5 um based on direct 880 nm laser diode(LD) pumping. A maximum average idler output power of 2.6 W with a pulse width of about 7.9 ns is achieved under an absorbed LD power of 45.4 W at a pulse repetition rate(PRR) of 10 kHz. The maximum optical-optical conversion efficiency from LD power to OPO mid-infrared(MIR) output of 6.74% is achieved. To our knowledge, this is the highest conversion efficiency for a KTA-IOPO by exploiting a Q-switched laser as the parent fundamental pump source. The beam quality factors M~2 of the MIR beam at the full output power with a PRR of 10 kHz are within 2.12 in both the horizontal and vertical directions, indicating a near Gaussian mode.  相似文献

We experimentally realize a singly resonant optical parameter oscillator (OPO) which operates at the degenerate point of KTiOPOa (KTP) crystal. A thin film plate polarizer (TFP) is used as the output coupler to obtain linearly polarized 2.12 μm laser. A maximum output power of 2.2 W at 2.12 μm is obtained from a near-degenerate, type-II KTP OPO by utilizing a Q-switched diode-pumped Nd:YAG laser operating at 5 kHz.  相似文献

报道了一种稳定的高功率双共振2?μm 光参量振荡器(OPO). 该OPO使用调Q的线偏振全固态Nd∶YAG激光器作为抽运源,利用双棒串接补偿热致双折射和双Q开关正交放置技术提高了抽运源的输出功率和光束质量,通过腔内抽运单块KTP晶体实现了稳定的高功率2?μm 激光输出. 在调Q频率为5?kHz时,得到了295 W的2?μm 激光输出. 研究了OPO输出功率同KTP晶体温度和声光Q调制频率的关系,并测量了在29W时2?μm激光的功率稳定性. 在1 h内该OPO的功率起伏小于1.4%. 关键词: 光参量振荡器 2?μm激光器 KTP晶体 双共振  相似文献

Ways on energy enhancement for single frequency oscillator are reported in this paper. By quantitative analysis on gain and loss coefficients for each cavity mode with inserted etalons, a 37 mJ, 100 Hz high energy single-frequency Nd:YAG oscillator is obtained. The pulse energy is promoted by enhancement of nearly 7 times for a single frequency oscillator reported. The result proves that this method does help for energy enhancement. It has attractive potential for high energy single frequency oscillator design, especially on condition of intensive side pumped or long cavity laser, where strong competitors exist and are hard to be suppressed.  相似文献

The capabilities of a compact and highly efficient NdAl 3 (BO 3) 4 (NAB) thin-disk laser are demonstrated.Under a pump power of 8.2 W,the NAB disk laser delivers an average output power of 4.6 W at 1 063 nm,with a slope efficiency of 64%.The difficulty and complexity of the thin-disk laser design are minimized by the high absorbance of the NAB crystal.To reduce the thermal effect,low repetition frequency pulsed 885 nm direct pumping is considered an efficient way to realize a compact and highly efficient NAB thin-disk laser.  相似文献

对多种全固态激光中的光谱合成技术进行了探讨和研究,包括光纤激光、Yb:YAG板条激光和半导体激光。对于光纤激光,探讨了基于单个多层介质膜(MLD)光栅、一对MLD光栅、多个体布拉格光栅三种衍射光学元件的光谱合成技术中色散造成的光束质量退化问题,指出子束光谱线型的二阶矩全宽决定了光束质量的退化量,但所允许的光谱宽度又依赖于具体的技术选择途径。进而比较了三种光谱合成方案的优缺点。对于固体激光,实验演示了基于Yb:YAG晶体的板条激光实现光谱合成的原理可行性。通过设计一个基于MLD光栅的振荡器内的光谱合成装置,实现了7束子激光最高241 W的光谱合成输出,合成后光束质量β因子约4.1,表明大功率Yb:YAG板条激光具有通过光谱合束技术实现功率进一步提升的潜力。对于半导体激光,提出并设计了大模场外腔半导体激光+快轴光谱合成的技术。实验演示了9个1 mm宽LD芯片沿快轴方向的光谱合成,用β因子评价合成后的光束质量,在慢轴方向β≈6.3,在快轴方向β≈1.6,表明快轴光谱合成造成的光束质量退化是完全可控的。  相似文献
