We construct a Hölder continuous function on the unit interval which coincides in uncountably (in fact continuum) many points with every function of total variation smaller than 1 passing through the origin. We conclude that this function has impermeable graph—one of the key concepts introduced in this paper—and we present further examples of functions both with permeable and impermeable graphs. Moreover, we show that typical (in the sense of Baire category) continuous functions have permeable graphs. The first example function is subsequently used to construct an example of a continuous function on the plane which is intrinsically Lipschitz continuous on the complement of the graph of a Hölder continuous function with impermeable graph, but which is not Lipschitz continuous on the plane. As another main result, we construct a continuous function on the unit interval which coincides in a set of Hausdorff dimension 1 with every function of total variation smaller than 1 which passes through the origin.  相似文献

A magnetoelectrically permeable interface crack between two semi-infinite magnetoelectroelastic planes under the action of a heat flow and remote magnetoelectromechanical loadings is considered, where the assumption of frictionless contact between two dissimilar halfplanes is adopted. Not only the solutions of the interface crack problem are presented in an explicit form, but also the general condition for the transition from a perfect thermal contact of two magnetoelectroelastic bodies to their separation is given.  相似文献

This article investigates an unbiased analysis for the unsteady two-dimensional laminar flow of an incompressible, electrically and thermally conducting fluid across the space separated by two infinite rotating permeable walls.The influence of entropy generation, Hall and slip effects are considered within the flow analysis. The problem is modeled based on valid physical arguments and the unsteady system of dimensionless PDEs (partial differential equations) are solved with the help of Finite Difference Scheme. In the presence of pertinent parameters, the precise movement of the flow in terms of velocity, temperature, entropy generation rate, and Bejan numbers are presented graphically, which are parabolic in nature. Streamline profiles are also presented, which exemplify the accurate movement of the flow. The current study is one of the infrequent contributions to the existing literature as previous studies have not attempted to solve the system of high order non-linear PDEs for the unsteady flow with entropy generation and Hall effects in a permeable rotating channel. It is expected that the current analysis would provide a platform for solving the system of nonlinear PDEs of the other unexplored models that are associated to the two-dimensional unsteady flow in a rotating channel.  相似文献

基于爆炸压裂裂缝分布规律,提出爆炸压裂缝网双重介质复合流动产能模型,应用Laplace变换Stehfest数值反演,得到了定压条件下封闭外边界低渗透油藏爆炸压裂生产井产能表达式。在模型正确性验证的基础上结合某低渗透油藏储层特征参数研究了爆炸压裂改造区域参数对封闭边界油藏产量的影响,同时对爆炸压裂改造改造体积优化设计进行了研究。研究结果表明,爆炸压裂改造区域半径主要影响生产中期产能,改造区域渗透率对生产早期和中期影响比较大,且对于实例油藏爆炸压裂改造比为0.1时效果最好。  相似文献

Numerical investigation of the dusty Williamson fluid with the dependency of time has been done in current disquisition. The flow of multiphase liquid/particle suspension saturating the medium is caused by stretching of porous surface. The influence of magnetic field and heat generation/absorption is observed. It is assumed that particle has a spherical shape and distributed uniformly in fluid matrix. The unsteady two-dimensional problems are modeled for both fluid and particle phase using conservation of mass, momentum and heat transfer. The finalized model generates the non-dimensioned parameters, namely Weissenberg number, unsteadiness parameter, magnetic parameter,heat generation/absorption parameter, Prandtl number, fluid particle interaction parameter, and mass concentration parameters. The numerical solution is obtained. Locality of skin friction and Nusselt number is deliberately focused to help of tables and graphs. While inferencing the current article it is clearly observed that increment of Williamson parameter, unsteadiness parameter, magnetic parameter, volume fraction parameter, and mass concentration parameter reduces the velocity profile of fluid and solid particles as well. And increment of Prandtl number, unsteadiness parameter,volume fraction parameter, and mass concentration parameter reduces the temperature profile of fluid and solid particles as well.  相似文献

Dissipative tachyonic Cherenkov densities are derived and tested by performing a spectral fit to the γ-ray flux of supernova remnant (SNR) RX J1713.7 − 3946, measured over five frequency decades up to 100 TeV. The manifestly covariant formalism of tachyonic Maxwell–Proca radiation fields is developed in the spacetime aether, starting with the complex Lagrangian coupled to dispersive and dissipative permeability tensors. The spectral energy and flux densities of the radiation field are extracted by time averaging, the energy conservation law is derived, and the energy dissipation caused by the complex frequency-dependent permeabilities of the aether is quantified. The tachyonic mass-square in the field equations gives rise to transversally/longitudinally propagating flux components, with differing attenuation lengths determined by the imaginary part of the transversal/longitudinal dispersion relation. The spectral fit is performed with the classical tachyonic Cherenkov flux radiated by the shell-shocked electron plasma of SNR RX J1713.7 − 3946, exhibiting subexponential spectral decay.  相似文献

A linear problem of parametric oscillations of a low-viscous two-layer fluid in a closed vessel partially filled with a porous medium is studied. An asymptotic solution is constructed on the basis of combined application of boundary functions and averaging methods. Plane ideal incompressible flow in a rectangular channel partitioned by a thin permeable barrier (lattice) is considered. In flowing through the lattice the stream suddenly (jumpwise) changes direction and loses energy. The flow is assumed to be vortical; the vorticity is discontinuous on the lattice. A mathematical formulation of the problem for the stream function is proposed in the form of a nonlinear elliptic equation with coefficients discontinuous on the lattice line. A numerical solution is constructed using the finite-element iteration method. The results of the numerical simulation show how the flow velocity profile in the channel can be controlled by means of permeable barriers.  相似文献
