Determining the adsorption configurations of organic molecules on surfaces, especially for relatively small molecules, is a key issue for understanding the microscopic physical and chemical processes in surface science. In this work, we have applied low-temperature ultrahigh-vacuum tip-enhanced Raman scattering (TERS) technique to distinguish the configurations of small 4,4′-bipyridine (44BPY) molecules adsorbed on the Ag(111) surface. The observed Raman spectra exhibit notable differences in the spectral features which can be assigned to three different molecular orientations, each featuring a specific fingerprint pattern based on the TERS selection rule that determines the distribution of the relative intensities of different vibrational peaks. Furthermore, such a small molecule can in turn act as a local probe to provide information on the local electric field distribution at the tip apex. Our work showcases the capability of TERS technique for obtaining information on adsorption configurations of small molecules on surfaces down to the single-molecule level, which is of fundamental importance for many applications in the fields of molecular science and surface chemistry.  相似文献

Although many ionic metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) have been reported, little is known about how the charge of the skeleton affects the properties of the MOF materials. Herein we report how the chemical stability of MOFs can be substantially improved through embedding electrostatic interactions in structure. A MOF with a cationic skeleton is impervious to extremely acidic, oxidative, reductive, and high ionic strength conditions, such as 12 m HCl (301 days), aqua regia (86 days), H2O2 (30 days), and seawater (30 days), which is unprecedented for MOFs. DFT calculations suggested that steric hinderance and the repulsive interaction of the cationic framework toward positively charged species in microenvironments protects the vulnerable bonds in the structure. Diverse functionalities can be bestowed by substituting the counterions of the charged framework with identically charged functional species, which broadens the horizon in the design of MOFs adaptable to a demanding environment with specific functionalities.  相似文献

本文采用脉冲激光沉积方法在LaAlO3(001)单晶衬底上制备了反钙钛矿GaCMn3薄膜,通过控制制备过程中脉冲激光的能量,研究了不同激光能量条件对GaCMn3薄膜结构与物理性能的影响.分别利用X射线衍射仪、原子力显微镜、超导量子干涉仪和物理性能测试系统,对所制备的薄膜的晶体结构、表面形貌和磁性、电输运性质进行了研究.结果表明,制备的样品均为具有多个晶面取向的反钙钛矿薄膜,且薄膜结构和物性明显随制备激光能量的变化而变化.当激光能量为450mJ时,制备的薄膜多晶面取向性最弱,结晶性和表面形貌最优良.实验所得的薄膜均表现出顺磁-铁磁-反铁磁相转变,然而转变过程比块材较平缓,同时薄膜的电阻率并未表现出块材中的突变特征,我们推测该现象很可能是由衬底的应力及衬底的晶格膨胀对薄膜反常晶格变化的抑制作用造成的.  相似文献

Organic polymers and inorganic clusters belong to two different disciplines and have completely different properties and structures. When a cluster is attached to the backbone of a polymer as a pendant, the resultant hybrid polymers (polyclusters) exhibit unique behaviours totally different from those of conventional polymers owing to the nanoscale size of the cluster and its particular interactions. Herein, the aggregation of a poly(polyoxometalate)—a polynorbornene backbone with inorganic polyoxometalate cluster pendants—upon addition of a non-solvent to its dilute solution is reported. A three-dimensional network of tangled and snake-like nanothreads was observed. Direct visualisation of individual nanoscale clusters enabled identification of single chains within the nanothreads. These observations suggest that during the process of aggregation, the hybrid polymer forms curved or extended chains as a consequence of an armouring effect in which the collapsed cluster pendants wrap around the backbone. The collapse occurs because they become less soluble in the solvent/non-solvent mixture. The extended chains then become entwined and form nanoropes consisting of multiple chains wound around each other. This study provides a deeper understanding of the nature of polyclusters and should also prove useful for their future development and application.  相似文献

Bottom-up synthesis of π-extended macrocyclic carbon rings is promising for constructing length- and diameter-specific carbon nanotubes (CNTs). However, it is still a great challenge to realize size-controllable giant carbon macrocycles. Herein, a tunable synthesis of curved nanographene-based giant π-extended macrocyclic rings (CHBC[n]s; n=8, 6, 4), as finite models of armchair CNTs, is reported. Among them, CHBC[8] contains 336 all-carbon atoms and is the largest cyclic conjugated molecular CNT segment ever reported. CHBC[n]s were systematically characterized by various spectroscopic methods and applied in photoelectrochemical cells for the first time. This revealed that the proton chemical shifts, fluorescence, and electronic and photoelectrical properties of CHBC[n]s are highly dependent on the macrocycle diameter. The tunable bottom-up synthesis of giant macrocyclic rings could pave the way towards large π-extended diameter- and chirality-specific CNT segments.  相似文献

由于在贵金属表面的双炔单元具有高反应活性,表面合成半导体性质的石墨双炔纳米线通常会受到副反应的严重影响,难以分立的纳米线的高质量制备.本文利用化学气相沉积1,4-bis(4-bromophenyl)-1,3-butadiyne分子到表面发生Ullmann偶联反应,可实现无支链的石墨双炔纳米线[-C≡C-Ph_2-C≡C-]_n (PYP)的高产率合成.进一步的单化学键分辨的非接触原子力显微镜表征揭示了单个金增原子与双炔键之间形成了π-ligand键,有效地充当了反应过程中双炔单元的保护基团,避免了偶联过程中的副反应,从而实现了分立的超长石墨双炔纳米线的合成.这项研究将启发对在表面反应中各类表面增原子所起保护作用的更深入研究.  相似文献

本文利用程序升温脱附技术(TPD)研究了乙醛吸附在锐钛矿型TiO2(001)-(1×4)表面的化学性质. 实验结果表明完整晶格位点对乙醛反应表现极为惰性,而表面上的还原型缺陷位点在热驱动下可有效地使乙醛分子通过碳-碳偶联反应生成2-丁酮和丁烯. 提出了乙醛在锐钛矿型TiO2(001)-(1×4)表面偶联反应主要是通过表面还原型缺陷位吸附成对的乙醛分子,因为表面已有的钛原子对还原型缺陷为乙醛分子提供了合适的吸附位点.  相似文献
